12351886259?profile=original

The-Dream dedicates his new "IAMSAM" EP to his mother, who passed away in 1992. The eight track project features covers of songs by the late, great Sam Cooke.

"My Mother loved a lot of Artist growing up, but the one we shared the most interest in together was Sam Cooke, so Tonight I give him back to her," he captioned a photo of the EP's cover on Instagram. "These songs were originally recording during the making of @beyonce 's 4 album in 2010 w my good Friend Pat Thrall. My mother passed on the 23rd day of December in 1992."

Chris Brown may want to sell his Woodland Hills, California mansion because it seems to be a magnet for troublemakers.

In July three men broke into the home while Chris was away. They held his aunt at gunpoint, locked her inside a closet and ransacked the place.

12351887701?profile=original

Today TMZ is reporting that on Tuesday, December 22, a 27-year old woman waited at the gate for someone to leave, then drove onto the property and refused to leave after being ordered to so by security.

Police were called and the woman was charged with criminal trespass. Chris was home at the time, but never came outside.

This was not the singer's first run-in with a female stalker. In May a woman was found inside his Agoura Hills, California home. She had been there for several days while Chris was out of town.

When he got home she was in his bed naked waiting for him. Needless to say she was hauled off by police and charged with felony burglary and felony vandalism

12351888677?profile=original

Chris later posted her photo on Instagram with a caption that read:

"I get home and find this crazy individual in my house," he wrote. "She had broken the hinges off the doors. She Found time to cook her several meals. She Wrote "I love you" on the walls. She threw out my daughters clothing as well as my dogs stuff. Then had all these crazy voodoo things around my crib. goes to show you how crazy people are crazy! And she painted her name on my cars!!!! I love my fans but this is some on some real real crazy shit! I pray she will get help."

Video After The Jump

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Bill Cosby sued one of his most vocal accusers for defamation Monday, accusing supermodel Beverly Johnson of fabricating claims that the comedian drugged and tried to sexually assault her in the 1980s.

The lawsuit is part of a new legal strategy by Cosby to attack some of the women accusing him of sexual abuse in court. Cosby last week countersued several women accusing him of defamation, but the lawsuit against Johnson is the first time the comedian has taken legal action against a woman who hasn't sued him first.

Cosby's lawsuit accuses Johnson of lying about an incident in which she says Cosby drugged her with a cappuccino in his New York home before letting her go after she angrily rebuked his advances.

The suit contends Johnson, 63, has been using the story — first told in a Vanity Fair story and repeated in numerous interviews and a memoir — to try to rekindle her career.

Johnson's "false allegations against Mr. Cosby have been the centerpiece of her attempted resurgence and she has played them to the hilt, repeatedly and maliciously publishing the false accusations in articles, interviews, and television appearances," Cosby's lawsuit states.

It seeks unspecified damages and an injunction preventing the model from repeating her claims and requests they be removed from Johnson's memoir, which was released in August.

A call to Johnson's publicist Ann-Marie Nieves was not immediately returned.

Cosby's lawsuit states that a dinner described by Johnson was attended by his wife and he never spent time alone with the supermodel.

Cosby's response comes in the wake of counterclaims his attorneys filed last week in a Massachusetts federal court against seven women who are suing him there for defamation. Those women contend Cosby defamed them by allowing his representatives to brand them as liars.

In the countersuit, Cosby claims the women made "malicious, opportunistic, and false and defamatory accusations" of sexual misconduct against him that are "nothing more than an opportunistic attempt to extract financial gain from him."

Cosby is a defendant in six civil cases filed in Los Angeles, Massachusetts and Pittsburgh. Since late 2014, more than 50 women — most of whom have not sued — have accused the comedian of sexual abuse dating back decades. Cosby has never been criminally charged.

Cosby's attorneys on Friday asked a federal judge to dismiss a lawsuit by Renita Hill, who lives near Pittsburgh and has accused the comedian of drugging and having sex with her several times after they met on a children's educational TV show in 1983.

She went public with her allegations in a KDKA-TV news interview on Nov. 20, 2014, and contends blanket denials that Cosby sexually abused women issued since by the comedian, his wife and his attorney make Hill out to be a "liar" and an "extortionist."

Cosby's attorneys noted that those denials didn't refer to Hill by name or otherwise identify her. And even if they did, they are protected speech, they contend.

That's because statements that Cosby's accusers have engaged in "innuendo" or are otherwise motivated by greed are mere opinions, according to Hill's legal request to dismiss the lawsuit.

460x.jpg

"Opinion, as a matter of law, is constitutionally protected and cannot support a plaintiff's defamation claim," the request says.

"None of what's in Cosby's motion is of any surprise at all. These are the legal arguments we expected of him," Hill's attorney, George Kontos, said in an email Monday. "Renita's claims are viable both from a factual and legal standpoint, and we look forward to setting forth our position in the brief we will be filing with the court."

Cosby, 78, has yet to respond publicly to Hill's allegations that he drugged and had sex with her several times after they met on the TV show, "Picture Pages," in 1983. Hill claims that went on for about four years, starting when she was 16, and that Cosby helped pay for her college and would fly her to cities where he was performing and provide her with hotel rooms where he'd have sex with her, until she cut off contact with him.

On Monday, a Las Vegas casting agent named Kathrine McKee sued Cosby for defamation in Massachusetts federal court. Her suit, which she self-filed, claims Cosby's former attorney defamed her by denying her allegations that the comedian raped her in a Detroit hotel room in 1974. Cosby's attorney Monique Pressley did not immediately return an email seeking comment.

Video After The Jump

A local Houston rapper by the name of Corporate Do (pronounced dough) was given the opportunity of a lifetime when Kendrick Lamar pulled him onstage to rap to his song "m.A.A.d. City," at the Day for Night festival Sunday, December 20.

"If you come up here you know you representing all of motherfucking Houston if you don't rap this shit right, right?" Kendrick said while speaking to Do, who was still in the audience at the time. "You know that shit? Do you know it? You sure? Come up here."

12351879501?profile=original

When Do hit the stage and the music began he almost blew it because he completely forgot the lyrics to the song, but he bounced back with a freestyle the crowd seemed to enjoy.

When his performance was over he told the audience, "I love Houston with all my heart. I'm living my dream come true right now. I've been waiting for this my whole life. If I die right now, everything would have been worth it."

TMZ reports that Jas Prince, the man who discovered Drake, was in the crowd and came away impressed enough to exchange info with the rapper.

Do told the Houston Chronicle that his first name is Sam. He's 22-years old and currently works in finance. I guess we'll find out soon enough if he'll be able to quit his day job.

Video After The Jump

Professional boxer Peter 'Kid Chocolate' Quillin (32-1-1) was asked by TMZ Sports to critique the recently released footage of Meek Mill in the boxing gym.

"I think these guys who take boxing as just a workout. You can't put up a video when you don't look that good doing it. I train the likes of Swizz Beatz who actually looks pretty good when he boxes. This video in my opinion, is a horrible video," Quillin said. "First of all, he's not hitting hard and he's not putting his hands back on his chin. He's punching from his waist and that's not a good idea to be a boxer, to punch from your waist because you're leaving your chin exposed."

Quillin was then asked what advice he would give the Philadelphia rapper if he was in a jailhouse fight.

"I think he better off going back and getting his gun and try to sneak it in," Quillin replied.

12351906480?profile=original

As we previously reported, Meek was found guilty last week of violating his probation, stemming from a 2009 drug and gun conviction. He will appear before Philadelphia Common Pleas Judge Genece Brinkley, on February 5 to find out if he will be sent back to jail.

Video After The Jump

What R. Kelly thought would be an interview in support of his latest album, "The Buffet," quickly turned into a tense back-and-forth debate with Caroline Modarressy-Tehrani of Huffington Post Live over his sexually explicit lyrics and past sexual assault accusations, Monday, December 21.

The interview lasted 20-minutes. Towards the end is where things took a turn for the worse.

Modarressy-Tehrani told Kelly that at any point he could exit the interview if he chose to do so. He replied that if the next question to come out of her mouth was negative, he would.

This is what followed:

Modarressy-Tehrani: There's gonna be no negativity, I'm just asking you questions, sir.

Kelly: Well, I know the difference between a negative question and a positive one. So, if I think it's negative I'm gonna walk.

Modarressy-Tehrani: Let's talk about your lyrics for a moment. Would you say you have a healthy relationship with sex? Sex is mentioned frequently in your lyrics. In many of the songs you talk about having sex with multiple women. Would you say you have a healthy relationship with sex and that is reflected musically?

Kelly: I would have to say this. I did not come here to get interrogated. I didn't come here for a deposition. You know what a deposition is?

Modarressy-Tehrani: I'm very aware of what a deposition is.

Kelly: Then you should agree with me when I say that this sounds sort of like a deposition.

Modarressy-Tehrani: I think it may be (my accent). I'm asking you specifically about your music.

Kelly: I don't hear your accent. I'm not paying attention to your accent. I'm only paying attention to the English that comes out of your mouth. This is a deposition. This is not about R. Kelly. This is not about music. This is not about someone who works hard on his music, who has an album out. This is about trying to interrogate me. And this is about disrespect.

Modarressy-Tehrani: Mr. Kelly I don't think I'm disrespecting you. I asked you a very specific question about your lyrics.

Kelly: Well, that's the level of your intelligence, not mine.

Modarressy-Tehrani: I asked you a very specific question about your music and your lyrics.

Kelly: If you don't think think you're disrespecting me, like I said, that's just the level of your intelligence...not mine. Do you drink?

Modarressy-Tehrani: Yeah (I drink)

Kelly: Do you get drunk?

Modarressy-Tehrani: Yeah

Kelly: You fall all over and not know where you're at?

Modarressy-Tehrani: I don't understand the line of questioning, but no.

Kelly: Exactly. But it ain't positive is it? It has nothing to do with your job does it?

Modarressy-Tehrani: But I'm asking you specifically about your music and your lyrics.

Kelly: No, you're asking me about my personal life.

Modarressy-Tehrani: Your personal life has started to interfere with the way people consume your lyrics.

Kelly: You're here to do a job. You're here to get ratings, I respect that. But you won't be getting them off me if you're gonna interrogate me.

Modarressy-Tehrani: I'm not interrogating you.

Kelly: I'm in New York, I'm having a great time. I'm finna visit some friends. I'm finna do some more business. I'm finna have a great time. I didn't come here for you to spoil that.

Modarressy-Tehrani: You're here to promote an album.

Kelly: You have one more question.

Modarressy-Tehrani: I have one more question?

Kelly: Yeah

Modarressy-Tehrani: What do you say to the multiple fans...The many fans who are watching and listening. There have been multiple accusations against you in Chicago. And they are concerned about your past. It's impacting them from purchasing your music.

Kelly: I love 'em all. It doesn't matter who they are. If they hate me, they love me, they wanna destroy me...whatever. I love 'em all. And I love you too.

Modarressy-Tehrani: You don't need to give me any of your love, sir.

Kelly: I love everybody.

Modarressy-Tehrani: You don't need to give me your love. I just wanted to ask the question. What do you say to the fans who don't want to buy your music?

Kelly: I'm not gonna allow you to do that, but I love you. I love my fans.

Modarressy-Tehrani: I have a video question for you from a fan.

Kelly: You don't have any video questions for me because this interview is over.

12351905064?profile=original

And that was that. What's your take on the line of questioning by Modarressy-Tehrani? Was Kelly right to cut the interview short?
