Keeping true to his word, Lil Scrappy has entered a rehab facility to try and kick a weed habit that has kept him in trouble with the law.
The Love and Hip Hop Atlanta star is on probation stemming from a 2008 marijuana conviction. As part of his probation agreement the rapper must abstain from using drugs and alcohol. He's also drug tested regularly.
Leading up to his current stint in rehab Scrappy got in trouble when he refused to submit a fresh urine sample in March, after probation officials suspected his first sample had been tainted with. He left the testing facility and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
He turned himself in to police on April 23rd. During a May 22nd court hearing in Georgia it was revealed that Scrappy failed his most recent drug test by testing positive for weed. The Grustle Gang leader vowed to get help for his addiction.
His lawyer told TMZ that his client checked into a rehab facility on Thursday, May 30th. He will be there at least until his next hearing on June 16th. Scrappy hopes the judge will show him leniency.
During his stay at the facility the rapper will have to wake up daily at 6:30 a.m., attend group therapy sessions, one-one-one therapy and have a 10 p.m. curfew. He will not have access to a cell phone or laptop and is not allowed visitors for the first two weeks.

Justin Bieber's security team has shifted the blame onto the shoulders of Tyler, The Creator for the Memorial Day incident in which Justin's Ferrari was seen speeding through a gated Calabasas, California neighborhood.
According to law enforcement, they have been told by Bieber's team that they have video footage that shows it was the Odd Future rapper behind the wheel that night, not Justin.
The problem for Bieber is that several witnesses, including former NFL player Keyshawn Johnson have identified him as the driver according to TMZ. Keyshawn confirmed yesterday that he saw Justin behind the wheel.
As we previously reported, Johnson chased Bieber down in his own vehicle to confront him when he saw the 19-year old speed past him.
The supposed footage of Tyler driving the car has not yet been turned over to police by the singer's security team.

Roc Nation Sports has recently celebrated the signings of New York Yankees player Robinson Cano, New York Jets quarterback Geno Smith and Tulsa Shock female B-baller Skylar Diggins, but the Smith signing is proving troublesome.
The NFL Player's Association is looking into whether Jay broke union rules by helping to recruit Smith, a recent second round pick by the Jets out of West Virginia University.
Shortly after being drafted, Geno fired his agents. He subsequently signed with Roc Nation. Smith posted a pic with Hov. The caption read: "Ballin til they ban us! #rocboys." The photo was later deleted.
The union's "runner rule" only allows certified agents to recruit players. Jay is not currently certified. The NFLPA is trying to find out if the rapper participated in persuading Smith to sign with his company.
Smith has publicly stated that Jay-Z did not recruit him, but according to a report by USA Today, Smith has told a source that Hov was active in recruiting him. Jay also reportedly lined up Boston attorney Kimberly Miale to handle all of Smith's contract negotiations.
Kimberly Miale
Miali is NFL Players Association-certified. She has previously represented two clients who did not make an NFL roster. If the NFLPA finds out that Jay violated the "runner rule" he can't be penalized because he's not under their jurisdiction. However, Miale could have her certification suspended.
The NFLPA has sent Roc Nation a letter asking them to provide more information on Smith's recruitment and his relationship with the company.

Jermaine Dupri is dangerously close to losing a large portion of music from his So So Def Records catalog. The music producer is being sued by SunTrust Bank for the remaining $2 million of a $4.6 million loan he took out in 2010.
According to TMZ, Dupri put up the copyrights and royalties to music from artists like Da Brat, Bow Wow and Xscape as collateral to secure the loan. If he can't come up with the money and the court rules in favor of the bank, he'll be forced to pay back the loan, plus interest and have to kiss a large bulk of the music that made his label a powerhouse goodbye.
Dupri has been in serious financial trouble before and found a way to pull himself out of it. He paid off a $3 million tax lien in February and managed to save his Atlanta mansion from foreclosure twice in the past year.

50 Cent and Fat Joe couldn't have sat in the same room together two years ago without some kind of drama popping off. Today the two rap titans have buried their long running beef and let bygones be bygones.
MTV caught up with 50 at the Wednesday premiere of Will and Jaden Smith's new movie "After Earth." The G-Unit mogul admitted that his beef with the Terror Squad boss dragged on longer than it should have.
"Fat Joe, that was interesting. The competitive nature of hip-hop forces us to compete," 50 said. "It was one of those things that it went on longer than it was supposed to with that one."
Joe recently said that he doesn't ever expect to have conflict with 50 again. A collaboration between the two would be dope. Maybe we will see that happen one day.
