Mumford and Sons band member Ben Lovett and Global Citizen co-founder and CEO Hugh Evans have brainstormed to come up with an idea to confront injustice internationally, raise awareness in an effort to eradicate extreme poverty and fight climate change.
Billboard reports that an album titled "Metamorphoses," which will include original songs from Mumford and Sons, Kanye West, the National and Elie Goulding will be released in the fall.
Mumford and Sons
"Metamorphoses has the potential to break down our preconceptions of the voices of creativity, what different people around the world are thinking and who has the right to be heard. In my own life, I've experienced people trying to define me and put me in boxes and categories. Through collaboration we can show people how those lines can be blurred and are ultimately redundant," said Lovett in a statement. "The artists involved in this project are some of the most genuine artists the world has to offer. Artists like Kanye West, and The National are doing something globally important that is touching people down to their DNA. And these masterfully creative people are going to be interpreting incredible submissions from people across the globe. It has been a joy reading all of the submissions we received over the past six months. I'm truly excited to see what we will create together."
So excited @EllieGoulding, @MumfordAndSons, & @kanyewest r standing w/ millions of @GlblCtzn's 2 end extreme poverty https://t.co/amdgyvywON
— Hugh Evans (@Hughcevans) March 15, 2016
The participating artists will draw inspiration from original poems, stories and reflections told by people from around the globe to create lyrics for the project's songs.
Hugh Evans
"We are so excited that Ellie Goulding, Mumford & Sons, The National and Kanye West are standing with millions of Global Citizens around the world in the fight to end extreme poverty by 2030," Evans said. "We've crowd-sourced the lyrics from every corner of the world, making Metamorphoses a truly global tribute to our collective responsibility to tackle these issues not just as individuals, but as a movement of Global Citizens."
Those interested have until March 31 to submit their original lyrical contributions here https://www.globalcitizen.org/en/info/metamorphoses/

VERSE 1
You know how I love you girl
Do it with a passion
Know I got in trouble for an Instagram caption
Looking for some action
Sick with the fashion
Million-dollar deals and you know I'm finna cash in
Yeah I might be late but it's still better than never
Know you need your space we still better together
Trillion dollar face you still kill them whenever
I step up in the place in that Black Means leather
Japanese styling
You know I be wilding
Pages of the Forbes and you know they profiling
Take you to an Island
Go on get your sun on
Chill with me
Get a massage with your bun on
Hair up, body catching rays in the heat
Beach bunny
You love the cash like Street money
They love my new song but they say the beat's funny
I don't need a beat though
We be in that heat though, chillin
HOOK
And we reign in the Sun
And our good times are second to none
We are the ones, the ones
We are the wonderful ones
And we reign in the Sun
And our good times are second to none
We are the ones, the ones
We are the wonderful ones
VERSE 2
Swore that my next girl be different from my ex one
Look beyond the flaws and you still find perfection
I'll be your protection
Way out in the deep seas
You don't need a life vest long as you keep me close to your heart
We be real smooth sailing
Go on let that summer dress fly over the railing
Loyal like a K-9, you know I'm worth the wait
Treat you like a queen so you know I'm worth the hate
Know they jealous
Know they see us living good
Came up from that one bedroom apartment in the hood
Uptown
Big dreams now we made it
Grilling now
Bottom 6 gold plated
Shining when I'm smiling it's the history I created
Living like a boss'll make these haters aggravated
So we stunting harder stacking dollars to the ceiling
We out in Jamaica though
What a good feeling we chillin
HOOK
And we reign in the Sun
And our good times are second to none
We are the ones, the ones
We are the wonderful ones
And we reign in the Sun
And our good times are second to none
We are the ones, the ones
We are the wonderful ones
BRIDGE
Good ain't enough when you know that you're the greatest
We be in the back seat thinking how we made it
Love to see your face when I wake up in the morning
You're mine, you're mine
You're mine, you're mine
HOOK
So we reign in the Sun
And our good times are second to none
We are the ones, the ones
We are the wonderful ones
And we reign in the Sun
And our good times are second to none
We are the ones, the ones
We are the wonderful ones

Michael Jackson's estate has agreed to sell it's 50 percent share of Sony/ATV Music Publishing for $750 million to Sony, giving the company sole ownership of works by Taylor Swift, Eminem, The Beatles, 50 Cent, Rihanna, Willie Nelson, Snoop Dogg, Stevie Nicks, Santana, the Rolling Stones, LL Cool J, Mary J. Blige, R. Kelly, Lady Gaga, Jay Z, Coldplay and many others.
The joint venture between Jackson and Sony began 21 years ago.
Jackson's estate will retain the rights to his masters, as well as the 10 percent interest it holds in EMI Music Publishing, as well as Mijac Music, the publishing company that owns the songs written by Jackson as well as songs written by other writers, according to Billboard.
"This transaction further allows us to continue our efforts of maximizing the value of Michael's Estate for the benefit of his children," Jackson estate co-executors John Branca and John McClain said in a statement. "It also further validates Michael's foresight and genius in investing in music publishing. His ATV catalogue, purchased in 1985 for a net acquisition cost of $41.5 million, was the cornerstone of the joint venture and, as evidenced by the value of this transaction, is considered one of the smartest investments in music history."
When Jackson passed away in 2009, he was $500 million in debt. Posthumous sales of his music and merchandise have since shot through the roof. Coupled with proceeds from this deal with Sony, the estate is now in the black.
Michael's three children, Paris, Blanket and Prince Jackson, have trusts that assure they will be well taken care of financially.

Lil Wayne's lawyer, Michael B. Kramer, filed a lawsuit against his client in Manhattan federal court on Monday, March 14, alleging he's owed close to $300,000 in unpaid legal fees.
According to the New York Daily News, Wayne's bill shot up to $350,000 in December 2015. At that time he and Kramer worked out a payment plan.
The rapper would pay $50,000 at once, followed by $20,000 a month until the debt was paid in full.
Kramer says he received the December and January payments on time, but hasn't seen a dime from the "A Milli" hit maker since.
This is the second major lawsuit Wayne has been hit with within the last 5 months by lawyers working on his behalf.
As we previously reported, the law firm of Garbett, Allen & Roza, sued him for $80,682.45 in October 2015, for fees accumulated while they defended him against a lawsuit filed by private jet company, Signature Group.
Wayne lost that case and was ordered in September to pay Signature $2 million.

Former Chappelle's Show actor/comedian Donnell Rawlings, best known for playing Ashy Larry, got into a brawl on Sunday, March 13, at Little Pete's restaurant in Philadelphia over a lousy $12 unpaid tab.
Rawlings was accused by restaurant staff of trying to skip out on the bill. He says he simply stepped outside to smoke a cigarette.
A fistfight soon broke out between the comedian and two other dudes, followed by an argument with a waitress.
After cops arrived Rawlings paid his tab and left a $60 tip. Listen to his hilarious conversation with The Breakfast Club about the incident and watch the fight footage above.
Walking out on a tap and leaving your bag inside is not the action of someone who's trying to skip there bill! #duh #whodoesthat

Fearlessly confronting the negative comments thrown their way, Elite Society member, Don Dale collaborates with fuji artist Omo Yeye on "African Akata." With "akata" meaning African American, the new joint features special African flare with the Nigerian Yoruba language insinuated together with English that will catch anyone's attention.
The music elaborates the lifestyle of being a Nigerian youth growing up in the United States, trying to figure out where they fit within both cultures. This music encourages people to not focus on haters but to instead grind hard and embrace their culture. It seems like we will be exploring more with Don Dale's unique sound, schooling us on what the "African Akata" life is like through his perspective.

Hudson Mohawke took to his Twitter account over the weekend to air out Kanye West and Drake for allegedly not paying him for production he's done for them. At one point he threatened to leak unreleased songs from the pair.
“Literally about to release zip of kanye and drake songs I’ve done that I got [zero] for,” he wrote. “Mannn so tired of making careers for ppl who take my work n add 1 hi hat n take all the credit…exhausting shit.

Mohawke did extensive work for West on the album's "Yeezus" and "The Life of Pablo." He's credited with production on "I Am a God," "Blood on the Leaves," "Famous," "Freestyle 4," "Waves," and "FML."
He produced "Connect" off of Drake's 2013 album, "Nothing Was the Same."
In the end, Mohawke, decided the legal headaches he would have to deal with for letting the music of two of hip hop's biggest artists go without permission would be a really bad move for his career and pocketbook.
But he did throw a couple more darts before he was done.
I love yous too much to put myself into a huge legal battle for no reason n prevent me releasing my own music
