Lil Wayne's lawyer, Michael B. Kramer, filed a lawsuit against his client in Manhattan federal court on Monday, March 14, alleging he's owed close to $300,000 in unpaid legal fees.
According to the New York Daily News, Wayne's bill shot up to $350,000 in December 2015. At that time he and Kramer worked out a payment plan.
The rapper would pay $50,000 at once, followed by $20,000 a month until the debt was paid in full.
Kramer says he received the December and January payments on time, but hasn't seen a dime from the "A Milli" hit maker since.
This is the second major lawsuit Wayne has been hit with within the last 5 months by lawyers working on his behalf.
As we previously reported, the law firm of Garbett, Allen & Roza, sued him for $80,682.45 in October 2015, for fees accumulated while they defended him against a lawsuit filed by private jet company, Signature Group.
Wayne lost that case and was ordered in September to pay Signature $2 million.
