Considered a radio pioneer by many, STAR has set precedents on the urban landscape and was recently inducted into News One's "Top 20 Black Radio Jockeys Of All Time."

STAR & BUC WILD made the national stage on MTV (1999) but it was their radio show on New York's Hot 97 and Power 105 (2000 - 2006) that secured their place in Hip-Hop history.

Eminem has probably popped the top on an ice cold non-alcoholic beverage to celebrate the news that The Marshall Mathers LP 2 will claim the top spot on the Billboard 200 charts when final numbers are announced next week.

Billboard reports that based on early projections the album will move between 700,000 and 750,000 units it's first week in stores.

Those numbers are good enough to push MMLP2 past Drake's Nothing Was the Same (658,000), for the second biggest opening week sales of 2013. Justin Timberlake has this year's highest first week total. His disc The 20/20 Experience sold 968,000 it's debut week.

In other Eminem news, Duck Down Records, has released the full version of Eminem's remake of Black Moon's classic "I Got Cha Opin.' Peep that up top.

What was supposed to be a celebration of the Boston Red Sox winning the world championship turned into a brutal brawl that left several people knocked out and others head stomped.

The fight started outside of a bar on Saturday, November 2, when a man punched another guy who was mouthing off to his friends. That sparked an all out melee.

By the time it was over 3 men were hospitalized and two had been arrested.

23-year old Liam Browne and 21-year old Kieran Boyle were arraigned Tuesday in Boston Municipal Court on assault and battery charges. Both men are accused of stomping on the heads of people who were already on the ground, according to CBS Boston.

Browne was released on $1000 cash bail. Boyle is still being held on $4000 cash bail. They are both due back in court in February. Police plan to use video of the brawl obtained by Barstools to find and arrest moire participants.

Original Hot Boys member Turk is carrying a heavy heart right now. The rapper's father, Tab Virgil Sr., was killed by a hit-and-run driver in New Orleans on Wednesday (October 30). He was 52-years old.

Turk, real name Tab Virgil Jr., has been working hard to make sure his father gets a proper burial.

In a vlog released today Turk says he has reached out to Lil Wayne, Birdman, Slim and Mannie Fresh for assistance, but nobody has returned his calls.

"My daddy got killed, y'all already know what it is. Y'all look at the news," Turk said. "I just want y'all to know ain't no love lost. I'm still gonna be real. I can't make a n*gga be real. But it is what it is. Y'all showed me on too many occasions. But right now, this the last straw."

Turk took to Twitter to write that the same thing happened when his brother was killed. He reached out for help while he was still in prison, but got no replies from his industry friends.

The funeral service will be held for Mr. Virgil Sr. this Thursday.
