Video After The Jump Toby Keith better start working on that apology statement about now. Asian watchdog groups are blasting the country crooner over an allegedly racist gesture made during an impromptu performance with Will Smith and Wyclef Jean at the Nobel Peace Prize concerts in Norway last week. Let's go to the YouTube video. .. When Big Willie raps the word "yellow" about 26 seconds into the song, Keith is seen briefly pulling back his eyes in a slant-eyed expression that only Miley Cyrus apologists might find amusing. And while the gesture went unremarked about at the time, several Asian organizations have since called out the "Courtesy of the Red, White & Blue" singer. "Mr. Keith embarrassed himself with his impromptu pantomime to Will Smith’s song after the Noble Peace Prize concert in Oslo last week," says a spokesman for the Asian American Justice Center. "While some just shook their heads in disbelief, it is important to let Mr. Keith know his gesture was offensive and that we hope he understands why it was so inappropriate." "By doing this, he is telling his Asian fans, 'You don't matter, you're not on my radar,' " adds a rep from the Media Action Network for Asians. Keith's camp could not immediately be reached for comment, but previously told TMZ that "nobody at the party thought Toby was out of line." So that makes it OK? The album made it into the Billboard top 10, and Gucc wanted to thank all the fans for their support and also apologize for not being on the outside to perform for them. Gucci also revealed that he already has his next album done and as soon as his jail term is over, he's going to work on yet another LP. Both projects are slated for 2010.
"I got an album coming out April 2010," Gucci said. "It's called The State vs. Radric Davis: The Appeal," he said. "Seventeen tracks. It's already recorded, getting mixed and mastered as we speak. I'm dropping a trilogy with The State vs. Radric Davis. When I get out, I'll be working on the third part to the trilogy. The final [will be called] The State vs. Radric Davis: The Verdict. That'll be [in stores] December of 2010." Gucci Mane was sentenced to 12 months in jail for a probation violation last month. Gucci's lawyer Dwight L. CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Cincinnati Bengals receiver Chris Henry is "battling for his life" after falling out of the back of a pickup truck Wednesday during what police described as a domestic dispute with his fiancee. FOXSports.com reported Henry was on life support, according to a source. Henry was found in the road about eight miles north of downtown Charlotte "apparently suffering life-threatening injuries," according to Charlotte-Mecklenburg police. Police spokesman Robert Fey said officers were stationed near the 26-year-old Henry's hospital room. He had no information on Henry's condition, but said he was alive. "We ask everyone to pray for Chris," agent Andy Simms of PlayersRep Sports said in a statement. "We also ask that you respect the privacy of Chris' family. Chris is indeed battling for his life tonight, and our thoughts and prayers [are] with him during this extremely difficult time." Police said a dispute began at a home just before noon and Henry jumped into the bed of the pickup truck as his fiancee -- whom they did not identify by name -- was driving away from the residence. "The domestic situation continued between the operator and Mr. Henry," the police said in a statement. "At some point while she was driving, Mr. Henry came out of the back of the vehicle." Henry was found on a residential street about a half mile from the home when police were called to the scene. Fey wouldn't identify the woman and said no charges would be filed Wednesday. Henry is engaged to Loleini Tonga, and the couple has been raising three children. Tonga's MySpace page identifies herself as "Mrs. C. Henry" and has a picture of her next to a person who appears to be Henry. She also has a post from Tuesday talking about buying wedding rings. Neighbor Karen Clanton said the Tonga family lives in the house where the police say the incident began, adding that she didn't witness it and that "they're nice folks." No one answered the door Wednesday night at the two-story home in the modest neighborhood. A limousine was parked in the long driveway, and there were tire tracks on the front lawn. Henry was away from the team after breaking his left forearm during a win over Baltimore on Nov. 8. He had surgery and was placed on season-ending injured reserve following the game. Charlotte is home to his fiancee's parents. Team spokesman Jack Brennan said he had little information other than Henry was badly hurt. "We are aware he was in an accident and that his injuries are very serious," Brennan said. "We are obviously staying in touch with the situation and are ready to offer whatever assistance we can." Henry is in the final year of his contract with the Bengals, who let him go after his fifth arrest following the 2007 season. Owner Mike Brown then brought him back a few months later, signing him to a two-year deal. Henry had stayed out of trouble since his return, turning into a feel-good story that got fans rooting for him. In an interview with The Cincinnati Enquirer in October, Henry credited his fiancee for helping him straighten out his life, saying, "She's been a big help. She's been right here with me and going through things and helping out on my side. We have the kids, and she has my back with everything I've needed." From the start, his career has been sidetracked by off-the-field problems. Henry repeatedly got in trouble at West Virginia, where former Mountaineers coach Rich Rodriguez told him that he was an embarrassment to himself and the program. Most teams to shied away from Henry in the 2005 draft. Cincinnati was the only one that brought him in for a visit, and warned him that he had to stay out of trouble if he was going to make it in the NFL. Then, the Bengals drafted him in the third round. His ability to run past defenders made him an integral part of the Bengals' run to the playoffs in 2005. He caught Carson Palmer's only pass in a playoff loss to Pittsburgh -- both of them were hurt on the play. His rookie season also marked the beginning of his problems in the NFL. He was arrested for marijuana possession in December 2005, and again on a weapons charge a month later in Florida. He was arrested four times in all, drawing repeated suspensions -- two games in 2006, the first half of the 2007 season -- for violating the league's conduct policy. When he was arrested for a fifth time after the 2007 season, the Bengals released Henry. Over the objection of coach Marvin Lewis, Brown changed his mind and gave Henry another chance, offering a two-year contract before the 2008 season began. After serving a four-game suspension to start the 2008 season, he returned and caught 19 passes in the last 12 games, becoming an afterthought in the offense. He spent the offseason getting in shape and working out so he could become a top receiver again. He impressed coaches and teammates with his newfound determination to resurrect his career. Before the start of the season, he got a tattoo that said "Blessed" below his left ear, a reminder that he's gotten plenty of extra chances. "I don't live the way I did in the past," Henry said, in an interview with The Associated Press during training camp. "I kind of plan my days out and take it one day at a time and stay away from the wrong people. I'm not partying anymore. I'm just focused on football right now and my family. I don't associate with the same people. I've completely changed everything." A thigh injury limited him early in the season. He had 12 catches for 236 yards and a pair of touchdowns before he broke his arm. ESPN Follow Me @Twitter.com/ChasinMoPaper

The seemingly never-ending delays may have come to an end, at least for those willing to traverse file-sharing sites. More tracks from Lil Wayne's long-awaited rock 'n' roll effort "Rebirth" have leaked, and industry trade Billboard is reporting that online retailer Amazon.com may have had a hand in getting the album in the hands of the as-yet-unknown culprit. About 500 copies of the album, writes the magazine, were shipped to fans who had pre-ordered the record, which had most recently been scheduled to be released on Dec. 21. Universal Music Group has repeatedly delayed the Cash Money / Universal Motown effort since last spring, and it now set to finally be released on Feb. 1. Billboard writes that about 1 million copies of the album have been manufactured, and about a third of those have been sent to retail accounts. Representatives for the Universal Music Group and Amazon.com did not respond to requests for comment. Billboard's report follows the high-profile leak this morning of the track "Drop the World," which features Eminem. If true, Lil Wayne's "Rebirth" would not be the first album to hit the Web as the result of an Internet retailer. Earlier this year, Rolling Stone reported that Kelly Clarkson's "All I Ever Wanted" had made its way to the Web due to an error with the Norwegian outpost of Apple's iTunes store. Lil Wayne is the last artist to sell more than 1 million copies of an album in a week, a feat accomplished by his "Tha Carter III," when it debuted last year. While the initial tracks released and leaked from "Rebirth" have failed to capture the sort of attention of his rap efforts, his star power isn't necessarily in doubt. To date, "Tha Carter III" has sold more than 3.3 million copies in the U.S., according to Nielsen SoundScan. The first single to emerge from "Rebirth" was "Prom Queen," which Billboard notes has sold 725,000 copies. More recently, the album's "On Fire" and "Da Da Da" were officially released. "On Fire" has yet to penetrate any major charts, but Billboard reports that it has sold 6,000 downloads since its Dec. 6 release. If Universal does not bump up the release of "Rebirth," it will be arriving in stores just as Lil Wayne is expected to receive a year-long prison sentence. While it was known that the artist's sentencing would occur in February, the hearing is now officially set for Feb. 9, according to multiple reports. Source: L.A. Atlanta rap star T.I. is expected to be moved to a halfway house shortly after the first of the year as he nears the end of his federal prison sentence for illegal firearms possession and for possessing a gun as a convicted felon, officials confirmed Tuesday. T.I., whose real name is Clifford Harris Jr., began serving his sentence of a year and a day at a low-security prison in Arkansas last May. He is expected to be released from Bureau of Prisons custody on March 23, after serving 85 percent of his sentence. Bureau of Prisons spokesman Edmond Ross said it was customary for an inmate to transition from prison to freedom via a halfway house if there is no danger to the community and if there is space at a facility near where he is to live after his prison time. Usually that process begins when there are 18 months remaining on a sentence, “but in this case it would have to start sooner. It’s not uncommon for inmates to be placed in community corrections for the last portion of their confinement to help with his transition.” Harris also could spend the final month of his sentenced confined to his house, Ross said. Harris pleaded guilty in 2008 to possessing two silencers, three machine guns, a rifle and six handguns. In total, federal officers found 24 handguns, machine guns and rifles in Harris' Range Rover and three machine guns at his house in College Park. Harris was convicted in Cobb County in 1998 for possessing cocaine with intent to distribute -- he also pleaded guilty to possession of a firearms by a felon Federal agents targeted Harris in 2007 after they arrested his body guard, who bought guns from undercover agents. He said the three machine guns and two silencers were for Harris. Shortly after the bodyguard arrest, Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms agents arrested T.I. when he took delivery of the weapons from the bodyguard. The arrest took place just hours before, and blocks away from where Harris was to receive two awards at the 2007 BET Hip-Hop Awards in Atlanta. As part of his plea deal, Harris agreed to spend 1,500 hours talking to at-risk children and teens; including 1,000 due before prison. After he is released, Harris has a year on house arrest and two more on probation. The government fined him $100,000. Source: Atlanta Journal Constitution Follow Me @Twitter.com/ChasinMoPaper

Neighbors - and the postman - have complained about the noise Caroline Cartwright and husband Steve make during sex. A British woman is in trouble for enjoying sex a little too much. Caroline Cartwright, 48, has pleaded guilty to anti-social behavior for ignoring a noise abatement notice from the courts. In fact, she admits to violating a civil order three different times. The order had banned Caroline and husband Steve from "shouting, screaming or vocalization at such a level as to be a statutory nuisance," according to the BBC. The Cartwrights live in Washington, south of Newscastle in northeast England. Neighbors - and even the postman - have complained about the noise, according to the BBC and other reports. "The noise sounds like they are both in considerable pain," neighbor Rachel O'Connor testified. "I cannot describe the noise. I have never ever heard anything like it." Cartwright argued that she was unable to control the noise but had tried to "minimize the situation" by having sex in the morning, the Press Association reports. According to the BBC, World Health Organization guidelines say 30 decibels is enough to cause sleep disturbance. The BBC reports that the Sunderland City Council told the court they had recorded noise levels of 47 decibels at the Cartwrights - using equipment installed in a neighbor's house. Caroline Cartwright will be sentenced on January 18. Source: NY Daily News Follow Me @Twitter.com/ChasinMoPaper
