DMX has taken a big step towards getting sober by checking himself into a rehab facility, according to TMZ.

As we previously reported, the 46-year old rapper, born Earl Simmons, caused concern for his inner circle when he suddenly cancelled three concerts this week, citing a "medical emergency."

"It is important right now that he take some time off to focus on his health so that he can be a better father, friend and entertainer," X's manager, Pat Gallo, said in a statement. "We are eternally grateful for the outpouring of concern and support that has poured in. We ask that you please keep X in your prayers as he embraces your support."

We send our best wishes out to Dark Man X as he deals with this latest health crisis.

What was billed as a "luxury music weekend" ended before it could begin as the inaugural Fyre Festival completely flopped.

The event, which was held on a private island in the Bahamas, was the brainchild of Ja Rule and tech entrepreneur Billy McFarland.

Guests were promised an opulent experience with fine dining and first class amenities, but were greeted Thursday, April 27 by "soggy tents, bad food and general disappointment verging on panic," according to the New York Times.

Promised performances by Lil Yachty, Migos, G.O.O.D. Music, Major Lazer and Blink 182 never came to fruition.

“We are extremely disappointed in the way the events unfolded yesterday with the Fyre Festival. We offer a heartfelt apology to all who traveled to our country for this event," the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism said in a statement on Friday.

Organizers of the event were apologetic in their statement.

“Fyre Festival set out to provide a once-in-a-lifetime musical experience on the Islands of the Exumas. Due to circumstances out of our control, the physical infrastructure was not in place on time and we are unable to fulfill on that vision safely and enjoyably for our guests. At this time, we are working tirelessly to get flights scheduled and get everyone off of Great Exuma and home safely as quickly as we can. We are working to place everyone on complimentary charters back to Miami today; this process has commenced and the comfort and safety of our guests is our top priority.”

The event has since been postponed indefinitely.

Troy Ave has made it quite clear that he has severed ties with former BSB Records recording artist Young Lito.

At the center of their beef is the May 2016 shooting at Irving Plaza in New York City. Ronald "BSB Banga" McPhatter was killed.

Troy was wounded in both legs and says Lito didn't offer any help during the ordeal, leaving him and Banga on their own.

Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson will be a constant fixture on your television screen for the foreseeable future.

His new variety show titled "50 Central" has just gotten the green light from BET for 24 episodes, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The show will feature musical guests, comedy sketches, hidden camera pranks and A-list celebrities. All of the talent will be handpicked by 50 himself.

It is being produced by G-Unit Film & Television in partnership with Back Roads Entertainment with Jackson, Stephen J. Savva, Colby Gaines and Riley Robbins serving as exec producers and Michael A. Blum serving as co-exec producer.

"You are gonna love this," he captioned an Instagram photo.

In addition to this new variety show, fans can look forward to the fourth season of the 50 Cent-executive produced crime drama "Power," coming June 25 on STARZ, as well as two new shows coming to Crackle; "The Oath" and "RPM."
