Label politics are best avoided if you're an artist. But for whatever reason Young Jeezy finds himself caught up in a puzzling situation regarding the release of his new album.
Jeezy can't seem to get a solid release date for 'Thug Motivation 103' from Def Jam. The delays with the album started in 2009, with release dates having changed repeatedly.
Despite having never sold less than a million copies of an album, and two'TM103' singles "Ballin" and "Shake Life," already released, the Snowman is gettling left out in the cold.

If Michael Jackson had been convicted of child abuse in his 2005 there's a chance he might have fled the country.
Jermaine Jackson told the London Times that his family was not going to let their Michael go down for a crime they feel he didn't commit.
"If they were going to sit and crucify my brother for something that he didn't do, America deserves us not to come back here," Jackson, 56, told the paper. "At the end of the day, this is supposed to be the land of the brave, home of the free, democracy, freedom of speech. All that is required is a day's notice, and this DC8 (jet) will have Michael heading east -- to Bahrain -- to start a new life away from the scam of American justice."
Jackson was found not guilty on all charges at the end of the trial. He had been charged with molesting 13-year-old Gavin Arvizo, giving alcohol to a minor and conspiring to kidnap him and his family.

An Officer Ricky vs. Young Jeezy beef has been slowly simmering, with both camps taking shots at each other over the last year.
The latest shot fired comes from Officer Ricky's Maybach Music Group, who seem to be taking shots at Young Jeezy via twitter regarding rumors his album is being pushed back again.
Jeezy's album 'Thug Motivation 103' has been pushed back several times by Def Jam. It was announced two months ago that the album would be dropping September 20. But with that date fast approaching and no real promotion campaign rolled out some believe it will be pushed back again.

With fall releases scheduled for Tyga, Drake, Birdman, Bow Wow, Jay Sean, and Lil Twist, Cash Money/Young Money looks to further strengthen it's position as a music powerhouse. But with so many planned releases in a short span of time it was inevitable a project or two would get pushed back.
Bow Wow is the first of that group to have to move his original release date of 'Underrated' from November 1 to December 6.
He explained on his blog that it's business as usual and assured his fans the project is definitely coming.

Hard work and dedication to his craft is paying off for 50 Cent.
It was just announced that Image Entertainment was so impressed with 50's film "All Things Fall Apart," that they have acquired the rights to it from Hannibal Pictures and will release it to theaters in early 2012.
Image obtained the rights just before the start of Toronto International Film Festival according to the L.A. Times.
The plot of the film centers around a college athlete who is on his way to winning a Heisman Trophy when he's diagnosed with a tumor near his heart.
Fifty lost 80 pounds to accurately portray the role he has described as a "passion" project for him.
"I had to discipline myself not to actually have myself be in the physical state to convey the energy I felt,” told the Associated Press back in February.
The story is based on a real life friend of the rapper/actor.
Tameka "Tiny" Cottle is doing what every man hopes his woman would do for them in a similar situation, and that is sticking up for her husband.
Tiny is speaking out about the unfair treatment she feels her husband T.I. is getting from Georgia prison officials.
"It's important that the world know how unfair he's being treated on such minor charges ... all because he's T.I," the former Xscape singer told TMZ. "There are way more dangerous and carefree [celebrities] that get slapped on the wrist and sent on their way. Our family needs [him] ... and because of someone's personal vendetta against him, we have to watch our kids' sad faces everyday when he still doesn't show up at home."
T.I. was rearrested last week shortly after being freed from an Arkansas federal prison. He is accused by prison officials of violating rules by not letting them know his manager and a producer would take the bus ride with him to a Georgia halfway house.
Tip is now set to be released at the end of September.
Producer extraordinaire 9th Wonder knows a thing or two about good music. He also doesn't do a lot of interviews, so when he speaks it's good to pay attention.
9th recently wrote a column for Vibe comparing two of the best rap records ever made -- Dr. Dre's 'The Chronic' and 'The Blueprint' by Jay-Z.
Both albums are masterpieces that transcended any coast affliliation.
Peep 9th's breakdown of the two albums as told to John Kennedy of Vibe.
The Blueprint changed the scope of how the mainstream thought about music. That really changed the game as far as what records sound like on the radio and how listeners perceived what a hit record was. You had to sample this way, or take a record and speed it up. That was a direct influence from Just Blaze and Kanye West.
The way Jay-Z works, he has a sound for a project and goes with it. The Blueprint was put together in a similar way as The Chronic because The Chronic was based around Parliament-Funkadelic, sounds like that. A lot of people feel the same way about The Blueprint: It's all about one sound. Just Blaze and Kanye found a lane and ran down it.
The best chopped sample is “U Don't Know.”* If you could turn back the hands of time and give everybody that same original record (Bobby Byrd's “I'm Not to Blame”), nobody would’ve chopped it up like Just Blaze. But every record ain't sped up, “All I Need” and “Renegade” were on there, too. It needed that really. It wasn't too left or out of the way. Those records kind of rounded it out.
There weren't a lot of rappers making concept albums. They would just put a bunch of songs out and get two hot singles. The Blueprint brought back the concept album. It wasn't really driven towards singles. It had singles on it, but the way it was packaged, the way it looked, everything—it feels like a whole entire idea. People became more creative about how they released an album. The Blueprint changed all of that. It just changed it all
Are the albums comparable in your opinion. Are both classics?
WASHINGTON – Vice President Biden said Friday that "every asset" in the U.S. counterterrorism arsenal was being tapped to evaluate a specific but unconfirmed threat to strike New York or Washington around the solemn 10th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.
The vice president, who along with President Obama received updated briefings early Friday, said that the threat to use vehicle bombs against possible infrastructure targets is the first "credible" threat received by U.S. authorities since al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden was killed in May.
The threat involves information about three men who may have been sent to the U.S. to carry out attacks using vehicle bombs with the assistance of associates already in the country, two law enforcements officials said.
The officials are not authorized to comment publicly and declined to be identified.
In an interview on NBC's Today show, Biden acknowledged the elements of the threat but cautioned that it remained uncorroborated, beyond the original source in Pakistan.
He encouarged Americans to go about their routines, while urging that they remain "vigilant."
White House spokesman Jay Carney said the president and vice president were briefed by chief counterterrorsim adviser John Brennan, national security adviser Tom Donilon and deputy national security adviser Dennis McDonough.
"John Brennan has been … anticipating the need to be extra vigilant, to take extra precautions around the anniversary, because al-Qaeda — while it has lost its leader — remains a threat to Americans."
Since Thursday night when federal officials publicly acknowledged the threat, additional police have been assigned to the streets in both Washington and New York.
New York City Police Commissioner Ray Kelly said officers' shifts were being extended to maintain the increased presence. He also warned residents to expect increased bag checks at subway stations and vehicle checkpoints at strategic locations around the city.
The heavy security presence was a sharp counterweight to Mayor Michael Bloomberg's method of travel Friday: public transportation.
Like Biden, Bloomberg urged New Yorkers to go about their business as usual.
"There is no reason to change any of your routines," Bloomberg said.
The threat information, passed to U.S. officials by a source in Pakistan, has so far not triggered an elevation of the national threat level.
Even before the threat was received, federal and local authorities had dispatched thousands of additional personnel to landmarks and other sensitive sites in New York and Washington.
In New York alone, Kelly said "thousands" of additional officers, including snipers, bomb technicians, scuba divers and helicopter pilots, were being called to work for the anniversary.
Kelly said the increased staffing and other precautions were part of a plan to treat the anniversary date as if "an actual plot was underway."
With the possible threat still unresolved Friday, investigators were chasing leads beyond Washington and New York.
A report about a rash of stolen trucks in the Kansas City area prompted brief concerns until federal officials determined that all of the rental vehicles had been recovered.

The music industry is a very competitive place for anyone to start a career but when you have the talent, the skills, the passion, and the drive to succeed it’s a playground. When it comes to Sam Haye this is the obvious truth. Sam Haye can easily be compared to Kanye West, and Jay-Z. Kanye being a producer has a very good ear for instrumentals perfect to execute a track well. Jay-Z is arguably the best to do it. With comparisons like these, solid videos like “Go” and a drive to succeed, we can confidently say Sam Haye is next up. The music speaks for itself. All Sam Haye music can be found at: http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/samhaye

Here's the cover art for Styles-P's fourth studio album 'Master Of Ceremonies.'
Last month Styles told MTV that the album will be out in September. Prior to that the Ghost plans on dropping a mixtape 'The World's Most Hardest MC.'
P said the mixtape will consist of all original beats.
"I'm gonna do original beats," he said. "The mixtape game kinda switched now, because I don't want the Feds knockin' at my door for using Weezy and Jay-Z and Kanye and everybody's beats, so you kinda gotta go original."

Dame Dash is dealing with a new set of problems this morning.
Just last month the former co-founder of Roc-A-Fella Records admitted to owing the IRS more than $2 million in unpaid taxes. Now comes news that the city of New York has hit Dash with six counts of storing and selling alcoholic beverages without a license.
According to the Village Voice, Dame's art gallery DD172 served as a "front for a suspected unlicensed club, a nuisance, a disturbance."
The gallery shut down in June of 2011, but some of Dash's former neighbors are still mad at him.
"Damon Dash was a terrible neighbor. It was always super loud, super noisy, tons of garbage in the street. All these 18-year-old kids smoking and drinking—real thugs. They were disrespectful to the neighborhood," said one neighbor, who claims that "the owner rented to Damon Dash to f*ck with the neighbors,"
