Mystikal is currently in the custody of the Caddo Parish, Louisiana Sheriff's Department. He's been charged with rape in connection with an incident that allegedly took place at a casino where he performed in 2016.

TMZ reports that the Shreveport Police Department put out the arrest warrant last week, but had not been able to track the 46-year old rapper down until he turned himself in on Tuesday, August 21.

Another man, Averweone Holman, was also arrested and charged in connection with the crime.

Mystikal, born Michael Tyler, is being held on $2 million bond.

A member of the rapper's camp told TMZ that the accusation is false, and he plans on pleading not guilty.

   Let me start off by saying,...as an American...I absolutely LOVE the over seas Hip Hop scene. They still embrace so much of what Hip Hop was originally built on. Substance filled bars delivered with immaculate style and precision lay over boom bap beats. Real Hip Hop.

   Which brings us to the topic today....ChozenOfficial, and his new video for Name and Face.   First of all...the quality is the video is AMAZING. It was an immediate eye catcher. As the beat built in to play and dropped...I was hooked...and a line hadn't even been recited yet.

    As ChozenOfficial steps into scene...he just mercilessly destroys any and all doubts you might have. He goes on and on with distinct aim to make each line as thought-filled as the last. As you zone into his outstanding lyrically ability, the cleanliness of the video keeps you tuned in. Filled with hot locations and people just over all having fun is a great break from the American rap videos of clueless-ness, gang signs, guns being waved and males twerking like girls while the rapper raps about murdering other people....Ain;t nobody got no time for that.

     But ChozenOfficial shows us true hiphop heads to have faith as talent and homage are still being bred in the underground. Every aspect of this single from sound to look is top of it's game. And definitely left us wanting more from this dope emcee.

   SS just dropped his new album "Phase One." A 10 song album with most the production done by producer Sith, and a track produced by SS himself. For starters...the strong rugged tone of voice delivered by SS catches your attention immediately. An artist who actually spits like he likes his own music is just something you don't get these days. His style is very well developed. Able to switch the style pattern he uses, SS is able to touch every angle of the instrumental. And he does just that. SS fills the "Phase One" project with some pretty dope bars. Reflecting on a life where few can be trusted, and a dream to get his music out fuels the fire of content through out the project. His album isn't filled with lies about cars he doesn't have, places he has never been and drugs he has never sold. Instead SS chooses to give you him. Him as himself. His talents, his flaws, his successes and failures are the ingredients SS uses to whip up a perfect batch of Hip Hop Music. Definitely a hot project.

The process of artistic creation is one that does not involve thinking, but often channeling. BYNOE is releasing the first single titled “ROCK” from his third studio project, “Sweet Sight For Sour Eyes”. In the 4 min track, Bynoe tells a story of a determined man struggling with everyday life and struggles during, and after incarceration. The track features, the late rapper Chinx vocally sketching and shaping a hook of hopefulness, all from mental confinement. The visual, directed by 2181 Films, with art direction by Suzana Hallili.

Uncle Sam is looking to collect a huge sum of money from Mary J. Blige.

According to court documents obtained by the Daily Mail, the 46-year old 9-time Grammy Award winning singer owes the federal government $6.5 million in back taxes, for the years 2008 through 2016.

The figure was revealed in an Income and Expense Declaration, filed by Blige on August 8, in Los Angeles.

The declaration is a part of the "Real Love" hit maker's divorce proceedings from Martin Isaacs. Blige listed her monthly income at $326,930.

In June she was ordered to pay Isaacs $30,000 a month in temporary spousal support. In addition, the singer must cough up retroactive spousal support dating back to September of 2016, plus Isaacs' attorney fees. That total comes to $235,000.

Blige filed for divorce in July of 2016, after 13 years of marriage, citing "irreconcilable differences."
