More details are coming in about the arrest of Desiigner and four of his friends in New York City on Friday morning, September 9.
TMZ is reporting that in addition to the OxyContin found during a search of the SUV they were in, police also found methadone and illegal steroids.
Methadone is an opiod commonly used to treat people addicted to heroin, Dilaudid and OxyContin by reducing drug cravings and preventing opiod withdrawals. It can also be addictive and lead to overdoses or death if abused.
There are many different types of steroids. Many of which are used by doctors to treat a variety of ailments.
However, anabolic steroids are often abused by athletes to increase performance and build muscle. For that reason they are banned in almost every sport.
It's not known what type or types of steroids were found when Desiigner was taken into custody.
As we previously reported, the 19-year old Brooklyn rapper, born Sidney Selby III, was charged with menacing for allegedly pointing a gun at another driver during a road rage incident and felony criminal possession of a loaded weapon.
He and the other four individuals also face felony charges of criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of drugs with intent to sell.

In addition to the new project, Blac chopped it up with DJ Envy, Charlamagne Tha God and Angela Yee about getting shot three times, being prepared to get robbed, getting Shy Glizzy's chain back, Yo Gotti actually liking Young Dolph despite the tension, being done with rap beef because it costs you money, stealing a Twix bar from Walmart, contemplating suicide after his brother was killed, shouts out his dead beat dad, talks the transgender person that tried to slander him, trying to be a motivation to others, gives the hosts $3000.

Desiigner is currently in police custody facing several charges.
TMZ reports that the 19-year old G.O.O.D. Music artist, born Sidney Selby III, was in an SUV with four other people in New York City.
They got into a road rage incident with another car. The driver of the other vehicle claims the "Timmy Turner" rapper pointed a gun at him.
The driver jotted down the SUV's license plate number and called the police.
Cops spotted and pulled over the SUV. During a subsequent search, they allegedly found a large quantity of Oxycontin and other drugs in the center console.
Police arrested all five of the people in the SUV and charged them with two felonies; criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of drugs with intent to sell,
Desiigner was also charged with menacing for allegedly pointing the gun and felony criminal possession of a loaded weapon

Zaytoven stopped by VladTV to talk about the rumors surrounding Gucci Mane being a clone, what it's like being around Gucci Mane, the artists Gucci has helped put on and much more. Zaytoven told us that both he and Gucci Mane sat back and laughed at the clone rumor, and he added, "It's a real good Marketing Strategy it's making people really pay attention... its intriguing people... we both laughed at it." Zaytoven said Gucci Mane is using the clone theory to his advantage and playing on the fact that he's new and improved.
Vlad also brought up that Charlamagne The God coined Gucci Mane the "boogie man of hip-hop" and Zaytoven agreed, "I think that's what makes Gucci Mane so special, you got a lot of rappers talking about this and that... but Gucci is that guy that when you see him or be around him, he really is that guy... he's an intimidating guy." Gucci's larger than life demeanor and 6'4 physic play a big part in why he would be considered the boogie man of hip-hop. In a cutback to a throwback clip of French Montana talking about hanging with Gucci Mane, French explained Gucci Mane went at someone in front of him so bad French had to leave the room. Zaytoven laughed and said that's what Gucci Mane does.
Zaytoven and Vlad also spoke about Gucci Mane's ear for talent and all the artists he's put on including, Young Thug, Nicki Minaj, French Montana, OJ Da Juiceman, Waka Flocka, Young Scooter, Migos, and many more. "Even if he didn't put you on he was very influential in a lot of guys careers... he done put video guys on, producers..." Zaytoven is just as involved with putting artists on as Gucci is because Gucci trusts his ear. "If he sees me working with like Migos... he automatically gonna say Zay bring them up here..."
