Rihanna's hometown of Saint Michael in Barbados has named a street after her. Westbury New Road is now Rihanna Drive.
The sign is already up, but the change will be official on November 30, which is Barbados' Independence Day.
Rihanna will attend the naming ceremony.

On Tuesday, November 28, a Manhattan federal jury convicted James “Jimmy Henchman” Rosemond for the second time of hiring 2 hit men to murder G-Unit associate Lowell “Lodi Mack” Fletcher in 2009.
The former head of Czar Management had his previous conviction for the alleged crime overturned in 2016 by a federal appeals court.
Rosemond, 52, who once managed the careers of The Game, Akon, Salt-N-Peppa, Sean Kingston, Gucci Mane and Brandy was already facing 2 life sentences related to separate drug and gun convictions, so a not guilty verdict would not have freed him from prison.
He was convicted in 2012 for being the kingpin of a multi-million-dollar transnational cocaine-selling organization.
The New York Post reports that in this latest trial government witness, Brian “Slim” McCleod, who had done time with Fletcher, testified that he lured his friend to an isolated part of the Bronx with promises of money and drinks.
When they got there Derrick Grant and Rodney Johnson were waiting. Grant reportedly fired the fatal shot.
The hit was in retaliation for a 2007 altercation between Fletcher, Tony Yayo and Henchman's teenage son near Czar Entertainment's New York City office.
Charges against Yayo in the case were dismissed.
"As I told you from the beginning, Tony Yayo did not hit anyone and would never do anything to harm a child," his lawyer Scott Leemon said at the time.
Fletcher pleaded guilty to one misdemeanor count of endangering the welfare of a child and was sentenced to nine months in prison.
He was murdered 2 weeks after being released.

(Via FightMag.com) UFC 218 takes place at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit on Saturday December 2. The main card live on Pay-Per-View features five bouts, with the featherweight title contested in the headliner of the show.
The reigning featherweight champion Max Holloway defends the belt facing off Jose Aldo. The latter is a replacement for the previously announced Frankie Edgar, who was forced to pull out from the contest due to injury earlier this month.
The Holloway and Aldo bout is also a rematch. In their initial encounter in June the champion won the belt by the second-round TKO with punches.
Also on the main card heavyweight Alistair Overeem takes on Francis Ngannou. Henry Cejudo meets Sergio Pettis at flyweight. Lightweight Eddie Alvarez battles out against Justin Gaethje. In addition, Tecia Torres and Michelle Waterson square the differences at women’s strawweight.
The preliminary card comprises four bouts, following a four-fight card on UFC Fight Pass. The complete UFC 218 fight card can be found below.

Super talented, but often troubled Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon would probably be raking in lots of money illegally if he had not made it to the NFL.
In a new interview with Sports Illustrated, the 26-year old Houston native detailed how he made ends meet while at Baylor University. Read an excerpt below.
"As a sophomore at Baylor he says he was receiving as much as six pounds of weed—vacuum-sealed and wrapped in Mylar, sprayed with kerosene and covered in coffee beans to mask the smell, shipped through U.S. mail—every week from a dealer back home. He would drive to Dallas, Austin and San Antonio to sell it, and he estimates he was bringing in upward of $10,000 in profit every month. He was arrested for possession in fall 2010 and one year later was indefinitely suspended for failing a school drug test."
Gordon, who hasn't played in an NFL game since 2014 due to multiple drug suspensions by the league, is expected to make his return this Sunday when the winless Browns take on the Los Angeles Chargers.

Music fans recognize Timbaland as one of the best producers in history.
The Norfolk, Virginia native, born Timothy Mosely, is a 4-time Grammy Award winner. Having crafted hit records for Aaliyah, 50 Cent, Justin Timberlake, JAY-Z, Beyonce, Nelly Furtado, Madonna, Missy Elliot and countless others.
There's also a dark side to Timbo's life that many were not aware of until now.
In a new interview with Rolling Stone, the 45-year old reveals he once overdosed on narcotics.
"I was on drugs, dude. I was on OxyContin," he told the publication. "Music is a gift and curse. Once you're not popping, it plays with your mind. The pills helped block out the noise – I'd just sleep all day. I remember Jay-Z told me one time, 'Don't do no more interviews' – because I was saying crazy shit."
"All I can tell you is that there was a light," Timbaland continues. "I woke up trying to catch my breath, like I was underwater. But through that whole thing I saw life – I saw where I would be if I don't change, and where I could be if I did. But I thought about Michael Jackson. I didn't want to be old and taking these pills. I felt like I wasn't committed, I was riding off ego. It was really about me neglecting my gift. As a producer and a soundmaker, I had to find out what God had in store for me."
We're glad to report that the super producer kicked the pill habit and is back in the studio doing what he does best.
He has a new solo album on the way and has been working with Young Thug and Ty Dolla $ign, Jay-Z, Zayn Malik, Chris Martin, Wiz Khalifa and Zac Brown.

Meek Mill is exploring every legal avenue in an effort to be released from prison. His lawyers filed an emergency motion with the Pennsylvania state Superior Court on Tuesday, November 28, asking for the 30-year-old rapper, born Robert Williams, to be released immediately on bail, according to the Philadelphia Enquirer.
Mill's team has grown frustrated with Philadelphia Common Pleas Court Judge Genece Brinkley, who they say has not responded to any of their post-sentencing appeals.
“As of this filing, more than 10 days after submission [Brinkley] has taken no action — not even to schedule a hearing — on any petitioner’s motions, and in particular not on the bail motion,” the emergency habeas corpus petition says.
Brinkley, who sentenced the Maybach Music Group recording artist to 2-4 years in prison for a probation violation, stemming from a 2009 drug and gun conviction, has 30 days to respond to a petition filed on November 14 for a new bail hearing.
Meek's lawyer Peter Goldberger argues that the new motion is allowed under state appellate rules “to seek transfer from unlawful to lawful form of custody — such as bail, in this case — as well as to obtain release from all custody.”

In this VladTV clip, Lord Jamar and DJ Vlad mull over some questionable lyrics in hip-hop, specifically those from the late great Notorious B.I.G. DJ Vlad even brought one of Lord Jamar's own lyrics to the fore but he quickly dispelled the notion of his line being questionable by clarifying exactly what he said.
Lord Jamar also gave his take on Young MA who he believes is the only semi-poppin' gay rapper. He believes that true hip-hop won't embrace an outwardly gay rapper because it goes against the core of the culture. Lord Jamar doesn't even believe a superstar of a Kanye or Drake caliber can change that.
