A man suspected of murdering Ryan, 24, and Joshua Johnson, 31, has been taken into custody by the New Orleans Police Department.
According to The Times Picayune, Antoine Edwards, 31, was arrested and charged Thursday, March 9, with two counts of second-degree murder.
Ryan and Joshua, the brothers of actress and producer, Toya Wright, were found shot to death inside a car on July 31, 2016.
Wright, the ex-wife of Lil Wayne and mother of his 18-year old daughter, Reginae Carter, posted a photo on Instagram of her brothers soon after the murders with the caption: "Help me Lord. I will never understand this."
Edwards was identified and picked out of a lineup by several witnesses. His bond was set at $500,000. He is due back in court May 7.

Snoop Dogg's new video for "Lavender" is getting lots of attention for it's unflinching negative view of the police, depiction of President Donald Trump as a clown, and a controversial scene in which the POTUS is assassinated by the Long Beach rapper.
"Fuck the police from a black man's point of view / Spray that shit, say that shit / We right in front of you. Each and every one of you / I'm not gon' tell you niggas what we're gonna do / But whatever you did, put two on it / And put a foot on your neck with a shoe on it," Snoop raps on the track, which is a remix of BADBADNOTGOOD's song of the same name featuring Kaytranada.
Snoop told Billboard that to him the song is "not controversial but real" and gives a "real to the voice of the people who don’t have a voice."
As far as Trump is concerned, the "Gin and Juice" hit maker thinks it's time artists wake up and take a stand.
"I feel like it’s a lot of people making cool records, having fun, partying, but nobody’s dealing with the real issue with this fucking clown as president, and the shit that we dealing with out here, so I wanted to take time out to push pause on a party record and make one of these records for the time being."

Legendary producer DJ Premier worked together on a song with Miguel that they never got the chance to finish. An alternate version titled "Damned" appeared on Miguel's 2015 album, "Wildheart."
Today, Miguel and Premier cut loose an official music video for their version of the song. It's called "2 Lovin U."

For two years the public has been led to believe that 18-year old Mike Brown had committed a strong-armed robbery of a Ferguson, Missouri convenience store moments before he was shot to death by Officer Darren Wilson.

However, new footage from a documentary titled "Strange Fruit" appears to show that the Ferguson Police Department withheld information about the case that proves Brown did not commit a robbery.
At 1:15 in the morning on August 9, 2014, Brown entered Ferguson Market and Liquor. After grabbing something from the beverage cooler the teenager approaches the counter where he appears to hand the men behind it a small bag of weed.
Several employees sniff it's contents and pass it around.
The employees then hand Brown a box of cigarillos in exchange. He starts to walk out of the store, then turns around and hands them back. Most likely to hold onto until later, before leaving.

“There was some type of exchange, for one thing, for another,” Brown's mom, Lesley McSpadden, says in the documentary. "That these people know each other well enough, that this is the relationship that they had."
Brown returned to the store later that afternoon to retrieve the cigarillos. There was a dispute, before Brown forcibly takes them and leaves.
Jay Kanzler, a lawyer for the convenience store denies there was an arrangement between Brown and the employees.
“There was no transaction,” Kanzler told the New York Times. “There was no understanding. No agreement. Those folks didn’t sell him cigarillos for pot. The reason he gave it back is he was walking out the door with unpaid merchandise and they wanted it back.”
Brown was soon confronted by Officer Wilson as he walked down a street with a friend. Wilson, claiming Brown attacked him, fatally shot the unarmed 18-year old.
A Missouri grand jury decided not to indict Wilson. He's since resigned from the police force.

Nicki Minaj released three new songs this week. One of them titled "Regret in Your Tears" is about an ex-lover who didn't appreciate what he had until it was gone.
Some fans of OVO Sound recording artist, PartyNextDoor, automatically assumed he ghostwrote the tune. They started sending him congratulatory tweets. Some of which he clicked the like button on.
