Michael Vick is climbing his way back to the top both on and off the field. The Philadelphia Eagles quarterback just re-signed a new endorsement deal with Nike.

CNBC reports that they believe it is the first time in the history of sports marketing, that a brand that dumped an athlete came back to sign him.

Nike suspended it's original contract with the player on July, 27 2007, after he was found to have been involved in an illegal dog fighting ring.

"Michael acknowledges his past mistakes," Nike said in a statement. "We do not condone those actions, but we support the positive changes he has made to better himself off the field."

Vick is proving that you can make a mistake in life and bounce back from it.

Producer Jim Jonsin has been behind the boards on a lot of hit records in recent years. He's produced chart topping songs for everyone from Lil Wayne to Usher.

It's safe to say that Jonsin has an ear for radio friendly tracks.

He recently talked with MTV about producing "Space Bound" for Eminem, his interpretation of the song and why he was surprised that Em picked it as a single

"Me and Steve McEwan actually wrote the song, we actually did it here in New York on guitar — it was just a guitar vocal on an iPhone," Jonsin said. "We took the idea later in Miami, like three months after, and produced the track, and we sent it out to Eminem to see what he thought about it. He loved it. So he interpreted it his own way. The chorus was based off of a chase, a guy who's chasing after a woman that he's crazy about. He loves her; she's everything to him. I'm a rocket ship aiming at her heart, her heart's the moon — I'm going full-on," he explained. "I didn't really believe that it would end up on Eminem's album, let alone be a single."

Houston rapper Scarface has been behind bars since October 2010 for several cases of failure to pay child support. Judging from the most recent news out of H-Town, he might be there quite a while longer.

XXL is reporting that Uncle Face is being held for two active child support warrants totaling $123,372. In addition, he also faces two other child support charges as well as charges from the federal government.

Scarface came to prominence as a member of the Geto Boys in 1991, along with Bushwick Bill and Willie D, when they released the single "Mind Playing Tricks On Me." Since then he has dropped 11 solo records, had classic guest appearances and is widely considered to be one of the best rappers ever.

We wish Scarface the best and hopefully this situation gets worked out sooner than later.

As we previously reported Pete Rock and Smif-N-Wessun's album release party for 'Monumental' was interrupted by mace spraying, billy club wielding members of the NYPD.

By all accounts the party being held at Tammany Hall in Mahattatan was a peaceful event, until a few people outside of the venue started trouble when they were denied entrance. Once police arrived they overreacted and a riot ensued.

Police stormed the club and cleared everyone out, including the artists.

The Urban Daily caught up with Pete Rock and General Steele of Smif-N-Wessun to get their take on what went down.

Two of America's favorite pastimes, football and basketball, are involved in messy labor negotiations that are threatening their upcoming seasons.

Both the NFL and the NBA have locked out their players. The NFL did so several months ago, while the NBA shut it's doors at midnight this morning.

During the lockouts teams can have no contact with players. Meaning injured players can't work out at team facilities or consult team doctors. There will also be no free agency or trades.

NFL owners have made significant strides in their negotiations with the players over the past month. Leading many to believe their season has a chance to start on time.

The same can't be said about the NBA, where the players and owners are so far apart in negotiations there might not be a 2011 season at all.

"We had a great year in terms of the appreciation of our fans for our game. It just wasn't a profitable one for the owners, and it wasn't one that many of the smaller market teams particularly enjoyed or felt included in," NBA commissioner David Stern said according to ESPN. "The goal here has been to make the league profitable and to have a league where all 30 teams can compete."

"The problem is that there's such a gap in terms of the numbers, where they are and where we are, and we just can't find any way to bridge that gap," Executive Director of the NBA Billy Hunter said.

What are your thoughts on the NBA and NFL lockouts in general?

Floyd Mayweather Jr. wore his promoter's hat at the recent press conference in Los Angeles for his upcoming fight with Victor Ortiz.

No doubt Floyd is taking his match with Ortiz seriously, but he did look into the future a bit when he said: "We only want to fight the biggest and the best out there -- and Manny Pacquiao, yes you're next."

Pacquiao's trainer Freddie Roach speculated three weeks ago that Floyd could be fighting the left handed Ortiz as a tune up fight for Paquiao, who is also a southpaw.

"Of course, that's the first thing that came to my mind," Roach told the Associated Press. "Some left-handers have given him trouble. Judah gave him trouble but couldn't maintain the pace. Guys like Victor Ortiz, Manny Pacquiao, they can maintain that pace. And I do think the southpaw stance gives him trouble."

If Pacquiao gets past his November 12 bout with Juan Manuel Marquez, and Floyd Beats Ortiz on September 17, that should set up one of the biggest fights in boxing history.

Tracy Morgan is in trouble with the Word Police again.

Just a week after apologizing in Nashville for a homophobic rant during a stand-up comedy routine, Morgan is being criticized again. This time he's accused of being insensitive to physically and mentally disabled people.

The comedian was in New York Saturday when he joked about having a crippled girlfriend, who has a tiny T-Rex arm, a mechanical larynx and a portable dialysis machine.

He also reportedly said, “Don’t ever mess with women who have retarded kids. Them young retarded males is strong. They’re strong like chimps.

Peter Berns, CEO of The Ark, a nonprofit advocacy group serving people with intellectual and developmental disabilities is demanding Morgan apologize.

"Tracy Morgan should apologize immediately," Berns, told E! News. "This quote is far too offensive to be excused as comedy, and it is very hurtful to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. Mr. Morgan has an incredibly powerful platform from which to fix this, and if he's learned anything in the last few weeks, he can't bomb this apology."

It's obvious that the groups calling for Morgan's head know nothing about him. I found footage on youtube that is two years old of him telling the joke about dating a "cripple" woman.

Where were all of these groups then? I'm not defending him. I'm just saying that this is his schtick.

It just seems like people won't be satisfied until he is fired from the NBC show "30 Rock."

Watch the video below and let us know if you think Tracy's comedy is too over the edge.

A couple of weeks ago police in the Chicago suburb of Rolling Hills were praising Robert J. Adams as a hero for turning in $17,021 in cash he found.

Yesterday, Adams was cited for filing a false report with the Rolling Meadows Police Department and fined $500 after police discovered he lied about where he had found the money.

On June 6 Adams discovered the bag of money outside of a Walgreens in Midlothian. He tried turning it into a nearby bank, but they said it didn't belong to them according to the Daily Mail.

Adams then took the money to another bank near his home in Rolling Hills and turned it in. He told police he found the cash outside of a newspaper stand there.

After an investigation by police and the FBI, the real story was revealed and Adams was subsequently cited and fined.

"I know now a little better than I knew then," he told the Chicago Tribune. "I feel very badly and understand why I should have told the truth. I wasn't looking for a reward. I was just doing the right thing. I accept the fine. I'm very sorry about this whole thing."

And police wonder why more people don't do what Adams did initially... smh.

By now most of you have probably seen parts of Amber Rose's body that only God and a few lucky men had seen prior to MediaTakeOut leaking nude photos of her.

Amber doesn't try to deny that it is her in the pictures like many celebrities in her position would do. Instead Wiz Khalifa's woman went on twitter to let her followers know how embarrassed and hurt she was by the whole situation.

I was gonna wait until my radio show to address this but I want to say this now. I trusted someone that worked 4 me & allowed them to use my laptop a million times, I caught this person sending my pics to themselves and I fired this person immediately Wiz & I & both of our families have known about this for 2 months now. We tried to prepare ourselves for this day. Those pictures r 2 1/2 years old just sitting in my computer. I'm really hurt & embarrased because I have so many young girls that look up to me. I would never put those pics out of myself.

The company that I was working with no longer wants to work with me because of these pics and that prevents me from getting money to take care of my family. Its a messed up situation when someone so evil comes into ur life and tries to destroy it. I know I'm not the only girl in the world that has taken pics like that but they were very private. I'm sorry for letting my young Rosebuds down. Pls understand this was a result of trusting a person that didn't deserve my trust. I have cried for the past 2 days but I know this to shall pass. Thank u for all of ur support

Lloyd Banks' new album 'The Hunger For More 2' contains quite a few standout tracks. His collaboration with Eminem on "Where I'm At" is definitely one of the highlights.

No official version of the video has been released, but this is one of the best fan made videos I've seen.

This song can be found on the iTunes deluxe edition of 'The Hunger For More 2' which you can purchase HERE.

What should have been a celebratory event last night for Pete Rock and Smif-N-Wessun  turned chaotic when the NYPD shut down their 'Monumental' album release party.

XXL is reporting that a total of eleven people, including five cops were injured when clashes between police and concert goers broke out outside of a club on Manhattan's Lower East Side.

The cops were initially called in by club security due to some unruly individuals. When cops arrived they detained one person outside, but the situation eventually escalated into a riot.

Police used pepper spray and billy clubs to try and disperse the crowd, but that didn't seem to work much.

Initial reports said that Pete Rock had been injured, but that rumor turned out to be false. Rock did however address the situation via twitter.

"EVERYBODY IM GOOD,IM WAITING 4 MY MAN TO COME OUT OF DA PRECINCT! COPS WERE BEATING PEOPLE UP AND ITS ALL ON FILM!!!!" he wrote. "BUT IT TOOK A BUNCH OF THEM TO DISRESPECT MY NIGGA LOUIE MAN! IT WAS LIKE 10 COPS BEATING ON 1 MAN,BILLIE CLUBS AND ALL THAT!"

General Steele of Smif-N-Wessun said that was typical of NYPD's relationship with the hip hop community. He spoke to DJ Lady Jay outside of the event right as things seemed to calm down.

"Right now you are witnessing some real live New York City sh*t," Steele said. "There was no fights. There was no confrontations. It was all kinds of people in there from all over the place. It was going on, it was poppin'. Then the police came and stormed the place. Telling us that we had to get out. Then they started beating on people ," he explained further. "Then New Yorkers like myself we get frustrated when the police come in and instead of brining order to the crowd, they create more chaos."
