Jimmy Rosemond a.k.a. Jimmy Henchman will be sentenced to life in prison on October 25 in a Brooklyn federal court for his role in a cocaine distribution ring.
Prior to prosecutors making the decision to give Rosemond life they held a proffer session with the former record industry executive to question him about several known acquaintances including Bad Boy Records CEO Sean Combs.
In an article published by The Smoking Gun it was disclosed that IRS Agent Marc Van Driessche testified about some of the questioning during the proffer session.
“We had information through other witnesses that the defendant may have made an admission to Sean Combs,” Van Driessche said.
The nature of the admission was not discussed during further testimony. Rosemond said that he and Diddy had a "cordial relationship" and had done business together previously.
Rosemond stated that things turned "awkward" when an investigator showed him “naked pictures” of different women. The reason for this was not disclosed. Jimmy added that he was then “asked about entertainers sexual preferences, including, but not only, Sean Combs having sexual relationships with under age boys.”
The purpose of the proffer session was to find out if Rosemond could offer any information that investigators could use in other crimes. In turn they would give him a lighter sentence. Prosecutors were "disappointed" in what he had to say and rejected his bid for a cooperation deal.

Calvin Broadus is about to keep it all the way funky on his next release. The Long Beach native previously known by the monikers Snoop Dogg and Snoop Lion has changed his name once again. This time he wants to be known as Snoopzilla.
He's teamed up with Dam-Funk to form the group 7 Days of Funk. They will release a self-titled album on December 10th via Stones Throw Records.
The first single off of the project is "Faden Away," which is now available on iTunes. Listen to it up top and order HERE.
The project pays homage to bass guitar playing legend Bootsy Collins, who made a name for himself as a member of Parliament-Funkadelic, as well as Bootsy's Rubber Band.
“We’re babies of the Mothership,” Snoopzilla said in a news release. “I’ve had funk influences in my music my whole career. Dam-Funk is cold. He’s keeping the funk alive and I knew I had to get down with him.”

One of the members of the group Black Hippy has grown tired of articles that refer to the group as "Kendrick Lamar and Black Hippy."
All four members Jay Rock, Kendrick, Schoolboy Q and Ab-Soul are talented and have worked hard to gain recognition. Some magazines and blogs forget that fact and focus more on K. Dot because of the huge amount of success he's achieved since releasing his Good Kid, M.A.A.D City album.
Ab-Soul apparently became heated after seeing the cover of the new XXL and threatened via Twitter to exit stage left if the rest of the group members don't start getting their proper respect.
It's hard to tell how serious he is, but a good indication is the fact that he hasn't deleted the tweet since posting it on Wednesday (October 16).
