George Zimmerman will participate in a celebrity box match on March 1st. Celebrity boxing promoter, Damon Feldman, is putting the event together. All proceeds from the bout will be donated to charity, according to TMZ.
An opponent has not yet been picked, but George is reportedly willing to fight anyone, regardless of race.
"We're not looking at it as a race thing," Feldman said. "We haven't discussed purple, yellow, white, black."
Rapper DMX would like to be the one to step into the ring with Zimmerman. He told TMZ he has specific plans for the man who was acquitted of killing 17-year old Trayvon Martin.
"I am going to beat the living f*ck out him. I am breaking every rule in boxing to make sure I f*ck him right up. Once I am done with him, I am going to whip my d*ck out and piss on him, right in his muthaf*cking face. Zimmerman is a piece of sh*t and that’s what he needs to drink."
The Game also wants to fight Zimmerman, who told Radar Online he has experience in the ring.
“Prior to the incident I was actually going to the gym for weight loss and doing boxing-type training for weight loss and a mutual friend put me in contact with Damon and provided me with an opportunity and motivation to get back in shape and continue with my weight loss goals and also be able to help a charity out.”

George Zimmerman Celebrity Boxing Match - Is He Asking For Trouble?

43-year old DMX wanted a shot at George Zimmerman and he will get it. Promoter Damon Feldman told TMZ that the rapper was picked out of 15,000 applicants.
Zimmerman is 13-years younger than Dark Man X. The bout will last 3 rounds. The exact date, time and location will be announced at a press conference next Wednesday.

Heroin use is at an all time high in the United States. The number of heroin overdose deaths rose 45% from 2006-2010, according to CNN.
"We have an explosion of heroin use in this country," said James Capra, DEA Director of Operations.
In a 2002 survey 166,000 Americans admitted they had used the drug in the last month. That number has jumped to 333,000 in 2014.
Robert Parkinson, the director of the Beachcomber Rehabilitation Center in Delray Beach, Florida told CNN things are going to get a lot worse.
"I've been here over six years, and literally this is the first year that I can remember seeing this many people coming in here with an addiction to heroin," Parkinson said. "It's not at an epidemic level yet,[but] it's going to be there. It's that bad."

The recent heroin related deaths of celebrated actor Phillip Seymour Hoffman and Glee star Cory Monteith illustrates America's growing problem. Heroin doesn't discriminate. It's users stretch across all racial and economic lines.
The average age of heroin users has dropped from people in their 30's to 21-years old," according to Michael's House.
The Federal Drug Enforcement Administration's crackdown on the illegal prescription drug trade has actually led to more heroin addicts.
"On the street if it's gonna cost you $80 to get a pill. Some opiate type of pharmaceutical drug, verses $10 for a bag of heroin... That's what we see," said Capra.
Heroin primarily comes from four areas: Mexico, Southeast and Southwest Asia and South America. It can be snorted, smoked or injected by needle.
By the time it reaches the street level in the United States it's been stepped on many times, leaving users unsure of the purity of the product and what it's been cut with, increasing the risk of an accidental overdose.

28-year old Jamie Carrillo was the victim of sexual abuse starting at the age of 12 at the hands of her former basketball coach, Andrea Cardosa.
The abuse began at Chemawa Middle School in Riverside, California. It lasted until Carrillo was 18-years old. Carrillo claims Cardosa would frequently take her on out of town trips to have sex with her.

“She just completely manipulated me into thinking that I needed her and I wanted it,” Carrillo said. "Everything was stolen from me."
Cardosa would threaten suicide if her secret was revealed, according to Carrillo.
Carrillo says it took her years to confront her abuser. By the time she worked up the courage she thought Cardosa would not be prosecuted because the statute of limitations was up. So instead, Carrillo tracked down her former abuser at her new job as an assistant principle at Alhambra High School in Alhambra, California, and confronted her via a phone call.

During the call Cardosa admits to the abuse and said she regretted it. The videotaped call was posted on YouTube on Friday (January 17). Within hours administrators at Alhambra High School were made aware of it and Cardosa resigned.
"I want her to be in jail and to pay for what she's done." Carrillo told KTLA.
Riverside police are investigating the matter because that's where the abuse started.
Carrillo could get into trouble for recording the conversation. In California it's illegal to record someone on the phone without their consent. But it's unlikely Carrillo will be prosecuted.

**UPDATE** February 4th
Andrea Michelle Cardosa is now in police custody following the posting of her YouTube confession by sexual assault victim Jamie Carrillo. Another 18-year old woman, identified only as Brianna, has also come forward in connection with the case, alleging sexual abuse. She said Carrillo's video prompted her to come forward.
Cardosa was arrested Monday (February 3), according to CNN. The Riverside County District Attorney's Office has charged her with 16 felonies. She's accused of abusing the 2 women between 1997-2010. She faces 11 counts of lewd acts on a child and five counts of aggravated sexual assault on a child. Her bond is set at $5 million.

Cardosa's lawyer, Randy Collins, is working to reduce his client's bail. He issued a written statement on the matter.
"Fortunately, our justice system requires more than a YouTube video to determine the facts of a case. As we proceed, I am certain that evidence will shed new light on all charges filed by the D.A.'s office against my client."
Cardosa faces life in prison if convicted of the aggravated sexual assault counts.
