Suge Knight could be facing a very long time in prison after a hit and run accident left one man dead on Thursday, January 29, in Compton, California.
TMZ reports that Knight showed up on the set of a movie where Ice Cube and Dr. Dre were with a man named Terry Carter. Security asked Suge to leave and a fight broke out between Knight and two other men. Knight hopped back in his car, gunned it in reverse and hit Carter, who was trying to get to the passenger side of the car.
Knight's car ran over Carter, but instead of stopping, the music executive fled the scene. Two other men were also hit. One is identified as Cle "Bone" Sloane. The third victim's name hasn't been released.
Carter died at the scene from his injuries. Sloane and the other victim were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Cle "Boane"Sloane
Sloane is a well known former member of the Athens Park Bloods. He's appeared in the movies Training Day, Broklyn's Finest and Tears of the Sun. He also directed the 2005 documentary Bastards of the Party.
It's not know what movie was being filmed, but both Cube and Dre have been heavily involved in the upcoming NWA biopic, which has been filming in Compton and surrounding areas.
According to TMZ, Knight's lawyer is arranging for his client to turn himself into to the sheriff's department. He could be facing manslaughter charges or be let off the hook because he was in fear for his life when he fled.

**UPDATE** January 30
Suge Knight turned himself into authorities Friday morning, January 30, around 3 a.m.
TMZ reports that the former Death Row Records CEO was actually involved in two fights on Thursday. One took place on the movie set. The other occurred in the parking lot of a nearby restaurant.
According to witnesses, Suge got into his car during the second fight and intentionally tried to hit one of the men he was fighting with. Knight reportedly backed his car up once, then a second time.
He's been charged with murder. His bail is set at $2 million.

"I need to go to jail," Kyle "Quick" Norman told an Atlanta cop who spotted him running down a sidewalk as he responded to a domestic abuse call on Friday, January 29. The police officer was more than happy to oblige.
Norman, 38, reportedly attacked his fiancee this morning after she confronted him about his drinking, according to The Atlanta Journal Constitution.
The singer told the unidentified woman "she was gonna die today," before brutally beating her.
Norman allegedly punched her, choked her with a scarf that she had around her neck, shoved her engagement ring down her throat, took her keys and broke her cell phone.
The woman calmed Norman down by agreeing with everything he was saying. When he walked away she grabbed her keys and cell phone and bolted from the condo. She was able to wake a neighbor and call police around 5 a.m.
In an email sent to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution an officer wrote that he responded to “a fight call between an engaged couple. When I arrived, I was met by the victim who was visibly shaken.”
The victim was taken to Atlanta Medical Center with a knot the size of a golf ball on her forehead, a blood clot in her right eye and a cut on her nose.
Norman was hauled off to Fulton County Jail on a charge of aggravated assault. He will be held there at least until Friday, January 30, when he will face a judge.
“There’s a bench warrant for criminal trespassing – damage which carries at $1,000 surety bond but he can’t leave until he is seen by a judge tomorrow morning at 11 a.m.,” Fulton County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Tracy Flanagan told The AJC in an email.

Birdman can easily end his legal battle with Lil Wayne. All he has to do is pay Weezy the money he's owed and the rapper's argument that his contract has been breached will no longer be valid, according to TMZ.
As we reported yesterday, Wayne is owed a total of $10 million for the recording of Tha Carter V. He was supposed to receive an $8 million advance when he began recording the album and an additional $2 million upon completion.
Wayne fulfilled his obligation, but was never paid a dime by Cash Money Records.
TMZ reports that the $51 million is asking for in his lawsuit against Cash Money is to cover the debt as well as future losses.
Universal, Cash Money's distributor has gotten involved. They're putting pressure on Birdman to cough up the money and end this dispute. Whether he will or not remains to be seen. Previous negotiations between lawyers for the two sides broke down, leaving Wayne no choice but to seek a legal remedy.

The first shot in Lil Wayne's legal battle to get out of his Cash Money Records contract has been fired.
TMZ reports that as promised Wayne has filed a lawsuit claiming breach of contract. The suit claims that Cash Money violated the deal in three ways.
1. Not paying Wayne an $8 million advance when he began recording Tha Carter V in December 2013.
2. Failing to pay Wayne an additional $2 million upon completion of the album a year later.
3. Refusing to release the album.
Wayne says he hasn't received a dime of what's owed to him. He's asking a judge to award him $51 million, release him from his contract and declare that he's the joint copyright holder of all the artist recordings under his Young Money label. That would include the works of Tyga, Nicki Minaj, Drake and all other acts he signed.
Birdman's reason for not releasing Tha Carter V has been that he believes there is more behind the scenes work that needs to be done first.
Sources close to Wayne told TMZ that at this point the only way it will be released is if he is paid what he's due.

After a legal battle with Tamika Fuller, the mother of his one-year old daughter, Cai, Ludacris has been granted primary physical custody of the child.
TMZ reports that Fuller attempted to throw up roadblocks claiming Luda, real name Christopher Bridges, didn't want her to have the baby when he found out she was pregnant and offered her $10,000 to have an abortion.
The decision was handed down Monday, January 27, after a family court judge weighed all of the testimony and a report by an independent expert, ultimately deciding to grant Ludacris' request custody.
"After review of all the evidence, the testimony of the witnesses, the report of the guardian ad litem, and the claims made throughout this entire case, I am gratified that the judge found me to be the most fit and proper parent to have primary physical custody of our beautiful daughter," the 37-year old entertainer told PEOPLE.
Luda also has a 13-year old daughter, Karma, from a previous relationship.
The last couple of months have been a whirlwind for the rapper. In December he married longtime girlfriend Eudoxie Mbouguiyengue and released his Burning Bridges EP. The next few months promise to be just as hectic as he releases his long awaited Ludaversal album on March 31. That will be followed closely by the nationwide opening of the seventh installment of the Fast and Furious movie franchise on April 3.
