Video After The Jump

One of the great things about a festival like SXSW is the easy access to artists for interviews. Fuse TV caught up with Compton's Kendrick Lamar in Austin to chop it up about what he's been up to lately.

Kendrick spoke on the recent Top Dawg deal with Aftermath/Interscope, his next album, working with Dr. Dre and more.

A nasty brawl broke out this morning as the SXSW Music Festival in Austin, Texas was drawing to a close.

Spinner.com is reporting that A$AP Rocky and his crew brawled with drunken fans at a downtown warehouse venue.

The conflict started after A$AP's crew, who were there to perform, started stage-diving and crowd surfing. One of the crew member's doo-rag was snatched off of his head. When he got back onstage the crew demanded it be returned. Someone in the crowd responded by throwing a beer can onstage. At that point A$AP tried to stop the situation from escalating by warning the crowd not to throw anything else onstage. That's when another beer can was thrown. A$AP issued one more warning that if anything else was thrown things would pop off.

Of course a fan threw another can and a fight jumped off with the entire A$AP Mob of about a dozen people hopping into the crowd to brawl with fans.

Most fans scattered, but a few troublemakers stood toe to toe with A$AP's crew.

Security eventually broke up the fight and cleared the venue. One fan reportedly was left with a gash on their head.

**UPDATE**

Some video of the fight has surfaced. I'm sure there will be more coming soon, but check out what happened below.

So, OK, you already know that Mac Miller took home Woodie of the Year at the 2012 mtvU Woodie Awards. But there's so much y'all don't know about what went on at the Woodies. That's why you need to tune in to see the whole show go down this Sunday, March 18, at 8/7c ET on MTV and mtvU.

With performances by Santigold, Steve Aoki, and Mr. Woodie of the Year himself, Mac Miller, you know this show has to be a least a little rowdy. Also not to miss: Vanessa Hudgens, Kat Graham, Mike Posner, B.o.B., Cobra Starship, Chiddy Bang, J. Cole and MGK paying homage to the up-and-coming bands they love, and Jersey Shore/G-Note's DJ Pauly D spinning throughout the night.

Birdman and Slim are having to deal with yet another lawsuit involving non payment of royalties. This one involves music giant EMI.

EMI alleges they are owed nearly $500,000 from the label that is home to Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj and Drake. This lawsuit stems from a previous one in 2009, when EMI sued Cash Money for copyright infringement. The suit was settled and a payment plan was put in place to compensate EMI for songs that Cash Money Records' artists illegally sampled.

EMI is now suing again, alleging the payments from Cash Money have stopped according to Courthouse News.

"Because Defendant has ignored numerous communications from EMI regarding Defendant's contractual obligations, EMI once more is being forced to commence a lawsuit against Defendant to recover royalty payments," the complaint states.
According to the parties' agreement, EMI is entitled to a multiplier penalty of 1.25, which means Cash Money owes more than $491,000 in damages.
"The sales of Defendant's products have far exceeded the payments that EMI has received," the complaint states. "Once EMI realized that Defendant owed more money under the Second Payment it notified Defendant and explained that due to the increased sales, EMI was entitled to additional compensation."

"It is clear from Defendant's conduct that it has no intention of honoring the Agreement."

EMI is represented by Richard Roth of New York City.

It looks like all of the rumors can be put to bed now. Bobbi Kristina Brown and Nick Gordon are officially engaged according to US Weekly.

19-year old Bobbi is the only child of Bobby Brown and late singer Whitney Houston, and who died suddenly on February 11 at the age of 48. Gordon, now 22-years old, was practically raised by Houston from the time he was 12-years although he was never formerly adopted.

The couple is reportedly living together in one of Houston's Atlanta homes. Bobbi is using one of her deceased mom's diamond rings as an engagement ring to Nick.

"The situation is beyond sad," a source told US Weekly. "Whitney never formally adopted Nick, but he lived with her and Bobbi Kristina from the age of twelve and they were raised like brother and sister. Nick came from a really bad background. Bobbi Kristina is still so vulnerable since her mother passed away. But Nick has become like her rock."

Bobby Brown and Whitney's mother, Cissy Houston, are "upset" and "worried" about the romance.

This situation gets a little more strange every day.
