21-year old John Luke Dale will spend the next nine months in jail after a three-judge panel denied the appeal for his sexual assault conviction.
Dale was originally sentenced in September for placing his penis on the face of a sleeping woman at a house party, then slapping her across the face with it while a friend filmed. The details are just now surfacing because of the appeal denial on Tuesday, October 21.
Judge Alistair McCreath says the sexual assault has caused the woman "obvious and significant distress."
Dale, from Milton Keynes, England, had been studying to become a lawyer at Nottingham Trent University when the incident happened. His friend showed the video to someone else, who then called the police.

Alan Knight of Swansea, South Wales was able to pull off an elaborate scheme for 2 years with help from his wife, Helen.
Knight pretended to have seizures that would put him in a coma. All the while he was scamming money from his neighbor, Alan Richards' pension. He used the $66,000 he received to fund vacations with his family.
During Knight's "vegetative" states Helen would pretend she was caring for him. Sitting for hours by his hospital bed and assisting him in a wheelchair.
However, the con man wasn't the sharpest pencil in the box. He was often spotted on CCTV shopping with his family at a Tesco supermarket, pushing a shopping basket without any problems. He was also seen driving a car. During one particular stay at a hospital, Knight was supposed to be in a coma, but doctors spotted him sitting up eating in bed.
Knight was trying to avoid going to jail after being convicted in 2012 for theft.
"In my entire career this is the most calculated, long-term deception of a vulnerable, elderly neighbor I have ever seen," Detective Con Paul Harry told The Daily Mail. "He had constantly avoided court for two years, costing police, the NHS and the court system thousands of pounds."
The law finally caught on to Knight's scheme and on Tuesday, October, 21, he pleaded guilty to 19 charges of forgery, fraud and theft for over more than a year at Swansea Crown Court. He will be sentenced on November 7.

Charlamagne tha God sat down with VladTV once more and shared his opinion on Tyga breaking up with his son's mother, Blac Chyna and possibly dating 17-year-old Kylie Jenner. The Breakfast Club host says he feels bad for Chyna, as Tyga took her out of the strip club and she possibly has no skills to fall back on. When it comes to Kylie Jenner, Charlamagne says Tyga is "redshirting" her, a term used in sports for athletes who are on suspension or delay in order to lengthen their period of eligibility.
C tha God also shared his detest of "7th Heaven" star Stephen Collins admitting to molesting kids, with Charlamagne saying he wishes the absolute worst on those kinds of people.

The New York Police Department are looking to question Brooklyn, New York rapper Maino after porn star Mellanie Monroe made claims that he physically assaulted her outside of Griffin nightclub in downtown Manhattan on Tuesday, October 21.
According to the New York Post's Page Six, Monroe says she was in a car with the rapper, real name Jermaine Coleman, when he began punching her before fleeing the scene.
Monroe told police her leg was hurting after the attack.

Kylie? Nah. See the thing about Kylie… I’ve known Kylie and the whole family for four years. I introduced Chyna to Kim about a year ago. So everybody’s been cool, but like it’s just so hard, their world is different. If somebody wanna’ hang out, cool, I’m not opposed to hanging out with somebody. I hang out with her [Kylie], her sister [Kendall], I hang out with Scott [Disick] sometimes, I hang out with Khloe sometimes. But people wanna take the situation [with Kylie] to the next level.
The perception that’s out there on you doesn’t match the real life individual.
Yeah, my biggest song is “Rack City.” It’s just like a party song about a stripper. But anybody that meets me knows I’m a genuine person when they talk to me. I just didn’t want to make music like this, I didn’t want to be labeled, and I didn’t want to be no backpack rapper. I wanted to make music I can party and have fun to and that’s what I like doing. But if you talk to me, it’s a whole other thing.
Is Young Money a part of the creative process on this album?
Nah. I tend to distance myself from them.
Are you trying to break out on your own?
Yeah, I’m tryna’ go independent. I don’t really get along with Drake. I don’t really get along with Nicki.
Why?
I don’t like Drake as a person. He’s just fake to me. I like his music; you know what I’m saying? I think his music is good, but we’re all different people. We were forced together and it was kinda’ like we were forcing relationships together. It is what it is. But I been friends with Chris [Brown] for like six years. That’s my real genuine friend. We hang out all the time. He lives up the street from me, so we don’t just do music we hang. I think being signed to Young Money, everybody felt like they had to force a relationship ‘cause Wayne put us together. At the end of the day the reason why I signed to Young Money is because of Wayne. Not because of Drake, not because of Nicki. It was because of Wayne and my relationship with him. I try to be cool with everybody, but sometimes, everybody just has different personalities, motives, and different characters. When you realize that, you realize that’s not a place where you want to continue to grow.

45-year old actress Renee Zellweger is well known all over the world after starring in the hit movies Jerry Maguire, Me, Myself & Irene and Bridget Jones' Diary.
Over the last several years she's been absent from the Hollywood scene. On Monday, October 20, she stepped out in public for the first time in a while at the Elle magazine 21st annual Women in Hollywood event.
She looked completely unrecognizable. Gone was her signature squint. Some even questioned whether it was really her. In an interview with PEOPLE she says she doesn't know what all the fuss is about.
"I'm glad folks think I look different! I'm living a different, happy, more fulfilling life, and I'm thrilled that perhaps it shows."
