HOUSTON (Fox26) - Takeoff, of the rap trio Migos, has died after a shooting at a Houston bowling alley, according to TMZ Hip Hop, who cited law enforcement sources and witnesses.

According to TMZ Hip Hop, the shooting happened early Tuesday morning at the bowling alley 810 Billiards & Bowling in Houston.

Houston police at the scene did confirm to FOX 26 that a shooting occurred at that bowling alley in the 1200 block of San Jacinto Street but did not confirm the identities of anyone involved in the shooting.

The shooting was reported around 2:30 a.m. Police say one person – described only as a Black male in his late 20s – died at the scene, and two other people were taken to the hospital by private vehicle.

Police say there was a private event being held at the bowling alley that ended at 1 a.m. but stretched until 2 a.m.

According to HPD, members of Migos were at the party, but they could not confirm if they had any involvement in the shooting incident.

According to TMZ Hip Hop, video shows Quavo next to Takeoff and calling for help. TMZ Hip Hop reports that Quavo was not injured.

There are multiple multiple reports this morning that Migos member Takeoff has died.

The 28-year old, born Kirshnik Khari Ball, was reportedly shot and killed in Houston following a dispute over a dice game.

ABOUT

Sean XLG is a skilled author, rising Hip Hop artist, and singer-songwriter. He holds the honor of being the first rapper to win a national music competition and is also the author of a best-selling book- ‘Hip Hop Hooray.’ The iconic artist began writing rhymes as a pre-teen in 1979 when rap music first hit mainstream radio. Growing up, Sean was inspired by the works of Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five, Treacherous Three, and Whodini, and early on, he performed in high school with DJ Smooth. 

Winning several talent-show competitions in the surrounding areas, Sean signed his first recording contract in 1988 with his debut track, “There’s A Party Inside My Car.” In 1990, he won the syndicated radio music competition on Radioscope. He recorded with LA-based Black Diamond Records in 1994 on “Bad Girls Wear Black” and teamed up with hip hop legend Charlie Prince of Rock Master Scott and the Dynamic Three in 2013 to record a series of underground hits.

New Orleans, Louisiana – October 16^th, 2021 – Rising artist Lost Dogg is a massive force to be dealt with in the world of music. One of the two projects is a full-length album titled ‘The Chronicles of M.Francis’. All set to release around Halloween this year, the album revolves around rich themes of Hip Hop. He got into the studio with a bunch of other talented musicians and put his heart and soul into the composition of the album. Lost Dogg brought onboard Donald XL Robertson, a platinum music producer from the industry. Donald and Lost Dogg worked on the songwriting, recording, and production of the entire album, perfecting and polishing every track to the best of their musical capabilities. ‘The Chronicles of M.Francis’ is ready and will be released in a month or so. The second project Lost Dogg has been working on for the past couple of years is an album titled ‘Home of the Slave’. This album was also completed with the help and assistance from Donald XL Robertson and is all set to be released around Thanksgiving this year. Releasing back to back albums for his fans to enjoy during major events and holidays, Lost Dogg is all set to elevate the moods of the listeners and bring joy to their holidays.

Apart from these two albums, the follow up to Land of the Lost is also on its way. Currently, in the works, the project is getting perfected and will be released soon after the release of ‘The Chronicles of M.Francis’ and ‘Home of the Slave’. The original album ‘Land of the Lost’ was released on July 20^th, 2020, and is currently available on most major music streaming/downloading platforms around the world.
