Emerging canadian artist Stokes project saw the day light on 2013-02-14 and it is entitled R.E.H.A.B (Reality Exceeds Happiness and Beauty). In fact, Two official singles have been released so far called "When I'll Be Around" and "Video Vixen" ft. Voyce*. Both songs have been produced by Duo Tang production, producers as well located in Montreal, Canada.

YMCMB rapper Tyga is getting ready to release his third studio album, Hotel California, on April 9th. Thanks to HHNM we get our first look at the projects production credits and booklet.

The previously announced collaboration with Tupac Shakur will not be featured on the album. The label might not have been able to get clearance for Pac's vocals in time for the album's release, however Jadakiss remains on the "Hit 'Em Up" track.

Super producer Pharell Williams rang in his 40th birthday in style among celebrity at Liv nightclub in Miami on Friday, April 5th.

Good friends Miley Cyrus, Lil Wayne, Pusha T, Leah LaBelle, Jennifer Hudson, Chad Hugo and Teyana Taylor all showed up to make sure the birthday boy had a good time.

Chad manned the turntables during the event. A special cake designed by KAWS was presented to Pharell.

Tyler, The Creator couldn't make the event but he tweeted happy birthday wishes and paid tribute to the producer for influencing his career.

Pharell tweeted a quote from from writer Franz Kafka on his philosophy to remaining young at heart.

Wesley Snipes has been freed from a federal prison in Pennsylvania where he was serving a three-year sentence for tax evasion.

The "Blade" actor was released on April 2nd and transferred to the New York Community Corrections Office. He will remain there under house arrest until July 19th, according to TMZ.

Snipes was convicted in 2010 of willfully failing to file tax returns in 1999, 2000 and 2001. He was acquitted of felony tax fraud and conspiracy charges.

Jay-Z and Beyonce's vacation in Cuba is drawing criticism from Cuban-American activists. Hov and B were celebrating their fifth wedding anniversary in the communist country.

A group fighting for democracy in Cuba is wondering why the superstar couple would choose to visit the country now being lead by Fidel Castro's brother Raúl.

"There are women getting beaten on a daily basis, women who are being jailed for no reason. People are fighting for their freedom. It’s extremely insensitive," Mauricio Claver-Carone, the D.C. director for the US-Cuba Democracy PAC, told TMZ.

The U.S. has no diplomatic relations with the Cuban government. Declaring it "an authoritarian state that routinely employs repressive methods against internal dissent."

Millions of Cubans have fled the country for the United States.

U.S. citizens are still technically banned from traveling to the island purely for tourism, and are supposed to obtain a travel license from the U.S. government.

The controversy surrounding Rick Ross' date rape lyrics isn't dying down. If anything the outcry is growing louder as networks like CNN, Fox and ABC have picked up the story.

“Put molly all in her champagne / She ain’t even know it / I took her home and I enjoyed that / She ain’t even know it," Ross raps in the song “U.O.E.N.O.”

Yesterday on ABC's "The View," Barbara Walters, Whoopi Goldberg, Elisabeth Hasselbeck, Joy Behar and Sherri Shepherd discussed the song and what they thought should happen next.

"I think that Reebok is a trailblazer in terms of having women and strength, their fitness and well being at the forefront of what was going on in fitness and athletics," said Hasselbeck. "I have no doubt that they'll do right by women with whatever happens here. [Ross] is not their only guy. They have Alicia Keys, they have Swizz Beatz. They have a slew of celebrities that are gonna go in there and actually be strong by their brand and also obey their morality clause."

Behar suggested the MMG CEO look for an endoresment deal elsewhere.

"The guy is 400 pounds. Maybe he should be doing a commercial for Pizza Hut instead of sneakers," she quipped.

Ross offered up yet another apology yesterday.

The apology wasn't well received on Twitter according to CNN.

@RadicalONFIRE wrote: "RICK ROSS needs to work on the sincerity of his apologies...just saying."

Two hours later Ross tried again: "Apologies to my many business partners,who would never promote violence against women. @ReebokClassics @ultraviolet"

That one didn't go over particularly well, either.

Professor/author/activist Marc Lamont Hill tweeted: "The fact that @rickyrozay apologized clearly to @reebok after offering an 'i'm sorry y'all misunderstood and got mad at me' says everything."

As we previously reported, the anti-sexism group UltraViolet started a petition and planned to protest in front of Reebok's flagship store in New York City. Yesterday they made good on their word by showing up at Reebok to speak out.

"It is a hate crime to be making fun of, making light of drugging and raping women," said Now NYC President, Sonia Ossario. "Something that happens all to often in our culture."

"We have 72,000 petitions signed by our members all over the country at WeAreUltraViolet.org. And there are also comments from people about why they feel like Reebok needs to drop Rick Ross for his recent lyrics about drugging and raping a girl," an UltraViolet spokeswoman said.
