They say words can hurt just as much as any weapon when used in a derisive manner. That's why today after many people have already forgotten, Lil Wayne's offensive lyrics about Emmett Till in the "Karate Chop" remix released a week ago still haunt his family.
Till was 14-years old when he was brutally murdered in 1955 for whistling at a white woman. While Epic Records CEO LA Reid has reached out to the family and apologized for the song and vowed to remove the offensive lyrics, Wayne has yet to communicate with Till's relatives.
The family has penned an open letter to the rapper, which Vibe has published.
"How would you feel if your child was beaten beyond recognition, body mutilated, disfigured, tortured for hours, unnecessarily shot after being beaten to death, lynched in barbed wire, weighed down by a 70-pound cotton gin fan and tossed in a river with intent to never be found again?" part of the letter reads.

Lil Flip had vowed to fight the charges stemming from his December arrest in Louisiana when he was stopped for speeding and cops found weed and an AR-15 assault rifle in his vehicle.
Yesterday the Houston rapper pleaded not guilty to possession of a firearm, possession of a schedule 1 narcotic (weed), and speeding according to TMZ.
The "Game Over" rapper has a Texas concealed handgun license that he says is also valid in 22 other states, including Louisiana
Flip also denies carrying weed with him on the day of his arrest. Instead he says they were "Black and Mild" wine flavored cigars and clove cigarettes
A pre-trial date has been set for April.

A bizarre plot by a convicted murderer to have pop star Justin Bieber castrated and killed was uncovered back in December. Now a phone call placed by the inmate to the would be hit men has been released.

Dana Martin, who's currently serving two life sentences for raping and killing a 15-year-old girl hatched a plot to have Bieber and his bodyguard murdered. Martin enlisted the help of former inmate pal, Mark Staake, and Staake’s nephew, Tanner Ruane to carry out the crime.
In the phone call released today by TMZ, Martin details plans for the hit.
“Did [Staake] go over the Bieber thing with you?" Ruane replied, “Nuh-uh. The way I like to work, dude – I like to know as little as possible. He's gonna use one of the things you gave him, and then he's gonna take care of it.”
They further discussed how Bieber and his bodyguard would be castrated then killed.
“We went and bought the hedge clippers," said Ruane. "You're gonna give me five large ($5,000) for each one I get."
Martin instructed the pair to suffocate the 18-year old singer and his bodyguard.
"Tie it really tight, and that cuts off all the oxygen, and then tie it in the back again, really tight,” Martin instructed. “That seals the deal.”
Being the idiots that they are, the plan was foiled because the phone calls were monitored. Staake and Ruane were arrested by border patrol agents after making a wrong turn into Canada. All three men now face two counts each of conspiracy to commit murder and conspiracy to commit aggravated battery

Just about everything you ever wanted to know about the average adult film star has been compiled by writer John Millward in a study titled "Deep Inside: A Study of 10,000 Porn Stars and Their Careers". Millward spend six months pouring over data from 10,000 porn stars to come up with his report.
Everything from their average height, hair color, most frequently used names, states and countries that produce the most smut stars is there in black and white for you to peruse.

Above is a face morph that takes the most popular adult film stars and averages out their faces in what could be called the statistically most common porn star — which certainly goes against the popular notion of the blonde, big-boobed, blue-eyed face of pornography.
Here you have the top 10 first and last names for both male and female pornographic actors.
Hair color broken down shows that over 60% of porn features non-blonde actors.
Also going against popular notions, films predominately showcase butts and not boobs.
Interestingly, an*l sex and facials (ejaculating on someone's face) are the sex acts most commonly performed at least once in an actress's life.
The top three types of pornographic roles for women are "teen," "MILF," and "wife."

Video vixen Rosa Acosta has had a couple of run ins with Wale and Maino. Back in 2011, Rosa made a comment on Twitter about Wale having to be saved by security at an event. The MMG rapper wasn't happy about the comment and responded by calling Rosa "an industry slide."
Wale later apologized to Rosa on Funkmaster Flex's show.
In 2010 Maino went at Rosa about her cheap shoes and said he would never settle down with her. "You would wife that b*tch? Not I.One mans wife is another's whore," Maino said at the time.
That beef also eventually blew over. According to Rosa it's common for men to diss her then later apologize.
"Society teaches guys to be tough and you cannot cry. And then one day they just cannot hold it in anymore and they just go and cry," Rosa told VladTV. "Every guy that try to say something about me...the when they see me in person or when somebody else tells them 'what the f*ck was that about?' Then they are all like crying and try to apologize and stuff like that."

There are photos being shopped around of Christopher Dorner's charred remains. TMZ has seen the photos and reports that they are gruesome.
The top of Dorner's head is missing, so is an arm and parts of a leg. His midsection is burned from the fire that consumed the cabin during the February 12 shoot-out with police.
Dorner, a former LAPD cop declared war on the department for what he called a wrongful termination after he reported a fellow officer for using excessive force during the arrest on a mentally ill man.
The LAPD determined that the claims lacked credibility and fired Dorner on September 4, 2008.
In 2010 Dorner appealed the decision, but it was upheld by Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge David P. Yaffe.
Dorner posted a manifesto earlier this year detailing his complaints and accusing the department of racism. He promised to seek revenge.
He was later charged in connection with a series of shootings from February 3 to 12 that left four people dead, including two police officers, and three police officers wounded.
Dorner was the subject of one of the largest manhunts in LAPD history. He was eventually cornered in a cabin in Big Bear, California by law enforcement on February 12. The cabin was set ablaze and Dorner allegedly took his own life with a gunshot to the head before his body burned.
“The information that we have right now seems to indicate that the wound that took Christopher Dorner’s life was self-inflicted,” sheriff’s Cpt. Kevin Lacy told reporters at a news conference.
There have been conflicting reports as to how the cabin was set on fire. Police say pyrotechnic canisters tossed into the cabin caused the fire.
"It was not on purpose. We didn't intentionally burn down that cabin to get Mr Dorner out," John McMahon, a spokesperson for San Bernardino sheriff's department said.
That statement seems to conflict with police audio in which someone can be heard saying, “f*cking burn this motherf*cker,” before police discussed their intention to, “go ahead with the plan with the burners.”
Dorner was later identified by his dental records.
