Suge Knight has filed a lawsyuit against Chris Brown for his shooting at the singer's 2014 pre-VMA party.
Knight is also suing 1OAK. the West Hollywood nightclub where the party was held and singer Pia Mia, who was co-hosting the event.
Pia Mia
According to TMZ, the former Death Row Records co-founder blames Brown and 1OAK for not having adequate security.
He accuses Brown of being a "known gang associate" with a " history of hosting events where violence has broken out."
Knight was shot a total of 7 times. He suffered wounds to the left forearm, abdomen and chest when an unknown assailant opened fire inside the club.
Knight cites health complications related to the shooting, including a blood clot.
At this time it's not known what damages he is seeking.
Knight is currently incarcerated in a Los Angeles jail awaiting trial for a January 2015 hit-and-run accident that killed Terry Carter and left Cle “Bone” Sloan with two fractured ankles, torn ligaments in both knees and a head injury that needed 17 stitches.
A fight between Cle "Bone" Sloan (left) and Suge Knight resulted in a deadly hit-and-run accident
The incident happened at a Compton burger joint during a continuation of a fight between Knight and Sloan that originated on the set of the movie, "Straight Outta Compton," where Sloan was working security.
Knight is charged with murder, attempted murder and two counts of felony hit-and-run in the incident. He could face 25 years to life in prison under California's so-called three-strikes law if convicted.

A bouncer for Hyde nightclub in Los Angeles has filed a battery report with the LAPD, accusing Lil Wayne of punching him in the face Sunday, June 26.
Weezy and 2 Chainz were at the club hosting a BET Awards after-party. That's the only thing either party agrees on.
According to TMZ, the bouncer claims that the Young Money Records boss got heated because some of his entourage were not allowed to enter the establishment. An argument escalated to the point where Wayne allegedly threw a punch.
The bouncer went to the hospital for minor injuries and called the police.
Wayne's teams says the bouncer's story is 100% fabricated.
In their version of events the bouncer worked their VIP section the entire night. At some point there was tension caused by the employee grabbing the rapper's arm because he didn't recognize him.
Wayne's sources say he later apologized.
Authorities have opened an investigation and want to talk to the "How to Love" hit maker.
At worst he could be facing a misdemeanor battery charge.
According to the assaultandbattery.org, a conviction could cost him up to $2,000 in fines and 6 months in jail, under California Law.

At least one of those celebs isn't happy about it and his manager has sent a direct message to Yeezy.
A TMZ reporter asked Ray how he felt about his likeness being used in the video. The singer said he didn't want to "talk about that," however his manager, Wack 100, had quite a bit to say.
"Our likeness? Did they show him with his dick in his wife's mouth?" Wack told the cameraman. "Tell him Wack 100 said that. If they didn't show Ray J with his dick in Kim Kardashian's mouth, tell Kanye to go back and re-shoot that shit. Tell that nigga he a long way from Chicago. He better watch his motherfucking mouth."
Ray and Kim dated for a period of time and appeared together in the hugely popular 2007 XXX flick, "Kim Kardashian Superstar."

50 Cent was arrested in the Caribbean Saturday, June 25, for using profanity while performing his hit record "P.I.M.P."
The music icon and Effen Vodka were hosting the final night of the 19th Annual St Kitts Music Festival in front of 40,000 people at the Warner Park Stadium, Basseterre when the incident occurred.
"There are laws in St. Kitts that do not take kindly to the use of indecent language on stage," information minister Jacinth Henry Martin said when DMX was arrested in 2003 for the same minor offense.
50's rep told TMZ that the concert was a "great success" and "for future trips to St. Kitts he will leave the motherfuckers in the United States."
The "I Get Money" hit maker is already on his way back home.

Chris Martin, lead singer of Coldplay, has worked closely with Rihanna. His band collaborated with the singer on the song "Princess of China" off of their 2011 album titled "Mylo Xyloto."
They have since performed the song live several times, including at the 54th Annual Grammy Awards on February 12, 2012 in Los Angeles and on September 9, 2012 at the closing ceremony of the 2012 Summer Paralympics in London.
Martin believes Riri's vocal talents rank her with the all-time greats, calling her the modern day Frank Sinatra.
“She is the Frank Sinatra of our generation. She can turn anything into gold with that voice," he told The Guardian in a new interview. "Here’s the thing: if you speak to a good singing teacher about great opera singers, they will talk about consistency of tone. Or there’s a book by Alfred Tomatis about why some people like certain people’s voices and other people hate them, like Bob Dylan or me or whoever, some people say, ‘Oh, I hate that voice’, so there’s a thing about people’s frequency responses – what they are pleased by. Rihanna has this thick tone, so it’s very hard to annoy anybody. It’s like a beautifully squeezed tube of toothpaste. When you think of Rihanna’s voice you think of this whole, rich thing, solid like a tree trunk, and. Drake is pretty similar. But Rihanna’s voice is just delicious for your ear. Sinatra had the same thing; anything he sang sounded pleasing to most people.”
