Throughout his 20-plus year career, Redman has consistently delivered high quality hip hop. Out of his first three albums, two are considered classics.
"Whut? Thee Album," which was released 20 years ago and "Muddy Waters," which was released in 1996 generally get high marks from critics and fans alike.
Frequent Redman collaborator Method Man confirmed in an interview with AllHipHop back in July that Redman was working on "Muddy Waters 2." Yesterday Funk Doc officially confirmed it himself by releasing the cover art.
No release date information was given, but at least we know for sure that the album is coming.

Kanye West is taking this sex tape thing to new heights. As we previously reported, news that Kanye made a smut tape with a Kim Kardashian look-a-like leaked last week. Now comes news that a second tape is also being shopped to the highest bidder.
According to TMZ, the second tape is twice the length of the first one in running time, with 40 minutes of action.
Both tapes were shot several years ago with ex-girlfriends.
Kanye's reps are still trying to figure out how the tapes were stolen from his computer. They plan to take legal action if either of them are sold and hit the open market.
One thing is for certain, Kanye has already surpassed Kardshian's sex tape output and who knows how many more might leak out.
**UPDATE**
The bidding war for Kanye West's sex tapes is heating up.
Vivid Entertainment boss Steve Hirsch, the man responsible for releasing adult tapes featuring Kim Kardashian, Ray J, Montana Fishburne and ex Playboy Playmate Karissa Shannon, has previously said he would pay as much as $2 million for Kanye's tape, but that was before news broke that there are actually 2 X-Rated flicks floating around of the G.O.O.D. Music rapper.
"It depends on the quality of the tape, the length, the lighting, the sex," Hirsch said. "But something like this could go for a couple of million dollars. I don't think there has ever been a sex tape with a star of this magnitude. Tommy Lee was big, but this is a different world and Kanye is a special guy. He's everywhere."
Canadian based porn site Sex.com has upped their offer from $1 million to $5 million upon learning of the second tape according to XXL.
Read their statement below.
“By purchasing both tapes, Sex.com will bolster a Celebrity section like no other free, adult entertainment website. Upon purchase, Sex.com will exclusively host both videos for free in the Celebrity section and then begin packaging the sex-tapes together for a DVD release. Sex.com sees Mr. West as much more than a rapper. He is a cultural icon, responsible for setting trends in music and fashion. Sex.com feels that these sex-tapes are not only an exclusive look into the star’s intimate life but could also contain the same Midas touch Mr. West brings to all his projects.”

Kanye West has launched a legal fight to stop his sex tape from seeing the light of day.
AllHipHop.com is reporting that they have received a takedown notice from the law firm representing Kanye. The firm alleges the tape was stolen from Kanye's computer.
While the law firm searches for the person shopping the tape to the highest bidder, they are demanding that websites remove images taken from it.
“Be advised that the Screen Shot, as well as the Tape from which the Screen Shot was taken, were illegally obtained and believed to have been stolen from Mr. West’s computer,” Kanye’s lawyer Lisa M. Buckley of Pryor Cashman said in a legal document sent to AllHipHop.com.
“Your posting, advertising, marketing, displaying and otherwise disseminating the stolen Screen Shot and/or other materials on the Tape constitute actionable violations of Mr. West’s rights of privacy and publicity,” Buckley said.
“We hereby demand that you: (1) immediately cease and desist from posting, advertising, marketing, displaying and disseminating the illegally obtained Screen Shot of Mr. West,” the notice reads.
Radaronline was the first website to report that there was a sex tape of Kanye and a Kim Kardashian look-a-like being shopped around. They also posted a screen shot from it, but have since removed it.
As we previously reported, Sex.com has offered $1 million for the rights to the tape, but it could be worth much more than that.
“We’ve heard rumors for a couple of years about this tape being available," Steven Hirsch founder and co-CEO of Vivid Entertainment told The New York Daily News.
Vivid is the company that is responsible for distributing the celebrity sex tapes of Kardashian and Ray J, Montana Fishburne and former Playboy Playmate Karissa Shannon.
Hirsch says Vivid is willing to pay more than $2 million for Kanye's tape.
“We would have to see the tape and the quality,” he said. “If it was really good, we would do everything in our power to buy it," Hirsch said. “Celebrity women who are in sex tapes do better than men celebrities. But Kanye is different. He is a huge rock star. This is a guy that everyone in the world knows and I think people would be interested. I don’t think it’s a huge scandal, but I think it’s a huge seller.”
If Kanye and his lawyers are successful, Hirsch won't get the chance to distribute this tape.

As we reported yesterday, there is a sex tape of Kanye West with a Kim Kardashianlook-a-like that is currently the subject of a bidding war between various smut companies to see who will get the rights to distribute it.
The woman in the clip was not immediately identified, but according to several websites her name is Monyy Mon (sometimes spelled Monyy Mon or Mony Mon). She is a 25-year old model of Hispanic descent from California. Her real name is Jasmine.
Mony certainly bears a striking resemblance to Kim, literally from head to toe. Check out some pictures of her below as well as a booty shaking video.
*UPDATE*
Mony has taken to her Twitter account to deny that she is the woman in the sex tape. Read what she has to say below.
About an hour later she posted another message regarding the tape.
