Ronda Rousey became the first mixed martial arts fighter to cover The Ring Magazine in the publication's 93-year history. In fact you have to go as far back as 1978 to find the first and only time a female boxer, Cathy "Cat" Davis, was featured on the cover of "The Bible of Boxing," according to FightHype.
The concept does not sit well with retired former boxing champion, Floyd Mayweather Jr. In a recent interview with FightHype, Money May had a lot to say about the topic.
"Well, you know, congratulations, but you know the sport is starting to look bad when a female fighter from a whole other sport is on the cover of a boxing book," the future Hall of Famer said.
Mayweather believes the timing is not a coincidence.
Oscar De La Hoya acquired The Ring Magazine 9 years ago. He's also the CEO of Golden Boy Promotions.
In Mayweather's opinion, De La Hoya, is trying to put himself in a position to add Rousey to his team, that right now can only count Canelo Alvarez as it's only young star.
"You gotta realize this, we all know Oscar De La Hoya owns the Ring Magazine," Mayweather told Ben Thompson of Fighthype. "That shows you; he has no fighters but Canelo. Basically, it's like he's trying to steal her from Dana White. Richard Shaefer, he built Golden Boy from the ground up, helped them make tons and tons of money, and what did this guy do? This is real talk, how can Canelo or any fighter hold their head up high and say, 'You know what? I'm proud for Oscar, a guy that dressed in drag and been on coke.' I mean, the world knows this. How can you hold your head up high and say, 'You know what? I'm proud for this person to be my promoter.'"
Pretty harsh words coming from Mayweather, but he and De La Hoya's relationship is strained at best and has been that way for years.
What's your take on all of this? Do you think Rousey should be on the cover of a boxing magazine?

Floyd Mayweather Jr. has been somewhat of a mentor to Adrien Broner during his boxing career. That may not be the case anymore after AB dissed The Money Team recently.
"I don't wanna hear shit about TMT shit," Broner said outside of the BET Hip Hop Awards in Atlanta in October. "I fuck with Floyd. All the rest of that shit dead. Other than that it's About Billions."
I only fuck with a few of them niggas the rest can keep hating on me.... None of them niggas better not step in the ring with me doe #FACTS
— Adrien Broner (@AdrienBroner) October 19, 2015
I have the up most respect for Floyd and what he's done in the boxing game but I just don't respect them wanna be ass niggas he promoting HA
— Adrien Broner (@AdrienBroner) October 19, 2015
This shit is hilarious how the fuck you hating on a Nigga you wanna be like ... Can't take care of yo self ass niggas!!!!
— Adrien Broner (@AdrienBroner) October 19, 2015

— Adrien Broner (@AdrienBroner) October 19, 2015
people tell me all the time how coaches in that gym talk bad about me but that's cool cause if they was training me they will be dick riding

— Adrien Broner (@AdrienBroner) October 19, 2015
I don't give a fuck who talk bad about me cause when it's all over with my name will be in the history books as one of the best EVER!!!
— Adrien Broner (@AdrienBroner) October 19, 2015
Floyd finally responded to Broner's jab during an interview with FightHype this week.
"Instead of saying fuck The Money Team, he needs to be thanking The Money Team," Floyd told FightHype. "Because at the end of the day Al Haymon is a part of The Money Team. Everything is under the same umbrella when it's all said and done. If you're saying fuck Al Haymon, you're saying fuck Floyd Mayweather. When you're say fuck Floyd Mayweather, you're saying fuck Al Haymon."
Floyd goes on to criticize the direction Broner's career is headed and said the 26-year old Cincinnati fighter "has a lot of growing up to do."
Money May also took exception to comments Broner made about Caityln Jenner after his last bout. AB was asked in the post-fight interview about boxing a TMT fighter, Ashley Theophane, that Floyd believes can beat him when he dissed Jenner.
"This is what you do [Floyd]. 'Cause bosses talk to bosses. You put Ashley on one of your private jets. Bring him to come see me and I bet I bring the girl out of that boy like Bruce Jenner," AB said.
"You are there taking shots at Bruce Jenner. When it’s all said and done, let Bruce Jenner live his life the way he wanna live his life," Floyd responded. "Bruce Jenner don’t even know who Adrien Broner is, but Adrien Broner do know who Bruce Jenner is. You gotta watch what you say because you don’t never know who you may need in life or who you may bump into in life."
What's your take on this situation?
**UPDATE** November 12th
Adrien Broner has fired back at Floyd Mayweather Jr. via a 10-minute video he posted to his YouTube channel.
AB says the reason he made the video is because he's been trying to reach Floyd by phone without success.
Check out what Broner had to say below.
Listen, man, I wasn't going to do this over the internet because at the end of the day, it's pointless, you know what I'm saying. Like, I got your number, you got my number, but I've been reaching out to you, I've been calling you, you ain't been answering the phone, so the only way I could get your attention or get you to hear or listen to my message is through the internet.
And then you say, um, you say some shit about me winning my 4th world title. Well, I learned this shit from you, right. You told me this out your own mouth. You said, "We are in boxing to get the biggest reward for less punishment." That's what you told me, so for you to go talk about one of my accomplishments and downplay something that I did, that's fucked up. Ain't no TMT fighter got 4 world championships in 4 weight classes. Only you. So how the fuck could you downplay some shit that I did. No matter, I don't give a fuck if I fought your assistant for my last fight, I'm still a 4-time world champion. At the end of the day, when it's all said and done, just like you say, when it's all said and done, I'ma go in the history books as a 4-time world champion in 4 different weight classes if I quit boxing today.
And then you said some shit like, if I'm disrespecting you, I'm disrespecting Al Haymon, but that's a contradicting ass saying because Al Haymon the one who got me the fucking fight. I ain't go out and pick these motherfuckers. I don't go out and pick these motherfuckers. I don't know these motherfuckers from Russia. I don't know him. I ain't never heard of him. So with you saying that you would be ashamed, you wouldn't call yourself a world champion, you the one disrespecting Al Haymon. And you said if I'm disrespecting Al Haymon, I'm disrespecting you, so you disrespecting yourself, nigga. How you want somebody to respect you and you disrespect yourself? Come on, Floyd. This shit lame, bruh. Pick up your phone and call me.
What you did wasn't no playa shit. That wasn't no live shit. That was some lame fuck boy shit. You went on the internet and sent out a message talking about somebody that you put on record as your little brother, you know what I'm saying. Somebody that you say you love and you care for and want to look after him and all this one shit, and the you try to diss him to the public. That ain't no cool shit. And don't get me wrong, I probably said that bullshit; I could've said that bullshit that I said in a different way, but everybody know, and you know because we talked about this on the phone before you put this weak ass diss out, I wasn't talking about you. I would never disrespect you, because when it comes to boxing, you amazing, you know. It might not never be another Floyd Mayweather and it might not never be another motherfucker that take the game on and do it how you did it, but at the end of the day, as a person, you fucked up, man. You fucked up for real, man. You falling out with some of the realest niggas that you got around you. Come on, man. At the end of the day, all I wanted from you is to teach me how to do what you did or even surpass what you did. That's all I wanted from you. That's it. I can go out here and make my own money. I can't go out here and buy my own cars, you know what I'm saying. That's all I want; I just want to learn from you. All that other shit is weak. And then you making it so personal like I'm fighting you. Nigga, I ain't fighting you. You ain't say shit about me fighting Ashley Theophane. You went on a diss like you that much in your feelings. Nigga, quit playing with me, man. Come on, man. Quiet as kept, you only fuck with a couple of them TMT fighters. You don't even fuck with them for real, man. You want me to be TMT, nigga. Quit playing with me, man. Nigga! And it is what it is. I don't fuck with none of them niggas, man. I fuck with you, and like you told me on the phone, nigga, "Everything cool. Fuck everybody if me and you cool, right?" So what the fuck was that weak ass message for, Floyd?
And then I feel like, you know, you way bigger than that. Why would you make a message to little old Adrien Broner, man. Am I that important to you, Floyd? Like, was that really on your mind when you woke up; to wake up and call Ben from FightHype and make a diss about Adrien Broner and put it out. And then you told me to grow up. Nigga, you got some fucking growing up to do, and you older than me. Man, come on, man. I'd never put out a diss and diss Floyd Mayweather, and I'd never let nobody in my camp diss Floyd Mayweather, even today, nigga, after the diss, nigga. I don't play that shit. I'm a real nigga, point blank, period, and I don't gotta say that. That shit you did was weak. That was some gay ass shit, for real. And then you gonna bring up the Bruce Jenner shit. Come on, man. Quit playing with me, Floyd. Floyd, quit play with me, bruh. When have you ever gave a fuck about...you know what? I ain't even going to go into that. You know you was wrong for that though. And for anybody out there, I have no problems with gay men or gay women. I have no problems with the homosexuality out there. It was just, you know, when I do my interviews, I don't prepare or right nothing down. It was just off the type like suicide and, you know, that's what I felt; that's just how I felt at the moment, you know.
But, you know, back to the situation, man, I'm 100% supportive of TMT. I want to see any boxer out of TMT be successful and become a world champion one day, if not already a world champion, not only because, you know, he got a lot African Americans on his team, but he got a lot of people on his team that grew up how I grew up, and I want anybody that grew up from the hood or without a silver spoon, you know, I want them to make it, you know, and that's all I'm saying, man. But it's a lot of hate coming from over your way, man, and I don't like it, and I'm real mad that you really made me stoop down to this level, because at the end of the day, man, we both bigger than this bullshit, bruh. We make too much money for this bullshit. I don't make near as much as money as you yet, but at the end of the day, we make too much money for this childish ass shit, man. Quit playing, man. Pick up your motherfuckin' phone. You got my number. Come on, man. Hit me up, bruh. If you want to talk business, we can talk business. That shit was weak, bruh. Some gay ass shit, for real. If ain't nobody else tell you, I'ma tell you because I ain't no yes man, nigga. That was some gay ass shit, real talk. Hit up your little brother, AB, 4-time world champion, nigga, 4 different weight classes, nigga. Yeah! Get the fuck outta here!
And don't send your flunkies on crash out trips and make them upload videos talking shit about me.... You call me and we can talk #FLOYD

I didn't say anything that would indicate any of my activities I would have going on outside. My grandmother, every time they said I did something, she was like, 'Not my baby.'"

The beef between Young Thug and producer Metro Boomin is escalating.
As we previously reported, Thugger got heated earlier this week when Metro said rappers were copying Future's formula by putting out one mixtape after another hoping to get hot.
Thug assumed he was talking about him and responded.
Put some names on that shit lil boy @MetroBoomin
— Young Thug ひ (@youngthug) November 10, 2015
Metro later made it clear that he wasn't referring to the rapper, but told him that if he was looking for him, he wouldn't be hard to find.
You gotta be crazy if you think I subtweeted Thug. That's corny. People are allowed to believe what they want though. True or not.

During our latest sitdown with the boxing phenom, he chopped it up with us about his next possible fight, rumors he'll be fighting Floyd Mayweather next year, and everything in between.
When asked about his potential future opponents, Ashley Theophane of Mayweather Promotions became the topic of discussion. "And to be honest, I think that's gon[na] be my next fight," Broner told us. He then went on to deny rumors that he'd be fighting retired Mayweather next year, though he's definitely ready to see the boxing great step in the ring one more time ("that's if he comes back").

We live in a world where political correctness is the rule of the day. So, you can imagine that many feminists were up in arms when sex toy designer, Brian Sloan, decided to hold the world's first beauty pageant for women's private parts.
Brian Sloan
Brian doesn't consider the contest to be misogynistic.
"They didn’t call it sexist when dildos were made from men’s penises," he said.
He used a 3D scanner to collect the data that would later be used to create a vulva that men most preferred.
1st place: $5000
2nd place: $2500
3rd place: $1250
"I was here to really to see what kinds of women would put forward their private parts for a beauty pageant," Nichi Hodgson, sex columnist for Men's Health UK, told Elite Daily. "And I've been surprised. I presumed that it would be porn performers who were looking to get a bit of free publicity for themselves. And it hasn't by and large been that. It's women that were just really interested to take part in what they saw as a little bit of a naughty experiment, I think. I found that very positive."
"I thought it was really funny and interesting," said 3rd place winner, Anita. "I decided to give it a try, because I thought maybe I could do better that these girls."

On Saturday, November 21, Miguel Cotto (40-4) will put his WBC and The Ring Magazine Middleweight titles on the line when he faces Canelo Alvarez (45-1), at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas.
The bout is sure to be a war. Each fighter's promoter is so sure their man is going to win, they're waging big bucks on the outcome.
Cotto is represented by Jay Z's Roc Nation Sports. Alvarez is a part of Oscar De La Hoya's Golden Boy Promotions camp.
The New York Post's Page Six reports that Hov and De La Hoya have bet $100,000.
if Cotto wins, De La Hoya will have to hand over a check to Jay’s Shawn Carter Foundation.
If Alavarez wins, Jay will fork over the same amount to the White Memorial Medical Center’s cancer unit
It's a win-win for both parties since the money will go to a great cause.
“The bet started taking shape when both co-promoters visited their boxers’ camps prior to fight week, boasting about their fighters’ ability,” said an insider.
You can watch the fight live on HBO Pay-Per-View, beginning at 9:00 p.m. ET/ 6:00 p.m. PT. Who are you picking to win the bout?
