Move over Michael Jackson, Eminem is now the most popular artist on Facebook; alive or dead.

AOL News reports that the Detroit lyricist officially claimed the title over the weekend when he surpassed the King of Pop with the most likes on the social networking site. As of press time Em has 30,339,050 likes, while MJ has 29,889,0268.

Last month, the Detroit bred superstar made headlines after he exceeded Lady Gaga’s stats on Facebook. She is currently in second place with 30,150,676 likes. This battle is sure to be ongoing, as both Gaga and Jackson are known to have very supportive fanbases.

In related news, Em’s third solo album for Interscope, The Eminem Show, was recently certified diamond by the the Recording Institute Association of America (RIAA). This isn’t the first time he shipped over 10,000,000 copies of one of his discs. 2001’s The Marshall Mathers LP also earned the Em a diamond plaque.

It was a family affair as G.O.O.D. Music helped Common celebrate his 39th birthday with a surprise party at The Redbury Hotel in Hollywood on Sunday night (March 13). Kanye West and Kid Cudi stuck close by the Chi-town rapper as he blew out the candles on his movie-themed cake inscribed with “Happy Born Day Rash.” The birthday boy mingled with actors Meagan Good and Erik Fellows before heading over to a nearby bowling alley to keep the celebration going until the early hours of Monday.

In related news, Kanye is scheduled to perform on March 19 at VEVO’s Power Station during the SXSW Film Conference and Festival in Austin, Texas.

Lil Boosie’s Mom Urges Fans for Support

While Lil Boosie sits behind bars and awaits trial on first degree murder charges, his mother, Connie Hatch released a video online today (March 14), asking fans for their help.

As XXLMag.com previously reported, the Baton Rouge, LA rapper, born Torrence Hatch, was indicted on a first-degree murder charge for his alleged involvement in a shooting incident from last October that left one man dead. That particular charge, in the state of Louisiana, carries a maximum sentence of the death penalty.

In an effort to rally support, Boosie’s family has created a Web site, www.boosiejustice.com, as an outlet for fans to speak out against the charges as well as donate money to his family. “[Lil Boosie] and his family ask that you to please take action now,” the site states. “Let yourself be heard. If you are part of a civil rights organization we want to hear from you.”

Ms. Hatch also sent a message to supporters via Lil Boosie’s latest video “Green Light Special.” “Torrence Hatch is innocent,” she said in the clip [Watch above]. “We want to make sure he gets a fair trial. The site contains info from Torrence attorney and family on how you can help us fight this charge. The charge has placed a huge emotional and financial burden on the family. We need your support.”

Boosie is currently serving a two year sentence for a separate drug and weapons case stemming from a 2008 arrest.

Stay tuned to XXLMag.com as more on the story develops.

Rihanna creates an event no matter where she is. So here we check her out leaving Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica. Ca yesterday (February 13).

Looking a bit buzzed or perhaps tired, the singer showed lots of cleavage as she walked to her vehicle outside one of her favorite restaurants.

What do you think of RiRi's curly do?

12348801685?profile=originalUsher's not too recent past may be coming back to haunt him.

There's a reported sex tape being shopped around Hollywood, featuring the R&B singer and ex wife Tameka Foster.

Having viewed a couple of scenes from the skin flick, TMZ is confirming that it's authentic and that the two are both "givers."

Neither Usher or Tameka have commented since this information leaked. I would imagine Usher is scrambling to stop the tape from coming out. He and Tameka have 2 kids together, plus he has a good image to uphold.

Hard to imagine some porn company won't pay for this though and mass produce it

The UFC Buys Strikeforce [Video]

12348820688?profile=originalVideo After The Jump

Zuffa, the parent company who owns UFC, bought Strikeforce, the UFC's biggest competitor. This isn't their first acquisition, as Zuffa purchased and absorbed Pride Fighting Championships as well as World Extreme Cagefighting. However, the plan is to continue operating as two, separate promotions.

UFC president Dana White did an extensive interview with MMA Fighting's Ariel Helwani on the subject.

White mentions several times that business will continue as usual. That means that Strikeforce's April 9 event will go on without any changes. Much like before the WEC merged with the UFC, fighters won't fight for both promotions, and Strikeforce CEO Scott Coker will continue to run that promotion.

Strikeforce has contracts with Showtime to provide fights. White has mocked Showtime's involvement in MMA, and has contentious relationships with Strikeforce fighters like Paul Daley and Josh Barnett, as well as other employees like commentator Frank Shamrock. Because of that, White says he doubts that he will visit a Strikeforce show any time soon. He also has kept his hard line against co-promoting shows, so don't expect to see Fedor Emelianenko in the Octagon. The Russian superstar only appears at shows co-promoted by his company, M-1, and that stance isn't likely to change.

It's too early to say exactly what this means for MMA's future, but rest assured that it's a game changer. Things changed so quickly that just hours after the story broke, the UFC's official twitter promoted that tickets were on sale for Strikeforce: Diaz vs. Daley.

Jennifer Lopez hit the floor with Pitbull and now she’s got another rapper waiting in the wings. The sexy superstar has enlisted her current favorite MC Lil Wayne for her next single.

The “American Idol” judge revealed that the Young Money boss is featured on the follow-up to her smash “On the Floor.” “My next single I believe will be a song called ‘I’m Into You’ and it’s gonna feature Lil Wayne, so look out for that,” she told fans during a chat for Saturday Night Online.

She went on to share why Weezy took the place of Nas as her favorite rapper. “To me just the things he says and the way he says it is very unique, and I feel like he has a fresh new voice,” she said, previously telling Angie Martinez that she works out to his music. “He might be one of the best out there right now. He might be the best.”

While her seventh studio album Love? is currently slated for April 19, J.Lo says it will likely be released in late May after two or three singles.

Also on the busy diva’s agenda are Spanish versions to her songs from Love? followed by another full-length Spanish album and a greatest hits package. In addition, she is contemplating a world tour for later this year.

When Yelawolf talks about his crew being the best, that's classic hip hop right there.

That's throwing down the gauntlet right off the bat, letting other n*ggas know they really don't want it. Is he right though?

"There might be some underground crews that are coming close, but these dudes don't want it man," Yelawolf says "Artistically and creativlely, we got the hardest crew."

The 2.0 crew of Yelawolf, Slaughterhouse (Royce Da 5'9, Joe Budden, Crooked I, Joell Ortiz) and Eminem are formidable, but there are other really good crews out there.

G-Unit, D-Block, The Diplomats, 1017 Brick Squad, Young Money, Militia, G.O.O.D Music, Square Off are just a few off the top.

What crews do you think could go toe to toe with Yela and company in a battle?

On one side you have billionaire owners guarding their pots of gold like greedy leprechauns. On the flip side there are spoiled NFL players who make way too much money in the first place.

As you may have heard, the owners locked the players out yesterday (February 11) after the two sides failed to agree on a new Collective Bargaining Agreement.

The players then decertified their union, with Drew Brees, Tom Brady, Peyton Manning and 7 others filing a class acition lawsuit.

That these 2 sides couldn't figure out how to split up $9 billion dollars makes you wonder why we're so fascinated with sports in the first place. It's obviously a big money grab with little or no thought given to how the fans feel.

Think I'm wrong? Just wait until the NBA goes through the same thing in July when their CBA expires.

Both sides are blaming each other in this NFL owners vs the players mess

"We know that you want football. You will have football. This will be resolved," the league said in a statement.

The NFL Players Union boss DeMaurice Smith didn't sound as sure.

"I would dare any one of you to pull out any economic indicator that would suggest that the National Football League is falling on hard times," Smith said. "The last 14 days, the National Football League has said, 'Trust us.' But when it came time for verification, they told us it was none of our business."

HipHop-N-More Interview With Chamillionaire

12348816472?profile=original

Grammy award winning & Platinum selling MC Chamillionaire needs no introduction. But when we talk about the term ‘Underrated Rapper’, Chamillionaire is one name which comes to our minds. The Texas rapper has been out of the limelight since a couple of years mainly due to issues with his label Universal Records. But he’s right back on the scene now with his Playlist Poison releases and has immediately grabbed the attention of the Hip Hop world, again.

Now Cham chats with us about his game plan on releasing music in the near future, what exactly he intends to do with Playlist Posion & Major Pain projects, working with other artists, present equation with 50 Cent, his top 5 dead or alive and of course Prince vs. Michael Jackson.

HHNM: Thank you so much for taking out your valuable time for us. Although we try to be as unbiased as possible on Hip Hop N More, you clearly are one of the most liked artists on the blog.

Chamillionaire: Fasho. I appreciate the people that appreciate me.

HHNM: We all know the story now: You are off Universal Records and the ‘Venom’ album is not coming out. In brief, tell us what the future holds for Chamillionaire from now on?

Chamillionaire: People should just expect more material and higher quality material from me. The majors work hard to water down music because that’s what they believe sells. I’m just trying to release music that I honestly think is dope and a lot of it. I’ll be releasing a free download Major Pain 1.5 Mixtape on April 18th and a Major Pain 2 project after that. I’m gonna announce the details about The Playlist Poison album I’m working on later.

HHNM: The Playlist Poison releases have earned good praise from the fans and it’s nice to see a veteran like you working with new artists such as Nipsey Hussle and Big K.R.I.T. Can we expect more collaborations with other freshmen in the future?

Chamillionaire: Yea I have records with some cool artists who I respect musically sitting in my hard drive that are waiting to be released, but I don’t put too much thought into the feature until I’m in the moment. I like to work with people who I respect musically but who also fit the picture I’m trying to paint. Sometimes inspiration will lead you in places you don’t expect. I just feel blessed to have the respect of my peers and to be able to call up people and get them on records. A lot of times that’s not the easiest task when you’re dealing with rappers.

HHNM: You revealed the artwork for the next edition of ‘Major Pain’ during your recent UStream session. Is it going to be another individual mixtape, or a series like ‘Mixtape Messiah’? What exactly can we expect?

Chamillionaire: Major Pain 1.5 will be a traditional mixtape and the Playlist Poison album I’m gonna release later will be more of a full album. The Major Pain series will keep going and I plan to release a bunch of them. I get excited about the process of trying to build new brands and with mixtapes I have been successful in that process a lot of times. I’m not really about trying to explain to people what they can expect. After enough quality music is released I believe the people who have confidence in your brand as an artist will seek anything you put out.

12348816701?profile=original

HHNM: Sounds like a plan. Now that you can’t use ‘Venom’, have you picked an alternative title for your forthcoming album yet? And do you have a time frame in mind when you would want to put it out?

Chamillionaire: No. I don’t have one other than the Playlist Poison album I’m gonna release. I’ll treat that like a proper release and build up to it. So far that one is coming out really dope in my opinion but I’m still pretty early in the process. If any fans have any doubt about the Playlist Poison album I’m gonna release later then just pay attention to all the Playlist Poison records I’m leaking from Chamillionaire.com. When I get enough of them released then I’m sure you will see that I’m in a zone. I think I know what fans want to hear from me and Im glad I don’t have any “I know what’s hot” label execs telling me what to create. They really know how to blow an artistic high. The people that pay attention to what most artists say about their record labels understand what I mean.

HHNM: Definitely. So you recently posted a picture on Facebook of you hanging out with 50 Cent at a Vegas club. Keeping your past not-so-warm relationship with him in mind, what’s the situation like in 2011? As fans, we would like to hear you two on a track together..

Chamillionaire: I have never had any real issues with 50. I think maybe fans and some media tried to make a big deal out of comments he made but I never saw what the big deal was. In person 50 has always been cool. He sat in front of me at the VMAs one time and told me I was gonna win before I did. When I was in New York one time he showed me around his G-Unit offices and I even met his son. I don’t think he would have ever done anything like that if he ever had a real problem with me. We cool but what you saw was just a picture of us hanging out in Vegas. That’s just about it. I went back to my world after that night.

HHNM: Okay. Can you give us your Top 5 rappers, dead or alive? Doesn’t have to be in order.

Chamillionaire: The usual suspects. Pac. Jay-Z. Eminem. Andre 3000. I gotta count UGK as one person. That would probably be my list. Scarface, Nas & Weezy would probably come somewhere next on that list. I know this always debated and people always argue over this stuff but the people I pick are all OG’s in the game and are legends to me. I feel like you can’t be considered the greatest of all time if you haven’t spent a lot of time being on top of the rap game. I like Biggie also and his lyrical ability and wordplay was always ill to me. The only reason I wouldn’t rank him as high is because the subject matter of a lot of his music was kinda dark for me at the time. Death and murder always seemed to be a prominent topic when I would listen to his songs but I could never deny that he was one of the greatest. Unfortunately he didn’t get to live long enough to complete his musical catalog.

HHNM: One last question and this is something we ask everybody we chat with here at Hip Hop N More: Prince or Michael Jackson and why?

Chamillionaire: Michael Jackson because he’s the king of all music. In the world. Period.
