Michael Jackson and Justin Bieber have only one thing in common. They were both very successful entertainers by the time they were 19-years old. All comparisons, good or bad, should stop there.
TMZ published an article today about The King of Pop and Bieber. In it they wrote about the similarities they see regarding the two singer's alleged drug problems.
Justin Bieber is suffering from the same delusion that Michael Jackson once embraced -- putting on a false air of confidence when behind the scenes their lives are falling apart.
You'll recall the scene with MJ back in 2004 ... after his arraignment on child molestation charges. Michael famously jumped on his SUV and waived and smiled, trying to convince everyone things were ok.
Justin did the same thing Thursday as he left jail ... after being busted for DUI and resisting arrest.
As much as both of them protested ... Michael and Justin had the same Achilles' heel -- drugs. Michael was hooked on a pharmacy of prescription drugs, and Justin has an enormous problem with sizzurp.
It didn't end well for Michael. It's not too late for Justin.
Michael was very private and kept himself isolated from the world. Any suggestion that he had a drug problem during the time of that particular trial is pure speculation.
Justin surrounds himself with an entourage, lives a hard partying lifestyle and admits to taking prescription meds and smoking weed.
Do you think the comparisons are fair on unfair? Give us your opinion in the comment section below.

A 23-year old teacher has been suspended with pay pending an investigation into her side job as a model, and whether it would affect her ability to teach special needs children.
Kaitlin Pearson work's as a teacher's assistant at South Street Elementary School in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. She also models in her spare time. Someone sent photos of Kaitlin posing semi-nude to school administrators and a local newspaper.
On Friday (January 17) Superintendent of Schools André Ravenelle placed Pearson on paid administrative leave
"The only comment I would make is, we would be committed to take action on anything that we're knowledgeable of that would pose any concern of someone working with students," Ravenelle told the Sentinal Enterprise.
A note, which was typed in all capital letters was included in the package of photos that was sent out. It read: "Can you believe that this girl was hired to work with special education children in the Fitchburg schools?!!
Some residents are voicing their support for Pearson and feel like she is the victim, according to MassLive.
"What really upsets me is the person who perpetrated this." resident Joanne Huse said., "To me, that is the real crime."
"What she does in her own private life is her business," said Adam Doss, another resident of Fitchburg. He added a word of caution though. "What you put on the internet you need to be careful about.

Most parents stood behind the decision.

Jay Z and Beyonce continue to make big moves and receive accolades. The couple lands on the cover of Billboard magazine's The Power 100 issue, and also grab the No. 1 spot on the list. Others in the top 10 include Jimmy Iovine, Lucian Grainge, Coran Capshaw, Michael Rapino, Martin Bandier, Doug Morris, Irving Azoff, Len Blavatnik and Rob Light.
What is power? At its base, it's the ability to reshape the world around you according to your vision. And who in the music industry did so better in the last year than this power couple?
Leveraging their star power to release new albums in unprecedented ways—Jay Z through Samsung and Beyoncé through iTunes—they instantly changed how the industry and fans thought about interacting with music. He gave his album away; she charged a premium price for hers. But they both used the element of surprise to restore the excitement that used to accompany a new release, before that impact was dulled by the endless thunder of carefully plotted promotion.
In short, they proved that content truly is king. Or, in this case, king and queen.

The Doggfather was having a chronic break in his hotel room at 10 a.m. Friday morning (January 24) when a fire alarm went off.
Three firefighters from the Metropolitan Fire Brigade, Trevor Bowen, Owen Sullivan and James Kemp, happened to be in the hotel at the time and rushed to his room thinking there was a real fire. After discovering that there wasn't the two posed for a picture with Snoop, who posted the photos on his Instagram account
Here's what Bowen said about the incident, according to The Guardian.
"It was pretty funny. We had a brush with Mr Snoop himself. He asked us for a photo because he said he always wanted to be a firefighter. It was an amazing chance encounter, which would probably be one of the highlights of my 26 years with the MFB."
The firefighters wouldn't comment on what set off the fire alarm.
