Las Vegas police released body-camera video of a stabbing suspect running away from officers on Friday before being shot. In the video released during a press conference Monday, police constantly say "put the knife down" and "drop the knife" but the man, identified as Caleb Hill, keeps running. Police attempted to use a Taser, which hit the man's backpack, and five bean bag rounds, but it was not effective. Police said Hill had a long criminal history dating back to 1998, including battery, possession of stolen property and numerous drug charges. Police said there were potential illicit drugs in the man's system when he was shot but they are awaiting toxicology results. The shooting occurred near the RTC bus stop on Rainbow Boulevard near Spring Mountain Road around 1 p.m. Friday. Police said the man stabbed a woman on the bus before getting off the bus and stabbing another woman. Police reiterated Monday that the attack was unprovoked by the two victims, who have been released from the hospital. Hill remains hospitalized in critical but stable condition, police said. He faces two counts of attempted murder and a charge of resisting a public officer.

(Fox News) An “intoxicated” fan was charged after he ran onstage and chased after Beyonce and Jay-Z during the music duo’s “On The Run II” tour stop in Atlanta, police said Sunday.
Anthony Charles Thomas Maxwell, 26, was charged with simple battery after inciting chaos at the end of the couple’s concert Saturday night at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Atlanta Police officer Lisa Bender said. Videos from concertgoers showed Maxwell jumping onstage as Beyonce and Jay-Z were walking off. The backup dancers appeared confused until the man started running toward the back of the stage.
Bender said Maxwell managed to make contact with Jay-Z, but he was quickly stopped by security people and backup dancers with the rapper.
The “On The Run II” tour team released a statement early Sunday saying the an “intoxicated male entered the stage.”
“At this point we had a controlled evacuation of all crew on the stage in order to safely diffuse the situation,” the statement read, adding that the Carters are choosing not to press charges against the drunken fan.
Maxwell wasn’t as lucky with Atlanta police, who initially issued a citation against Maxwell for disorderly conduct before releasing him. Bender said the additional charge was later added on.
Maxwell was treated for minor injuries. No one else was injured.
Beyonce and Jay-Z’s publicist, Yvette Noel-Schure, confirmed on Instagram the couple were “fine.” Beyonce and Jay-Z performed at the same venue Sunday night before heading to Orlando, Fla., for their next tour stop.
