Joslyn James, a former porn star and Tiger Wood's mistress number (get in the back of the line, we lost count a long time ago) is upset.

She held a press conference today (Friday February 19) to let the world know that she too has feelings.

Sitting alongside her attorney Gloria Allred. Ms James wiped crocodile tears away from her eyes as she told a room full of reporters that she fell in love with Tiger after he pursued her and lied to her about his feelings.

Moments before Joslyn spoke, Gloria Allred took the microphone. She said with a straight face, that her client had given up her job as a porn star because Tiger was very jealous and couldn't stand the thought of her being with another man.

Ms. James who's real name is Veronica Siwik-Daniels, has said in the past that she became pregnant twice during her affair with Tiger.

She wants a face to face apology from the golfer.

If I were her I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for that apology.

Tiger Woods apologized for his bad behavior at a press conference today.

Reading from a prepared statement that he wrote himself, he seemed sincere.

At times looking like he was going to breakdown, Woods asked for forgiveness from those he had hurt.

He admitted that he had cheated on his wife and said he is currently seeking treatment for his behavior. The golfer said he would be working hard on his faith in Buddhism. A religion his mother had raised him to believe in, but he strayed away from.

He strongly denied that his wife Elin Nordegren had ever hit him, saying there had never been domestic violence at any point in his marriage.

In his final words before leaving the podium to hug his mother. Woods asked if people could find it in their hearts to one day "believe in him again"

All eyes are on Drake and his debut album Thank Me Later. But Drizzy is eagerly anticipating his peer Kanye West’s new project after hearing some of it firsthand.

The Canadian rapper-singer revealed to GQ magazine that he has been in Hawaii laying down tracks for both his and Mr. West’s albums.

When asked how they divide time between the two projects, Drake joked, “More like we work on his album until he gets tired.”

Little is known about West’s fifth studio effort, but the Young Money star offered his inside take. “His album is going to be one of the best hip-hop albums in the last 10 years,” he declared.

While he may be prepping his next masterpiece, ’Ye is not done promoting 2008’s 808s & Heartbreak. A video for “Coldest Winter,” directed by Nabil Elderkin, is set to debut February 24.

Tracy McGrady is heading to the New York Knicks, who now have more than $9 million of additional salary-cap space to use in free agency this summer.

The Houston Rockets, Sacramento Kings and New York Knicks have agreed to terms that expanded the Houston-Sacramento deal into a three-way trade.

The Knicks acquired McGrady and Sergio Rodriguez from Sacramento; the Rockets get Kevin Martin and Hilton Armstrong from Sacramento, and Jordan Hill and Jared Jeffries from New York.

"This deal is about putting a team together, players who can help us now and in the future," general manager Daryl Morey said. "We're excited about how this sets us up for now and especially in the next year."

Houston also has the right to swap first-round picks with New York in 2011, and the Rockets also get New York's 2012 first-round pick.

Sacramento obtains Houston's Carl Landry and Joey Dorsey and New York's Larry Hughes.

A source close to the negotiations told ESPN NBA Insider Chad Ford that the Knicks' 2011 pick is top-1 protected, and the 2012 pick is top-5 protected.

The deal puts the Knicks more than $30 million below the salary cap on July 1, when they will pursue several members of a free-agent class headed by LeBron James, Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade.

Depending on where the 2010-11 salary cap is set, the Knicks could have enough room to make maximum offers to two free agents, which was the lofty goal team president Donnie Walsh set for himself upon taking over nearly two years ago. The Knicks have not been below the salary cap since 1996, when they signed free agents Allan Houston and Chris Childs.

The Rockets and Kings agreed on a McGrady trade late Wednesday night, and the Knicks -- who had been in detailed discussions with the Rockets for weeks -- came in as the third team with basically the same package they were originally offering to Houston.

McGrady's nearly $23 million salary comes off the books July 1, as does Al Harrington's $10 million contract and Chris Duhon's $6 million deal.

"I have tremendous respect for [owner] Leslie Alexander and have enjoyed playing for the Rockets over the last six years," McGrady wrote. "It has definitely been the most profound part of my career. I've learned a lot about myself from various situations, both good and bad that have occurred here. It was my hope when I came to Houston that I wouldn't leave, but I do understand this is the business side of basketball."

The Knicks also reached agreement Thursday on a trade sending Nate Robinson and a second player to Boston for Eddie House, Bill Walker and J.R. Giddens.

What should have been a night of celebration ended in controversy for Jay-Z.

Hov was in the UK to attend and perform at the Brit Awards (Tuesday February 16).

The Brooklyn rapper took home an award for best international male. After the show he attended a party at club Merah, in Oxford Circus, central London. That's where things started to go wrong according to UK newspaper The Daily Star.

According to their report, white people were not allowed into the VIP area where Jay-Z was partying.

One party goer said “The security guards were happy to let in all party-goers apart from the white people"

Kim Dawson who wrote the article for The Daily Star had this to say.

"I’ve never felt so intimidated I’VE been to countless showbiz bashes before but never have I met meatheads like those at the Jay-Z do.

This was my first experience at London’s new Merah venue, hosted by the Collective Entertainment Group, and it will be my last.

Jay-Z is a megastar and yet it was clear white people were not welcome in his VIP area.

While the red rope was lifted for black guests to breeze through, let’s just say it stayed down if your face didn’t fit.

And that included me, a Scottish blonde, despite me clearly being a guest of the double-BRIT winners JLS.

I have never felt so intimidated. It left me feeling like a mauled dog.

Security didn’t care a jot as drinks crashed around heads. I feared someone would pull out a weapon if it meant getting an inch closer to Jay-Z.

Disgusting behaviour in a modern world at a so-called members’ club. I wouldn’t go back if you paid me."

I personally find this all hard to believe since Jay-Z is known to be friends with Chris Martin of Coldplay and his wife Gwyneth Paltrow. He has also in recent years headlined many concerts and festivals that are traditionally for predominately white audiences.

VIP areas for stars are always hard to get into. Sounds like this particular writer got her feelings hurt by being turned away.

These things happen and should not be blamed on race.

NEW YORK – A delusional fan who unleashed his crude fantasies about Ashanti in a battery of text messages to her mother was sentenced Thursday to two years in jail, though his judge rued not being able to send him to psychological treatment instead.

A downcast Devar Hurd said he didn't mean to annoy or alarm the Grammy Award-winning R&B singer and her family when he sent the messages. Some included photos of his genitals and a picture of the family's Long Island home with a comment about stopping by to visit.

"My intent was not to harm," he told the judge. "I always wish the best for (Ashanti)."

Hurd, 31, was convicted in December of stalking and aggravated harassment. Ashanti's mother and manager, Tina Douglas, said she was glad to see the case closed with his sentencing.

"We're really so glad to have this behind us, and we feel justice has been served," she said through a spokeswoman.

Douglas told jurors the messages disgusted her and spurred her to hire extra security personnel. One message envisioned Hurd someday living with the multiplatinum-selling singer; another said his mental state "is very fragile with all this."

Hurd said the messages were intended as friendly repartee, "sex texting" and jokes, and he didn't think Douglas would mind them.

The would-be rapper from Griffith, Ind., didn't raise any psychiatric issues during his trial, where he gave jurors a lengthy account of what he described as a friendship and brewing business relationship with Douglas.

She said she didn't know Hurd and told him to leave her alone, to no avail.

After Hurd was convicted, doctors diagnosed him as having a delusional disorder, Manhattan state Supreme Court Justice Thomas Farber said. But months of efforts to arrange probation with mental-health treatment were unsuccessful, in part because Hurd has nowhere to live in New York, Farber said.

He gave Hurd the maximum possible sentence for the misdemeanor offenses, noting the fear Douglas said she felt because of the messages. Farber recommended psychiatric treatment for Hurd in jail.

"It's obvious to me that you need to get help," the judge said.

Prosecutors, who pushed for the maximum sentence, said Hurd should be held responsible for his explicit text-message blitz despite his psychological problems.

"Even if he believes that Ashanti was in love with him, his conduct was not that of a man wooing a woman. He was not sending her flowers," but rather barraging her mother with messages any parent would find objectionable, Assistant District Attorney Carolina Holderness said.

Hurd has been jailed since his July arrest, time that will count toward his sentence.

Ashanti didn't testify at the trial, and no one in her family attended Hurd's sentencing.

Raised in Glen Cove, N.Y., Ashanti signed her first record deal at 14. She has recorded hits including "Foolish" and "Only U."

She also has acted in such films as "Coach Carter" and "John Tucker Must Die" and starred as Dorothy in an off-Broadway revival of "The Wiz" this summer.

(AllHipHop News) Canadian rapper Drake has come forward to clear his name in regards to a group of phony booking agents and false promoters, who continue to use his name for financial gain.

The latest string of fake bookings were concentrated in the south. In all instances, the individuals have misrepresented themselves as Drake’s manager in order to secure and then pockets deposits for the phony shows.

It has been brought to my attention that false promoters and booking agents are illegally using my name and likeness to promote concerts and club appearances for their own financial gain,” Drake told AllHipHop.com in a statement today (February 18).

It is frustrating for me to hear that many of my fans, who like myself are innocent victims in these scams, have been misled due to the greed of these promoters,” Drake stated. “I apologize to any fan that has been a victim of these circumstances or feels let down by false advertising.”

Drake is co-managed by Bryant Management and HipHopSince1978. His bookings are handled by International Creative Management (ICM).

In November 2009, it was revealed that an imposter was utilizing Twitter and Gmail to secure deposits by posing as Cortez Bryant, the CEO of Bryant Management.

That individual was never apprehended.

Please be assured that my team and I take these matters seriously and are actively cooperating with authorities. I cannot thank my fans enough for supporting my music and all that I do,” Drake stated.

Riding the success of his acclaimed sophomore album Love vs. Money as well as two Grammy Awards for songwriting, The-Dream has decided to crown himself the king of love. The title track of his third album Love King hit the Internet Wednesday (February 17) and it seems like the self-professed "radio killer" may have another hit on his hands.

"Love King" follows the proven formula of uptempo Atlanta snap-pop with The-Dream spelling out his desire for a special lady to get to know him better. "L to the O, V to the E, K to the I, N to the G/ I don't know how he treat you, how they do it where you at/ But all I'm tryin' to say is you don't know me like that."

The-Dream hit his Twitter page to thank his fans for their support of the first leaked track. "Thank you all so much for embracing the single! The album is deeper and I push further, but first things first." He also promised he had a lot more in store for them.

"I will drop four singles and four videos before May 17! And as long as my songs make the girls happy, I'm happy. I do it for them. I do it for the promise of love. I just want to give y'all all the love you deserve!"

The-Dream told Rap-Up.com in January that the album was finished and scheduled for release in May, insisting that it was his best work yet.

He hit up Twitter again to get his fans' opinions on what they wanted next from the singer/ songwriter/ producer. "Tell me what y'all want next. Uptempo, slow, whatever, the album is deeper than space

*WTF?* Elton John Says Jesus Was Gay!

Over the years Elton John has always been flamboyant and outspoken. Traits his fans have grown to love about him.

Even if you didn't like some of the things he has said or done in the past you certainly respected his music and fortitude in overcoming a drug addiction.

But he might have thrown a lot of goodwill out of the window with his most recent quote that will certainly offend Christians.

When asked by Parade for his take on Christianity this is what he had to say.

"I think Jesus was a compassionate, super-intelligent gay man who understood human problems. On the cross, he forgave the people who crucified him. Jesus wanted us to be loving and forgiving. I don't know what makes people so cruel. Try being a gay woman in the Middle East -- you're as good as dead."

Say What? I'm not sure what he was thinking, but he won't hear the end of this for a long time

After serving nine years in prison for busting off during the infamous shootout in Club New York where he was allegedly defending Diddy, then having Diddy turn his back on him during the trial, and then being deported to Belize upon being released last October, most of us were expecting Shyne to come out spitting nothing but hot fi-yah. Then earlier this month, “All My Life,” a collaboration featuring him that was slated for DJ Khaled’s upcoming album, Victory, dropped. Shyne-Po sounded sluggish, bored, and slightly Eli Porter-ish. Of course Khaled came to his senses, and left the subpar track off the final tracklisting.

Thank God for major labels! Karma is smiling the fuck down on Shyne as our homey Miss Info announced that he had signed a seven-figure deal with Def Jam. The crazy thing is this is the third allegedly million dollar contract Po has gotten. We can only speculate that the ink must have already been dry when “All My Life” came out, so Def Jam had no choice but to act like they were happy and excited about their newest addition. Then again, maybe it wouldn’t have made a difference because labels have always believed the hype and opened their wallets to prove it. Shyne won’t be the first or last rapper to rape a label, er, rob a label, er, not hold up his end of the bargain. Take a look at some of Rap’s biggest contractual fails over the years

Atrist: Shyne
Label/Year: Bad Boy 98/2000, Def Jam/2004
Payout: Rumored to be $1 million each
Bad Boy won a bidding war in 1998 for Shyne, a Brooklyn young buck being touted as “the next Biggie,” but his relations with the label soured two years later when Puff threw him under the bus and backed up… twice. After taking the fall, and the 10 years, in Diddy’s club shooting case, Shyne eventually severed all ties with the label but not before he saw his debut achieve platinum status. Staying true to the g-code while on the stand kept his street credibility en tact, and prompted a second bidding war over the imprisoned MC in 2004 (based mostly around speculation of early parole that year). Def Jam won and, despite Po’s attempts to get free failing miserably, released a miserable album of Frankensteined outtakes and literally phoned-in freestyles. Needless to say we totally get why they’d gamble another milli on him..

Artist: The Lox

Label/Year: Bad Boy/1999
Payout: $3 Million
The Lox had a fallout with Diddy and Bad Boy back in 1999 after they were only able to Harlem shake their shiny-suited asses to gold certification. Their original team, Ruff Ryders, who’d temporarily superceded Puff as the flavor of the month, ended up paying roughly $3 million to buy out their contract (but not their publishing—the three’re gonna have to pry that out of Puff’s cold dead hands!). Despite it’s more street sound, and Swizz laced beats, the LOX subsequent album failed to find the same success as their debut, and now 10 years later they’re resigning to Bad Boy. Let the LOX go… home.

Artist: Kool G Rap

Label/Year: Rawkus/2000
Payout: Rumored to be $1 million
Old heads and backpackers from sea to shining sea rejoiced when the Kool Genius of Rap was signed to the indie powerhouse Rawkus for a rumored $1 million. In an effort to dig themselves out of the hole, Rawkus put pressure on the pop hit-less legend to produce a pop hit. After years, and hundreds of thousands of dollars, of recording, both parties lost hope and The Giacana Story LP was was released in 2002 on Koch, where apparently the road to the riches ends

Artist: Mobb Deep

Label/Year: G-Unit/2005
Payout: undisclosed amount + 2 recoupable Porsches
Mobb Deep had a major bidding war after releasing their Free Agents mixtapes, and courting different labels. They were originally going to go with Interscope, but chose to sign with 50 and even got G Unit tattoos as a show of solidarity. Well, Blood Money didn’t do that great and fans didn’t seem to be feeling Hollywood Hav and Las Vegas P. Now P is in jail, Hav has been quiet, and 50 announced recently that Mobb Deep is no longer signed to G Unit. At least they still got those tattoos, though

Artist: Papoose

Label/Year: Jive/2006
Payout: $1.5 Million
After winning an ‘05 Justo Award for underground rapper of the year and landing a notable feature on Busta Rhymes’ “Touch It (Remix),” Jive signed him for $1.5 million. The deal turned out to be a ginormous disappointment, with Pap citing “creative differences” upon parting ways with the label in ’07. His debutNacirema Dream never surfaced, which we can’t understand being that we know lots of girls who want to hear songs about fitted hats and letters being slaughtered.

Artist: Nas

Label/Year: Def Jam/2006
Payout: $3 million
After Nas and Jay-Z squashed their beef, God’s Son walked into the lion’s den and signed with Jay-Z who was the president of Def Jam at the time. He didn’t do as well as expected, only selling gold with Hip Hop Is Dead and his Untitled albums. On top of that, most of that money he got is probably going towards those $44,000 alimony payments to his ex-wife Kelis. Ouch.

Artist: Jim Jones

Label/Year:Columbia/2007
Payout: rumored $1 mil
After almost going gold independently with Hustler’s P.O.M.E. (Product Of My Environment) on E1, and scoring a top 5 hit with “We Fly High,” Jones’ stock was at an all-time high. The rollout for his major label debut was augmented by an off-Broadway play, plenty of take-out from Philippe Chow’s, and declarations from Dame Dash that it was on par with Jay-Z’s Reasonable Doubt. Unfortunately Pray IV Reign barely sold 40,000 its first week. Now Capo is back at E1. We’re guessing his takeout comes in Styrofoam cartons now.

Artist: Mariah Carey

Label/Year: EMI Records/2001
Payout: $80 Million
Given that Mariah had sold a shitload of albums and was the biggest female artist at the time, it seemed like a good idea when EMI gave her a $20 million advance per album, a $6 million music-video production fund, and about $1.5 million to promote four singles. Then Carey went on TRL with an ice cream cart, did a strip-tease routine for Carson Daly, suffered a nervous breakdown, made a piece-of-shit movie, Glitter, and an accompanying soundtrack that flopped. EMI Records quickly came to its senses and bought out her contract for $24 million.
