2012 was a big year for Meek Mill. He dropped his debut album Dreams and Nightmares, and established himself as an emcee to look out for in the future.

Rap-Up recently caught up with Meek to get his answers on the highlights of his year, Trinidad James, T.I., his favorite albums of 2012, plans for Christmas, new year's resolution, building his team and more.

Meek named 2 Chainz, Future, Kendrick Lamar to name a few.

While for the most part things have been looking up for the Philly rapper he did get some bad news recently.

Judge Genece Brinkley said Monday the rapper, whose real name is Robert Williams, violated an order restricting his performance scheduling and failing to properly keep in touch with his probation officer.

Meek will not be allowed to tour. travel or perform, except for charity. For a month according to Philly.com.

"You need to get yourself together," Brinkley told Meek during Monday's 2 1/2-hour probation hearing in Common Pleas Court in Philadelphia., "You are going to be home for Christmas and New Year's."

Meek's attorney argued that the judge was preventing the rapper from making a living.

"Robert Williams is on probation, not Meek Mill," said his lawyer Gary Silver. "You are preventing him from earning his livelihood. This isn't like mixtapes being made in the basement of someone's house. This is for real. He has a job that appears to be interesting to a lot of people. He wants to earn a legal living. It just happens to be on a national and international stage."

While making the promotional rounds for his new album Trouble Man: Heavy Is the Head, T.I. stopped in Los Angeles to talk to the L.A. Leakers team of Justin Credible, DJ sourMILK and Fuzz Fantab.

While discussing the album's artwork which depicts the Atlanta rapper holding a gun, Tip said he could care less how fans feel about it as long as they buy the cd.

"One of the main things this album represents is I don't give a f*ck what they think," Tip said. "I don't give a f*ck how they feel. It's my business, it's my art, it's my creative expression. I have a right to do, say and present whatever the f*ck I want to. So if you don't like it sit down and shut the f*ck up. Buy the album, you don't have to look at the artwork. F*ck you, but please buy the album. F*ck you for real, but thank you for buying the album."

Trouble Man: Heavy Is the Head is in stores today.

When Cassidy released his "Condom Style" freestyle over Psy's "Gangnam Style" instrumental, he preached about the dangers of having unprotected sex. Some people laughed at the song. Fellow Philly emcee Meek Mill called it "the worst song in the history of rapping."

Still Cass was undeterred by the naysayers.

"If 'Condom Style' made at lease 1 man strap up, & potentially saved at lease 1 person from getting a STD.. The song served its purpose," Cass wrote on Twitter. "It was never a song that everybody in the world liked! But 'Condom Style' is on ovr 400,000 sites! & has ovr 300,000 views on YouTube alrdy!"

Last night The Hustla announced that he had secured an endorsement deal because of the song.

We can assume the deal is with a condom company. No word on which one at this point. We'll keep you updated.

DJ Pauly D is weighing his options on his next television move. The popular DJ is said to looking at two offers. He can return to MTV for a second season of "The Pauly D Project" for a lot of cash or he can switch to the E! Network for a new show that will pay him even more bucks according to TMZ.

Pauly has been with MTV since 2009 when Jersey Shore made its debut on the network, but E! is said to be making a very strong push to pull the G-Note Records artist away.
