The Sparta Combat League is a small mixed martial arts promotions company based out of Colorado. Apparently they have no age limit or morals because at a recent event they allowed 68-year old Ann Perez fight a 24-year old opponent named Laura Dettman.
The bout went exactly like you would have expected. Perez lost by technical knockout when was quickly taken to the ground by Dettman and punched in the face repeatedly until the referee stopped the fight. https://youtu.be/rccaw66HSzs
Colorado has to have a boxing commission. Whoever sanctioned this freak show should be fired.
The Sparta Combat League is a disgrace. I had never heard of them before now and hope they go belly up very soon.

Dante Fowler, the hulking 6'3" 260 pound defensive end for the Jacksonville Jaguars, has an easy way for women in his life settle disputes. He lets beat the hell out of each other.
TMZ Sports obtained footage from the February 1st incident involving Fowler's girlfriend and the mother of his baby.
The two women were having an argument outside of an elevator at an apartment complex in Florida. Words didn't settle the dispute so Fowler waved his hand like a referee for the two to get physical.
When Fowler was satisfied with the outcome he broke the two women up and left with his girlfriend.
Nobody got arrested because the police were not called.
Check it out below.
**UPDATE**
It shouldn't come as a surprise that Dante Fowler has issued an apology after the video surfaced of him refereeing a fight between his girlfriend and baby's mother.
Read what the third overall pick in the 2015 draft had to say below.
“I am embarrassed and have apologized for my actions to everyone involved. As a family, we have been dealing with this moment and the conflict that led to it since this occurred. The video surfacing is a sad reminder that emotions got the best of all of us. I take 100 percent responsibility for everything that happened.”
The Jaguars have released a statement as well.
“Dante brought the incident to our attention prior to the video being released and was embarrassed and remorseful. Violence of this type against others is unacceptable in our society and to our organization. We will continue to look into the incident while offering resources and providing support to Dante and his family to help them through this private matter.”
Now here is where we get down to the real reason the above statements were issued. The Jaguars want to avoid the league office stepping in and punishing Fowler. They would much rather handle this in-house.
The NFL underCommissioner Roger Goodellhas come down hard in recent years on players who get into trouble off the field. Especially actions they feel damage their brand. After all, football is America's sport and a multi-billion dollar cash cow for the 32 team owners.
Although Fowler didn't throw a punch or display any kind of violence during the fight between the two women, it's possible the league could fine or suspend him. However, the latter seems highly unlikely.
Read what the NFL had to say below about the incident below.
“These are disturbing images and we will review the matter.”
Ryan O'Halloren, a beat writer for theFlorida Times-Union, blasted the league office for getting involved in the situation via his Twitter account.
1. Pathetic for the league office to issue a statement calling the video "disturbing." When Fowler is cleared, they should announce that.

West's latest album titled "The Life of Pablo" is a Tidal exclusive. While there reports that has led to widespread bootlegging to the point where Yeezy is considering legal action against the torrent site, The Pirate Bay, it has also been just what the doctor ordered for Hov's company.
According to TMZ, Tidal subscribers have more than doubled from around 1 million to 2.5 million since "The Life of Pablo" was released. That could eventually turn into a $15 million windfall.
Due to the tremendous success of the project, the powers that be are now considering a second release that may include physical copies.

On April 8, 2016 Ice Cube, Dr. Dre, MC Ren, DJ Yella and the late, great Eazy E, together known as N.W.A., will be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
According to the Hall's Twitter page, Kendrick Lamar will have the honor of introducing the legendary group into their spot among music's elite.
"People were scared to talk about these kinds of tough situations, but because [Eazy] and the group took it upon themselves to talk about [these things], every artist is able to and they owe it to him," Kendrick told Rolling Stone in October 2015. "He's not only the birth of gangsta rap, but he's the birth of a whole legacy of being able to say what you want to say on a record and not being in fear of what others may think and not offending your own art and your own reflection."
Other 2016 inductees include Cheap Trick, Steve Miller, Chicago and Deep Purple.
The 31st Annual Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, presented by Klipsch Audio, will be at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York on Friday, April 8. HBO will broadcast the ceremony in spring 2016.
The rapper was at Justin's Bar and Grill in Miami on Sunday night, February 21, when she got into an argument with a male fan. Security intervened, but that didn't stop Trina from reaching out and putting her hand imprint on the fan's face.
If the police fail to protect Beyonce on her upcoming "Formation World Tour" in the wake of Super Bowl 50 performance criticism from Rudy Guiliani and Javier Oritz, the President of The Miami Fraternal Order Police, calling for law enforcement nationwide to boycott her shows, she won't have to worry.
During a fiery sermon in Detroit on Sunday, February 21, the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan vowed to provide the singer with safekeeping from the Fruit of Islam.
"Guiliani said, 'On the greatest platform in the world, the Super Bowl.' She started talking that black stuff. And white folks were like, 'We don't know how to deal with that.' Well, you taught us everywhere we went about the Holocaust," Farrakhan said. "But we have sympathy for you. But when one of us shows independence ... look at how you're treating Beyonce now. You gon' picket? You're not gonna offer her police protection? But the FOI will."
As we previously reported, the firestorm around Beyonce's salute to the Black Panther Party during her performance at Super Bowl 50, has led to some saying she was anti-police.
“I thought that it was really outrageous she used it as a platform to attack police officers, who are the people who protect her and protect us and keep us alive,” Giuliani said on Fox News. “And what we should be doing, in the African-American community and in all communities, is build up respect for police officers and focus on the fact that when something does go wrong, OK, we’ll work on that.”
The singer's music video for the song"Formation,"in which she celebrates her heritage and tackles police brutality, has also drawn the ire of critics.
How do you feel about Farrakhan stepping in to offer protection to Beyonce from the Fruit of Islam?
