Day two of the Coachella Music Festival saw Raphael Saadiq and Erykah Badu grace the stage.

Badu performed a bit of everything during her 36 minute set. She had to wake the lazy crowd up during "On & On" asking them "damn yall don't feel that?"

Saadiq would take the stage later in the evening. with a damn good band in tow. Raphael's set was a lengthy 45 minutes, but seemed to fly by as he jammed out to hits like "Be Here" and "Staying in Love."

Solange Knowles put down the mic for a night and picked up a pair of headphones.

Beyonce's little sister hopped in the dj booth Friday (April 15) to provide the grooves at Roberto Cavalli Trunk Show in Las Vegas.

The singer seemed to have a good time, reportedly spinning Motown oldies for those in attendance. After the show she tweeted her nearly 600,000 followers about the experience.

Helping to kick off the first day of the Coachella Festival, Lauryn Hill and Cee Lo both performed, but only one of them left happy Saturday (April 15) in Indio, California.

Hill's nearly 40 minute set included everything from "Lost Ones" to "Ex Factor." Hill then asked the crowd "how many Fugee fans do we have in the house tonight?" before tearing into "Fu Gee La" and "Ready Or Not."

The crowd of mostly teen kids didn't seem to recognize a lot of her songs and Hill was raspy voiced throughout, but she made up for that with enthusiasm and a solid band.

Meanwhile, Cee Lo got a raw deal as his set for cut short after only 3 songs.

After apparently starting his set late, the festival's organizer's pulled the plug on the Goodie Mob member as he sang Journey's  "Don't Stop Believing."

Earlier this year Birdman was named one of the top 5 wealthiest artists. It's Stunnas first time on the list. He was joined by 50 Cent, Dr Dre, Diddy, Jay-Z, all estimated to be worth $100 Million or more.

During a recent interview with Uptown Angela, Birdman said his numbers weren't calculated correctly.

"I don't know where they get that sh*t from. I'm valued at more than $100 million," Birdman said. "That's a low number for a n*gga like me, but it's cool though."

Known for stunting every chance he can get, Birdman talked about his desire to buy a one-of-a-kind $8 million dollar Maybach.

"I offered them $10 mil for it, but they won't sell it." Birdman says.

Looks like there are still a few things money can't buy.

He also debuted his party starter “Dance Like a White Girl” for the ladies. “Everyday is your birthday so hit the floor,” commanded Swizzy. “When this shit come on, this is the excuse for you to go as fu**ing crazy as you want to go.” Watch him kick off his shoes and cut a rug to the bouncy anthem.

DJ Pauly D signing to G-Unit Records might be a Shore Thing. The “Jersey Shore” star is reportedly in serious discussions to ink a deal with the house that 50 Cent built.

TMZ reports that Pauly is “dangerously” close to signing a three-album deal with G-Unit, with the music mogul pushing to wrap negotiations ASAP.

The reality star, who appeared at a screening of 50’s film Things Fall Apart last week, met with the Queens rapper while in New York to discuss the potential partnership. In addition to music, Fif is interested in launching a merchandise line with Pauly including headphones.

While a deal has yet to be finalized, 50 wants things to close before Pauly ships off to Italy to film the fourth season of MTV’s hit show.

12348836672?profile=originalVideo After The Jump....Eve and Swizz Beatz are cooking up some more heat. The longtime collaborators, who reunited on the producer’s new single, recently completed another track for E-V-E’s fourth album Lip Lock. The Philly raptress revealed the song’s title in an interview promoting Swizz’ collaboration with Reebok. “Last night, I was in the studio tweaking a song that we actually worked on for my album called ‘Mama in the Kitchen’ that’s ridiculous,” she shared. “It’s a really big record.”The fellow Ruff Ryders’ chemistry in the studio is undeniable. “The synergy between me and Swizz, it creates a whole ‘nother sound that I couldn’t get from anyone else,” she continued. “And for me, the album’s not complete if he’s not on it. I came up with him, with my career, so for me, if I have an album without him on it, it’s not right.”In addition to her oft-delayed album, due later this year, Eve appears on “Everyday (Coolin’),” the lead single from Swizz’ Haute Living album, for which a video was recently shot.

12348843464?profile=originalIt never fails, at every Wiz Khalifa concert fans throw weed on stage hoping the rapper will take a toke. He never does and never will.

Although Wiz is a self professed weed head, who smokes by his estimation $10,000 a month gives the fan weed away.

Musically Wiz said he wants to work more with Lex Luger and Pharell Williams

"I'm excited to work with Pharrell, and I want to do some more stuff with Lex Luger. I want to just build and do crazy stuff that people that don't even expect," Wiz said "We got together once at a studio in South Beach and we made two records that night, but it was like at the end of when I was doing my album, so I think if we get in now, it'll be totally different.

After years of heavy drug abuse, trouble with the law and a tumultuous marriage to Whitney Houston, Bobby Brown says he's finally cleaned up his act.

In an interview with The Boombox, Brown was very candid about where he's been and where he's headed.

"I'm definitely in a better place in my life," Brown told BoomBox. "Six years sober from drugs. I'm just really grateful that I can get off the heroin, the crack, the coke. I'm glad I just have a beautiful woman in my life who's always there for me. At times when it gets really hard, she's right there, you know, to hold me and let me know, you know, 'Look at where you come from and look at where you are right now.' I'm just grateful."

Brown's 18-year old daughter Bobbi Kristina, from his marriage to Whitney Houston has seen her name hit the entertainment blogs, with stories of her reported hard partying and druga abuse. Brown says his daughter is doing just fine.

Like any newcomer trying to break into a business, some young West Coast rappers have been met with resistance from a few of the OG's. Ice Cube and Jay Rock briefly went at it over Cube's sometimes less than tolerant stance on the New West.

Snoop has taken a different path with the younger rappers. He's gotten to know and embrace a lot of them.

"As far as the New West or the young MCs out here on the West Coast, I'm very familiar with them because they call me Uncle Snoop. So more than likely, they come get my blessings on a record, or through mutual friends we connect with each other," Snoop told MTV. "Because I always keep my ear to the streets and I always love being a part of what's new and fly representing the West Coast. I've always been one to try to put that on the forefront, so I keep my ear glued to the street when it comes to these new acts from the West. I try to be a part of their projects and a part of blowing them up."

Some of the names you can expect to hear a lot from over the next few years from the West are Glasses Malone, Slim The Mobster, Nipsey Hussle, Jay Rock, 2Eleven, Odd Future, Lil B and many more.

Snoop has already collaborated with Malone, Hussle and YG.  And for those balling with a smaller budget, Snoop will work out deals with them.

"It may be a situation where a young artist may not have a budget or he may have a little budget," Snoop says. "For example, I may charge an established rapper $100,000 to rap on his song. But for an artist from the West who don't have a budget or have a little budget, I may charge him $1,500 or or say 'you know what I don't even wanna be paid, when you come up holla at me."

A free verse from a legend? I'm sure there is a line forming for young west coast rapper to get in the booth with Uncle Snoop.
