Kim Kardashian turned her family's war with Taylor Swift up another notch on Sunday, July 17, when she released audio via Snapchat, of the singer giving her husband, Kanye West, the green light to use lyrics about her in his song "Famous" off of his album, "The Life of Pablo."
Swift has long denied approving the lyrics in which Kanye raps: "For all my Southside niggas that know me best I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex. Why? I made that bitch famous. God damn. I made that bitch famous."
“Kanye did not call for approval, but to ask Taylor to release his single ‘Famous’ on her Twitter account," her rep said at the time. "She declined and cautioned him about releasing a song with such a strong misogynistic message. Taylor was never made aware of the actual lyric.”
The denial started a beef between the two superstars.
Check out the transcript of the phone call between West and Swift via E! Online below.
Kanye West on the phone with Taylor Swift: "You still got the Nashville number?"
Taylor Swift: "I still have the Nashville umm area code, but I had to change it."
Kanye West reads the "Famous" lyric: "To all my southside n----s that know me best, I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex."
Taylor Swift: "I'm like this close to overexposure."
Kanye West: "Oh, well this I think this a really cool thing to have."
Taylor Swift: "I know, I mean it's like a compliment, kind of."
Kanye West: "All I give a fuck about is you as a person and as a friend, I want things that make you feel good. "
Taylor Swift: "That's sweet."
Kanye West: "I don't want to do rap that makes people feel bad."
Taylor Swift: "Umm, yeah I mean go with whatever line you think is better. It's obviously very tongue in cheek either way. And I really appreciate you telling me about it, that's really nice."
Kanye West: "Oh yeah, I just had a responsibility to you as a friend you know, and I mean thanks for being so cool about it."
Taylor Swift: "Aw thanks. Um yeah I really appreciate it, like the heads up is so nice. [inaudible] Even asking or seeing if I would be okay with it and I just really appreciate it. Like I would never expect you to like tell me about a line in one of your songs."
Kanye West: "It's pretty crazy."
Taylor Swift: "And then the flowers that you sent me, I like Instagrammed a picture of them and it's like the most Instagram likes I've ever gotten. It was like 2.7" [video cuts off]
Kanye West: "Relationships are more important than punch lines, ya know?"
Taylor Swift: "I don't think anyone would listen to that and be like that's a real diss she must be crying. You've gotta tell the story the way that it happened to you and the way that you experienced it. You honestly didn't know who I was before that. It doesn't matter that I sold 7 million of that album before you did that which is what happened, you didn't know who I was before that. It's fine."
Taylor Swift: "I might be in debt, but I can make these things happen. I have the ideas to do it and I create these things and concepts. I'm always going to respect you. I'm really glad that you have the respect to call me and tell me that as a friend about the song. It's a really cool thing to do and a really good show of friendship so thank you."
Kanye West: "Thank you, too."
Taylor Swift: "And you know, if people ask me about it I think it would be great for me to be like, ‘Look, he called me and told me the line before it came out. Jokes on you guys, We're fine.'
You guys want to call this a feud; you want to call this throwing shade but right after the song comes out I'm going to be on a Grammys red carpet and they're going to ask me about it and I'll be like, ‘He called me.' It's awesome that you're so outspoken about this and be like, ‘Yeah, she does. It made her famous.' Its more provocative to say ‘might still have sex…' It's doesn't matter to me. There's not like one [line] that hurts my feelings and one that doesn't."
Swift quickly took to her Twitter account to fire back, saying she never approved being called a "bitch" and accused Kim and Kanye of assassinating her character.
“Where is the video of Kanye telling me he was going to call me ‘that bitch’ in his song? It doesn’t exist because it never happened. You don’t get to control someone’s emotional response to being called ‘that bitch’ in front of the entire world," Swift wrote. "Of course I wanted to like the song. I wanted to believe Kanye when he told me that I would love the song. I wanted us to have a friendly relationship. He promised to play the song for me, but he never did. While I wanted to be supportive of Kanye on the phone call, you cannot ‘approve’ a song you haven’t heard. Being falsely painted as a liar when I was never given the full story or played any part of the song is character assassination. I would very much like to be excluded from this narrative, one that I have never asked to be a part of, since 2009.”

BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — Three officers are confirmed dead and three others wounded after a shooting in Baton Rouge, a sheriff's office spokeswoman said Sunday. One suspect is dead and law enforcement officials believe two others are still at large, the spokeswoman said.
Casey Rayborn Hicks, a spokeswoman for the East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office, said in a statement that the public should call 911 immediately if they see anything suspicious.
The shooting — which happened just before 9 a.m., less than 1 mile from police headquarters — comes amid spiraling tensions across the city — and the country — between the black community and police. The races of the suspect or suspects and the officers were not immediately known.

Baton Rouge Police Sgt. Don Coppola told The Associated Press earlier that the officers were rushed to a local hospital. Coppola said authorities are asking people to stay away from the area.
Multiple police units were stationed at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, where stricken officers were believed to be undergoing treatment at a trauma center. A police officer with a long gun was blocking the parking lot at the emergency room.
Officers and deputies from the Baton Rouge Police Department and East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office were involved, according to Hicks.
An Associated Press reporter on the scene saw police vehicles with lights flashing massed about a half mile from the police headquarters on Airline Highway. Police armed with long guns on the road stopped at least two vehicles driving away from the scene and checked their trunks and vehicles before allowing them to drive away.
Police-community relations in Baton Rouge have been especially tense since the killing of 37-year-old Alton Sterling, a black man killed by white officers earlier this month after a scuffle at a convenience store. The killing was captured on cellphone video and circulated widely on the internet.
It was followed a day later by the shooting death of another black man in Minnesota, whose girlfriend livestreamed the aftermath of his death on Facebook. Then on Thursday, a black gunman in Dallas opened fire on police at a protest about the police shootings, killing five officers and heightening tensions even further.
Alton Sterling (left( and Philando Castile
Over the weekend, thousands of people took to the streets in Baton Rouge to condemn Sterling's death, including hundreds of demonstrators who congregated outside the police station. Authorities arrested about 200 people over the three-day weekend.
Michelle Rogers, 56, said the pastor at her church had led prayers Sunday for Sterling's family and police officers, asking members of the congregation to stand up if they knew an officer.
Rogers said an officer in the congregation hastily left the church near the end of the service, and a pastor announced that "something had happened."
"But he didn't say what. Then we started getting texts about officers down," she said.
Rogers and her husband drove near the scene, but were blocked at an intersection closed down by police.

"I can't explain what brought us here," she said. "We just said a prayer in the car for the families."

Pokeman Go and mixed martial arts would normally never be mentioned in the same sentence, but undefeated welterweight fighter Michael Page (11-0) does things a little differently.
Page faced off with Evangelista Santos (21-18) Saturday, July 16, at Bellator 158, which took place at The O2 in London.
The ending came in devastating fashion as Page landed a flying knee to Santos' face in the second that sent the Brazilian fighter to the mat in obvious pain.
Following the knockout, "Venom," showboated by trying to capture his downed opponent with a pokeball.
On a much more serious note, Santos, was badly injured. He suffered a depressed skull fracture and had to undergo surgery.
According to the doctors. Cyborg has a depressed fracture from the knee MVP landed. Surgeons currently working on him. #Bellator158

We wish Santos the best and hope he recovers soon.

A legal battle between rapper/producer and Tha Dogg Pound member, Daz Dillinger, and BMG publishing is delaying the release of the highly anticipated Tupac Shakur biopic, "All Eyez on Me."
TMZ reports the issue is over who owns the rights to "Ambitionz Az a Ridah."
Daz produced the song, which appears on Tupac's 1996 "All Eyez on Me" album, and believes it's his call whether or not the tune can be used in the film.
BMG has thrown up a legal stop sign, insisting only they can green light the song's use, leading to the current stalemate.
The movie's release date has been pushed back from September to November, while the two parties try to sort this out.
This isn't the first time Daz and BMG have had issues. The rapper sued them in April, claiming they owe him more than $75,000 in royalties.
