HOUSTON, Texas (KHOU) – Authorities in Texas are investigating after a plumber found what is apparently a fetus inside of a pipe in an apartment complex.

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office responded to a complex in Houston around 10:30 a.m. Monday.

Detectives said a plumber working outside of 1 of the apartment buildings found a fetus when he opened a pipe outside of 1 of the buildings. The fetus is believed to just be weeks old.

Neighbors said they had been complaining about backups since Friday.

A woman from the building the pipe was connected to was later taken away in an ambulance.

Neighbors were on the scene to find out what had happened.

“All I saw when I looked out my window, which is right up there, was all the police cars like, ‘What the heck is going on?’ Never thought anything like this in a million years,” one neighbor, Linda McQueen, said.

The incident remains under investigation. Detectives said it is possibly related to a miscarriage.

“We hope whoever it is comes forward & gets some medical attention because that’s sad to lose a baby like that & not tell nobody,” neighbor Paula Smith said.

According to the March of Dimes, about 80% of miscarriages happen before the 12th week of pregnancy.

Medical and emotional support is highly recommended when they occur.

When news crews first arrived at the scene, they said another woman was seen being taken away in handcuffs.

It is unclear whether this incident is related to the woman taken by ambulance.

POTTSTOWN, Pa. (AP) — An escaped murderer was captured Wednesday after eluding hundreds of searchers for 2 weeks, bringing relief to anxious residents of southeastern Pennsylvania who endured sleepless nights as he hid in the woods, broke into suburban homes for food, changed his appearance & fled under gunfire with a rifle pilfered from a garage.

Authorities used thermal imaging from aircraft to pinpoint a possible location & then used ground forces to capture escaped inmate Danelo Souza Cavalcante.

Aerial video footage showed a handcuffed man in a gravel lot & wearing a grey, long-sleeve shirt with law enforcement officers holding both arms. Later, the man stands at the back of an armored vehicle while an officer cuts the back of the shirt from neck to waist.

The end to the search for Cavalcante, 34, unfolded just beyond Philadelphia’s suburbs, in an area of woods, rolling farmland & a county park. The search forced schools to close, led to warnings for homeowners to lock their doors & blocked roads.

Cavalcante escaped from the Chester County jail in southeastern Pennsylvania on Aug. 31 by crab-walking up between 2 walls that were topped with razor wire, then jumping from the roof & dashing away. He had been awaiting transfer to state prison after being sentenced days earlier for fatally stabbing his girlfriend & is wanted in connection with another killing in Brazil.

Meda Monsta's stage name is as distinctive as his music.
He explained that his stage name was born out of his
early days in the game. "My stage name was a play on
how I created my lines when I was younger. Metaphors
and punchlines were my main focus so I became Meda."
However, the "Monsta" part of his name was a spontaneous
addition, thanks to another artist named Rudder.


Meda Monsta recalled, "Years later, another artist from
around my way named Rudder just called me Meda Monster
under a post, and I ran with it. S/O to Rudder for that
one." Unique Style and Message Meda Monsta's music ischaracterized by its bluntness and the profound lessons
hidden within his lyrics. "My music is pretty blunt,
and there's always a jewel I drop or a lesson in a line
to take with you and think about," he explained. What

"My music is unique because it's all my experiences
wrapped in one song or album. No one can tell my story
but me, and that's what makes it a one-of-one."


Collaborations and Ambitions In the interview, Meda Monsta
talked about his recent collaboration with Trapman Kane on
the track "Turn On Me," which was released on
September 3rd. He described the song as a "very
tough record about loyalty and progression."

When asked about future collaborations, he hinted at
aiming high. "Hopefully, the next one will be with an
artist a lot of people are familiar with. I'm looking
for a challenge." Influences and Aspirations When asked
which mainstream artist he would most compare himself
to, Meda Monsta mentioned two hip-hop legends, Jadakiss
and 2Pac. "I'd have to say it's hard for me to answer that
question because I'm influenced by a lot of greats.

I'm like a Jadakiss/2Pac. I say Pac because of my energy
and aggression and my storytelling records get pretty
detailed. I say Kiss because of slick lines, beat
selection, and cadences; he can hop on anything, so can
I." The Path to Success For Meda Monsta, success in the
music industry is not just about fame but also about smart
business decisions. "I feel like my business decisions
play a big part in that. Once I grab a big-name feature
and paid shows begin to come into play because of that,
the rest will take care of itself." He emphasized that his
goal is not to be the next Drake but to build a fanbase
that supports his family. Looking Ahead When asked where
he sees himself one year from now, Meda Monsta had a clear
vision. "I see myself with a larger fanbase and my name on
a known festival flyer to perform for and that big-name
feature. I'm set on that goal for next year."

Meda Monsta's journey from Willingboro, NJ, to the hip-hop
scene is marked by authenticity, a unique storytelling
ability, and a strong sense of ambition. With his eye
on collaborations with big-name artists and a growing

Houston Rockets guard Kevin Porter Jr. was arrested in New York City on Monday for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend, former WNBA player Kysre Gondrezick.

Porter, 23, is in custody at the NYPD’s 17th Precinct in midtown Manhattan.

Porter returned early Monday morning from an evening out to the Millennium Hotel in Times Square, where he & Gondrezick were staying. Gondrezick was upset with the late hour of his return and locked the door, according to police sources. Once he entered with the help of hotel security, Porter beat up the woman.

The extent of Gondrezick’s injuries was not immediately clear.

Domestic assault charges are pending against Porter.

Porter was drafted with the No. 30 pick in the 2019 NBA draft out of the University of Southern California, but has developed into a star player for the Rockets. He had his best career season in 2022-23 with 19.2 points, 5.3 rebounds and 5.7 assists per game.

Gondrezick, 26, played college basketball for Michigan and West Virginia, before being drafted No. 4 overall in the 2021 WNBA draft by Indiana. She played 1 season for the Fever before being waived. She has not played the last 2 WNBA seasons & is currently a free agent.

Porter was previously arrested in November 2020 in Ohio on a weapons charge, but a grand jury declined to indict him. However, the Cleveland Cavaliers made him inactive for the first half of the season & he was traded to Houston in January 2021.
