No question, one of the hottest rappers repping New York right now is Vado. Straight out of Harlem, he talks about how he became affiliated with Cam'Ron and the origin of the slang "slime".

"When I was locked up, I'd tell a n*gga like what up slime? He like 'you a funny n*gga'. N*ggas know it's all love though. I been meaning to explain to the world what "slime" is. Slime stand for Street Life Intelligence and Money Is Everything, bottom line. So I say sliiiiime, slimettes, slime screw, slime commitee."

It seems as if Vado just emerged from out of nowhere. His buzz has picked up speed since getting down with Cam'Ron's U.N. But Vado explains that he was grinding way before that, putting in work with Young Money artist, Jae Millz.

"Shout out to Jae Millz, that's like my brother, my slime partner. You know, regular sh*t, we grew up together. So I came in with him, he was doing his thing. Automatically he came to me, he was on mad cyphers killin' it. We was battling n*ggas on that sh*t. So that was kinda like my breakthrough as far as showing people I could spit."

"As far as my association with U.N./Dipset, it's just a big round table. Cam definitely broght me out at Summer Jam, he didn't have to do that. That n*gga believe in me and that's one thing he know talent. He let me do me in the booth. He don't tell me how to rap, format, nothing, he just let me go off."

Be on the lookout for Vado's 'Slime Flu' mixtape coming soon.

When French Montana and Waka Flocka Flame hit the building, expect the groupies to sniff them out and act accordingly.

Natalie Nunn from season 4 of the Oxygen reality show 'Bad Girls Club' along with Amber from Season 3 hit up the studio where the two rappers were holding court with their respective teams.

As usual, Natalie was talking mad trash about being the baddest bitch around. She and Amber engaged in some slore dialogue about each other's private parts. Both indicating that the other was the bigger tramp.

French was out in L.A. for a Waka Flocka video shoot. People try to hate, but that boy Waka is caking up right now.

Montana said his new mixtape 'Mac and Cheese 3' is coming out in 3 weeks.

That wave Max-B has been riding just turned into a tsunami.

The incarcerated rapper received some much needed good news on Wednesday (May 26) as a judge ruled Jim Jones no longer has control of his publishing or recording rights.

XXL is reporting that the judge ruled Max has completed obligations under both his 2005 recording contract and 2007 publishing deals. Max was once a part of Jones' Byrd Gang before the two had a falling out.

Now Max can finally release his debut album 'Vigilante Season'.

Amalgam Digital will be putting the album out on it's indie label although the release date has not been set.

Max also got good news recently regarding his prison sentence for his role in a 2005 robbery that left one man dead. He was granted an appeal in the case and is waiting a trial date.

Ballerstatus Reports Sizzurp is a mixture prescription-strength cough syrup containing codeine and soda. Although, the concoction originated in the south, rappers like Dipset and Lil Wayne have popularized it across the nation. The drink, or drank as it's also referred to, has gotten so big in the south that two different beverage companies are trying to capitalize on its popularity with newly released beverages -- one called "Drank" and the other labeled "Sippin' Syrup." Both drinks labels themselves as "anti-energy" drinks that provide "extreme relaxation." However, the ingredients are not harmful. They contain Melatonin, a natural substance that helps you sleep; and Valerian Root, which is used medicinally for insomnia and other disorders. On the official website for Drank (DrankBeverage.com), it says: "The first EXTREME RELAXATION drink to hit the market. DRANK, the new drink design to calm and relax you." According to local news station KBMT12, stores in Southeast Texas have started to stock their shelves with them, and local law enforcement and parents are concerned, calling both products a gateway to using other harmful and illegal substances. "It is such an obvious gateway product to one of the most dangerous drugs in our area," Major Jim Singletary who works in the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office, told the new channel. "We got enough problems with kids experimenting with the real thing," he added, "now the younger kids will be able to buy something like this until they can buy the real thing." Parents seem to agree with Singletary. Johnny Davison, who has four kids, says he is making sure his children stay away from the drink. "You hear it all the time on the rap tapes," he said. "If kids see it they're going to think it's something good." They just may have a point too. 18-year-old Jackie Robinson told the news station that he just started drink "Sippin' Syrup" just because of its name. "I ain't gonna lie it really do," Robinson said, as he sipped his drink. "It probably attracts a lot of people from the name too. "To put sippin syrup they're going to make some money," he added.

Mase 'On The Road to Glory' With Return

AllHipHop Reports Harlem rapper-turned-preacher-turned rapper Mase recently responded to critics doubting his reemergence in Hip-Hop and reunification with former Children of the Corn group member Cam’ron. Mase recently dropped a brand new single “Thinkin’ Bout You,” after being inspired to return to the music industry following the death of Michael Jackson. The track is a middle of the road song that contains no explicative’s from the former Bad Boy rapper, who has released records with artists varying from Big L and Notorious B.I.G. to Brandy and Mariah Carey. Taking to his Twitter page, Mase revealed that he recorded another new song that will be released this week, while acknowledging former Harlem World group members Suga J and Cardan. “God is Good! Arizona is blazing hot! Life is Amazing! The funny thing I learned is how fast life will change on us and we don't even notice,” Mase wrote from the state where he presides over Mason Betha Ministries (MBM), an outreach vehicle for El Elyon International Church (EEIC). Mase also implied that his return to rap was preordained via his Twitter page. “We as individuals are born already set on our road to glory,” Mase wrote. “Why do we mostly steer off course? How can we get back on course when we fall?" Mase retired from Hip-Hop in 1999, shortly after feuding with Cam’ron, for refusing to appear in the video for Cam’ron’s 1998 hit single “Horse and Carriage.” He returned in 2004 with a comeback album titled Welcome Back, but beef ensued between with Cam’ron and Jim Jones. In addition to doubting the validity of Mase’ new-found spirituality, Cam and Jones took issue with comments made in Mase’s 2003 autobiography There’s a Light After the Lime with Karen Hunter. Mase was also briefly associated with Cam and Dipset’s rivals, 50 Cent and G-Unit. This past June, Mase and Cam’ron shocked Hip-Hop when they dropped an official single titled “Get It” and revealed they were working on a collaboration project, almost 11-years after their hit single “Horse and Carriage.” As June ended, Jim Jones also buried the hatched, when he called into DJ Self’s radio show on New York’s Power 105 and apologized for his role in the feud. With the beefs buried for now, Mase implied that his return to the Hip-Hop game may last longer than his critics would like. Where that leaves his standing with MBM and EEIC remained unclear, as the rapper cryptically tweeted: “We tend to step inside the box and try to fit in with people who are trying to fit in! Why not live outside of that box and set the example?” On Friday, a remixed version of “Diamonds” from Teairra Mari's upcoming album hit the Internet with guest appearances from Kanye West and a new verse from Mase.
