Nelly drops off a very pop oriented new single "Hey Porsche" to get the year started. The St. Louis rapper should be coming out with a new album later this year. No idea if this song will be attached to that project.

Azealia Banks has been in more Twitter beefs than any artist in the history of the social networking site.
The Harlem, New York emcee has beefed with Jim Jones, Kreayshawn, Angel Haze, T.I., Iggy Azalea, Dominique Young Unique, Lil Kim and Nicki Minaj.
At this point her constant Twitter bickering is starting to overshadow her music career. Last night she added celebrity blogger Perez Hilton to the list. During their spat she called Perez a f*ggot. Hilton is a known homosexual. In today's world of political correctness, Azealia may come to regret typing that slur.
It all started after Perez tweeted Azealia, criticizing her for her feuds with other female rappers. Azealia replied by telling Perez: "Get the f*ck outta here d*ckbreath. U were just riding my cl*t yesterday.... Kick rox."'
From there it spiraled out of control.
In one tweet she asked: "Does your butthole whistle? Like is your butthole so stretched and raggedy the air whistles when you move?"
"Sweetie, you're not ignorant. You know you shouldn't call me the F word," Perez replied at one point. "That AND wishing I die? You hoping I get AIDS next?"

Lil Wayne is getting ready to face off in court with Quincy Jones III for a second time.
Wayne sued QDIII last year for releasing a documentary that he called a "scandalous portrayal" of him. Weezy also claimed that his music was used in The Carter documentary without his permission.
Wayne was unable to testify in the November 2012 trial due to travel restrictions after suffering two seizures. His lawyers were forced to use his bizarre deposition video in which he refused to answer questions as his testimony.
A Los Angeles jury ruled against the Young Money boss.
To make matters worse, QDIII counter-sued Wayne for breach of contract and won. As a result Wayne was ordered to pay him $2,195,000.

TMZ is reporting that Wayne's legal team has filed documents declaring his intent to appeal the jury's decision. He's got a month to file the actual appeal itself.

Ever since photos surfaced of Coco and AP.9 cuddled up in Las Vegas last month, the question everyone wants an answer to is did they do more than just take pictures.
Coco and her husband Ice-T have apparently moved past the situation that caused a temporary rift in their marriage. Ice initially reacted angrily on Twitter after seeing the photos.
She's made me look.. And feel like sh-t. I say this on Twitter because there's no way to avoid the obvious misconduct of a married couple," he said at the time.
Coco issued a public apology for taking the inappropriate photos and on New Year's Eve the couple celebrated 12 years of being together by renewing their wedding vows.
The issue is far from over though. AP recently called into The Murder Master Music Show to chop it up with Prezident Bejda about what went down and more.
"The pictures are worth a thousand words. If motherf*ckers can't see through that they're blind to the world. They're blind to a lot of sh*t," The Mob Figaz rapper said, before hinting that he has a big surprise in store. "In a day or two I'm finna shock the world, that's all you need to know. Stay tuned, I'm gonna shock the world and it is what it is.".
AP has reportedly been shopping naked pics of Coco he claims he took of the reality star.
"AP.9 has said he has pictures of Coco with him in a private room in Vegas and he said in some of them she doesn't have any clothes on!" a source told RadarOnline.com."He's been putting feelers out to see if people want to buy the pictures because he claims they are really salacious and that a lot more happened with Coco then just them posing in a night club!"
The West Coast rapper told Prezident Bejda he would physically put in work on Ice-T if the "Original Gangster" stepped to him.
"Ice-T don't won't no problems with me. I'll beat his old a$$," AP said. "You already know what it is. That n*gga don't want no problems with me. I hope he listening right now. My n*gga, I will beat the sh*t out of that old a$$ man. I don't know Ice-T. Nothing against Ice-T, I don't know him. He threw his little shots at me on Twitter because of his wife. Come on man... I'm a real gangster. I done took 12 bullets. I done been through the whole sh*t. I'm well respected everywhere. I fear no man but God."
AP dropped one more bombshell before the interview was finished. When asked a question about the Kardashians, he claimed he's already blown Kim Kardashian's back out.
"I done already had Kim Kardashian and all them b*tches. That ain't nothing new. That b*tch is old news. People that know me know I've already had that b*tch," he revealed.

The project is anchored by the single "Money" and is packed with quality features from Pusha T, Scarface, Jadakiss, Mannie Fresh, Bun B, Young Keys, Max Minelli, Bogus Boys, Sam Hook, Cheech, Gotti Gang, DJ Corbett and 5 Star Gang.
Chicago rapper Chief Keef has avoided jail time for an alleged probation violation.
Keef, real name, Keith Cozart, was accused of moving to Northbrook, Illinois without telling authorities. He was also accused of not checking in with his probation officer since the December 18 release of his debut album, Finally Rich. Prosecutors sought to have the 17-year old locked up pending a full hearing later this month.
Keef's attorney argued that he had been spending time at the Northbrook home of his manager recording music at the studio there.
After hearing testimony from Keef's probation officer, Juvenile Court Judge Carl Anthony Walker ruled that there was no "credible evidence" that the rapper had moved to Northbrook according to the Chicago Tribune.
Keef is on on probation after a juvenile conviction for pointing a gun at a police office. He still faces a hearing on on January 28, 2013 for another alleged probation violation for holding a gun during a 2012 interview with Pitchfork at a gun range in New York.
Pitchfork has since taken the video down, but have been ordered by a judge to turn over the footage, as it will be used to determine if Keef should be sent back to juvenile detention for firing weapons.

Hip-hop's last 12 months were so unpredictable. It used to be that you could count on certain heavyweights to carry us through a calendar year, but instead of solo releases from Jay-Z, Eminem, Lil Wayne or Kanye West, we were treated to a host of pleasant surprises in 2012.
2 Chainz, Kendrick Lamar and Meek Mill all delivered memorable solo debuts, while veteran MC Nas proved he can still craft classic material. Rick Ross held nothing back on God Forgives, I Don't, and T.I. got the trap back jumping on Trouble Man: Heavy Is the Head.
Now that we have a number of new stars and returning veterans, 2013 could very well go down in the history books. Here are MTV News' most anticipated hip-hop albums of 2013:
50 Cent
February marks the 10-year anniversary of 50 Cent's deafening debut Get Rich or Die Tryin',and to help mark the occasion, the G-Unit head is looking to drop his fifth LP, Street King Immortal. It's been four years since Fif's last studio LP, and fans are wondering if he's still got it. We're thinking yes.
Big Sean
When Big Sean dropped his debut, Finally Famous, in 2011, we thought he did a mighty fine job, but being the perfectionist he is, the G.O.O.D. Music MC promised to up the ante for his sophomore disc, Hall of Fame. If the album is anything like his 2011 Detroit mixtape, rap fans are in for quite a treat.
Drake
Drizzy has racked up a ton of life experience since releasing Take Care at the end of 2011. He's toured the world, rumbled (allegedly) with Chris Brown's crew and moved from Toronto to L.A. — and we're sure he's broken a heart or two. It all should make for very engaging music once Drake decides to drop his third LP.
Eminem
Sean isn't the only Detroit player slated to drop an album this year. Eminem confirmed he is working on his Recovery follow-up, and while no release date has been given, a commemorativebaseball cap that went for sale on the rapper's website in October hinted at a 2013 release. We don't have much detail on the LP, but platinum producer No I.D. told MTV News that the two made plans to hit the studio.
Jay-Z
Way back in December 2011, Hov revealed to MTV News he was in "a great place creatively" and not only hinted at a 12th solo LP, but told us we might get a Watch the Throne sequel with Kanye as well. In 2012, Hov stayed busy raising Blue Ivy and bringing the Nets to his native Brooklyn, so we never did get that album. We're not harboring any hard feelings; we know Jigga Man is good for it!
J. Cole
J. Cole takes this rap thing seriously. His tightly executed 2011 debut, Cole World: The Sideline Story, blended true-school hip-hop with some pretty poignant pop moments. We're looking for the Roc Nation MC/producer to do the same on his upcoming Born Sinner project. Already, the teaser single "Miss America" shows a ton of promise, thanks to its complex rhyme patterns and powerful social commentary.
Kanye West/ G.O.O.D. Music
No, Kanye West didn't drop a solo LP last year, but he didn't exactly leave fans hanging either. G.O.O.D. Music's Cruel Summer LP gave listeners plenty of standout Yeezy moments, and word is the Louis Vuitton Don is working on his My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy follow-up. No I.D. confirmed the yet-untitled project with MTV News last July, and if we don't get that, we're still holding out for the mysterious Cruel Winter.
Lil Wayne
We were supposed to get Weezy's I Am Not a Human Being II last year, but what's a highly anticipated rap LP without a few pushbacks? With his "No Worries" single beyond buzzing and his newly leaked "Good Kush & Alcohol" hitting the Net, it doesn't seem like we'll be waiting too long for Tunechi's next masterpiece.
Pusha T
As one-half of the Clipse, Pusha T has already dropped countless sonic gems, but can he do it on his own? On his upcoming solo debut, My Name Is My Name, the G.O.O.D. Music rhyme dealer looks to permanently cement his name in the annals of rap.
Schoolboy Q
The folks over at Top Dawg Entertainment got a good thing going. Last year, they partnered with Dr. Dre's Aftermath label to drop Kendrick Lamar's unforgettable good kid, m.A.A.d cityLP; now, it's all eyes on K-Dot's Black Hippy partner-in-rhyme Schoolboy Q, who is scheduled to drop his major debut, Oxymoron,in the coming months. If his independently released Habits & Contradictions is any barometer, fans can expect pure heat.
What do you think of MTV's list? Are there any projects you would add or subtract?
