Legendary rapper Pimp C was taken from us too soon when he died in 2007 at the age of 33, but his music continues to live on.

Juicy J has announced that he will be producing the third posthumous album of unreleased material from the Port Arthur, Texas native.

12350305069?profile=original

Pimp C, real name Chad Butler, formed the group Underground Kingz (UGK) along with Bun B. The group released 2 EP's and six albums. Ridin' Dirty and Too Hard Too Swallow are considered to be classics.

12350305493?profile=original

The group also collaborated with Jay Z ("Big Pimpin") and Outkast ("International Player's Anthem) on two of their biggest hits.

UGK was highly respected throughout the industry and have been cited by artists like Action Bronson, T.I., Waka Flocka, Freddie Gibbs, Lupe Fiasco, A$AP Rocky and many more as major influences.

The group is credited with inventing the now widely used word "trill."

MC Serch and Pete Nice, better known as 3rd Bass, were big in the rap scene in the early 80's and 90's. Search also produced Nas' Illmatic album.

Serch, Nice and DJ Richie Rich stopped by Sway in the Morning recently to chop it up about how they came up with their name, "Yeezus," their favorite emcee, not receiving a royalty check from The Cactus Album because of all of the samples, their break up,now wanting fans to know they were white in the beginning, "Steppin' to the AM" originally being written for Rakim and more.

Video After The Jump

Picking on people that are down on their luck is not something most people find funny, but radio host Opie of Opie and Anthony does.

Opie and his film crew came across a homeless guy on the street who had a cake in a box that was thrown away by Starbucks. For you and I, it's probably not something we would eat. For someone living on the street that could possibly be their only meal of the day.

12350294252?profile=original

After offering to share the cake with the camera crew, the homeless man is asked to put it down on the sidewalk. Opie immediately jumps on it, completely crushing it.

12350294064?profile=original

While Opie and his crew laugh at the stunt the homeless man voices his displeasure.

12350294499?profile=original

"That's not nice," he said. "I earned that."

Since being uploaded to YouTube on Saturday (August 10) the video titled "2007 Homeless Cake Stomp" has received an overwhelming amount of negative comments. It currently has 9007 dislikes compared to 352 likes.

Opie defended himself today via his Twitter account by calling the angry viewers "uninformed dummies."

Star is back with a new edition of the Troi Torain show. He speaks on 40 Glocc winning his lawsuit against The Game, Beyonce cutting her long locks, Oprah Winfrey being discriminated against at a Switzerland store and more.

12349978878?profile=original

Radio legend Troi Torain (STAR) always delivers hard-hitting objective truth. As a culture critic he is vicious, as a businessman he is relentless, as a luminary he is un-matched.

Considered radio pioneers by many, the Star & Buc Wild show has set precedents on the urban landscape and was recently inducted into News One's "Top 20 Black Radio Jockeys Of All Time."

Star & Buc Wild made the national stage on MTV (1999) but it was their radio show on New York's Hot 97 (2000 - 2003) that secured their place in Hip-Hop history.

Star & Buc Wild's resume includes The Source magazine, MTV Networks, Hot 97, Power 104.1, Power 105.1, Pulse 87, Hip-Hop Weekly magazine, Vladtv, Thisis50, 100.3 The Beat and shot97.com and VH1 (Reality Television).

This clip is from STAR's LIVE show (12noon -- 2pm) on http://shot97.com.

Video After The Jump

50 Cent has been like a big brother and mentor to fellow Queens rapper Trav over the years. But like all families there are at times disagreements. This one just happened to play out publicly.

Back in July, Trav made some disparaging remarks on Twitter aimed at 50 that the G-Unit boss did not take kindly to.

On Saturday (August 10) 50 invited Meek Mill onstage during the G-Unit Records Listening Suite at the MixShow Live event in Atlanta. Trav also came onstage and 50 reacted by telling him to leave. When he didn't, 50 pushed him before Meek stepped in to intervene.

12350306492?profile=original

"Y'all family though," Meek said to 50. "Y'all family, don't do it onstage here."

Trav can be heard saying: "Chill out, that's my big brother."

After things calmed down Meek said that Trav and 50 would work out their differences in private.

12350307287?profile=original

"The situation [that just] happened they family," Meek told the crowd. "At the end of the day they gonna have to deal with that as family."

Later Trav retweeted messages that echoed Meek's sentiments.

Gucci Mane is being sued by a Little Rock, Arkansas promoter for allegedly pulling a stunt that left them shortchanged because of an abbreviated show.

Empire Entertainment paid the 1017 Brick Squad boss $22,500 to perform on November 22. The only problem is Gucci had also booked a show in Tennessee for the same night.

Empire learned about the other show and asked Gucci's reps about it, but were told no other show existed, which was untrue.

12350290877?profile=original

Gucci showed up in Little Rock and only performed 3 songs for a total of 15 minutes of stage time.before cutting the show short. He then drove 138 miles to perform at the other club. After finishing the Tennessee show, Gucci drove back to Little Rock and spent the night at the hotel Empire provided for him, according to TMZ.

Empire is suing Gucci, real name Radric Davis, for breach of contract and fraud. They claim the rapper killed their ticket sales by pulling the stunt. They want to be reimbursed for the $22,500 Gucci was paid. In addition, they're seeking the cost of the promotion, travel and hotel expenses.

Drake's 2013 OVO Fest was a smashing success. Artists like Lil Wayne, TLC, Diddy, Ma$e, J. Cole, Wale and more performed. One glaring absence was Frank Ocean, who was scheduled to appear, but backed out.

12350290453?profile=original

Drake spoke to Revolt TV and said he understood why Frank couldn't make it.

"I know Frank's been working hard touring everywhere, so it's understandable," Drake said. "I've had my times where I've been like, 'I can't do these shows, it's too much. So he hit me and was like, 'yo, I'm sorry man.' It's all good. It's all love."
