Chief Keef is dealing with a new lawsuit. TMZ reports that the Chicago rapper was scheduled to perform at a breast cancer benefit concert in Cleveland called RapCure. His fee for the show was $25,000. He was reportedly paid $15,000 in advance. The remaining $10,000 was to be paid on the day of the June 2013 event.
Keef, real name Keith Cozart, asked for and received an additional $2500 for travel expenses the day before the show. His agent assured the company bankrolling the event that he was on the way. But he failed to appear.
Kim Productions had to cancel the show and refund fans their ticket money. KP is suing Keef for $26,000. That includes the cost of the refunded tickets, the money advanced to the rapper, advertisement, lights, equipment and the fee to rent out the theater.

George Zimmerman killed an unarmed teen, but he has beef with Kanye West because he says the rapper beats up "defenseless people."
The former neighborhood watch patrolman, who was acquitted in the murder trial of 17-year old Trayvon Martin, wants West as his opponent in a celebrity boxing match, according to TMZ.
As we previously reported, two other rappers, DMX and The Game, have already pledged to beat the breaks off of Zimmerman if they are picked as his opponent for the match that is set to go down on March 1st.
Celebrity boxing promoter Damon Feldman is putting the event together. No opponent for Zimmerman has been named yet, but I'd pay money to watch him and West go toe to toe.

The actor Philip Seymour Hoffman was found dead in his New York apartment on Sunday morning of an apparent drug overdose, according to a law enforcement official who requested anonymity because he was not certain the actor’s family had been informed of the death.
The official said Mr. Hoffman, 46, was found in his West Village apartment around 11:30 a.m. by a friend who had become concerned at not being able to reach Mr. Hoffman.
Investigators found a syringe in his arm and an envelope containing what is believed to be heroin, the official said.
“It’s pretty apparent that it was an overdose,” the official said. “The syringe was in his arm.”
Mr. Hoffman won the Academy Award for Best Actor for his role in the 2005 film “Capote,” in which he portrayed the writer Truman Capote.
He had undergone treatment for drug addiction in the past, and spoke in interviews about “falling off the wagon” last year after remaining clean for 23 years.
By around 2 p.m, more than a hundred people had gathered outside the address where the actor was found, in a brick apartment building on Bethune Street. The crowd was growing by the minute.
As people passed, they stopped, snapped photos, held hands and watched. They seemed to be waiting.
“He’s a local. He’s a fixture in this neighborhood,” said Christian McCulloch, 39, who said that he lives nearby. “You see him with his kids in the coffee shops, he is so sweet. It’s desperately sad.”
At a short distance from the crowd, two men who identified themselves as friends embraced, sobbing.
A woman answering the phone at Mr. Hoffman’s New York production company declined to comment. “I don’t have a comment at this time on that, thank you,” she said.

50 Bags of heroin, 20 unused needles and 4 different prescription drugs were found in Philip Seymour Hoffman's apartment, according to the New York Daily News.
Prescription drugs found included.
1. Clonidine - used for high blood pressure
2. Vyvanse - treatment for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder
3. Methocarbamol - a muscle relaxant
4. Hydroxyzine - used to relieve the itching caused by allergies and to control the nausea and vomiting caused by various conditions, including motion sickness.
Police say the heroin was a potent brand cut with fentanyl, a pain reliever. The bags were stamped "Ace of Spades" or "Ace of Hearts."

One addict told the Daily News that the heroin Hoffman was using is in high demand in New York City.
“From what I know, it’s really good,” the addict said. "That’s what the people want. I think they’re getting it for cheap, too.
Cops are now trying to find out where the actor purchased the drugs. They are looking at surveillance footage from around the area to see if he was part of a large purchase.

On Sunday singer Keyshia Cole posted an Instagram photo of herself and Cassie, who is wearing a nice rock on her finger.
