On her latest record “Real Sick,” which features Jadakiss, Lil Kim makes it absolutely clear that she’s “married to the game" and that "we don’t do dates.” The notion is witty, but also quite clear considering the Queen Bee’s long-standing music career.
Hard Core 2K14, a nod to her classic 1996 debut Hard Core, will find Kim delivering her first full-length project in nearly half a decade. It also arrives just a two months after the femcee gave birth to her newborn daughter, Royal Reign. Balancing motherhood and music, Kim tells REVOLT that fans can expect “a little mixture of everything” on her new material, which is something she’s been proving on the string of freestyles released these last couple of weeks.
“I don’t feel the need to change up my style or change the things that I used to rap about,” she says. “I definitely have more to rap about.” Besides the freestyles over tracks like Bobby Shmurda’s “Hot Ni—a” to Iggy Azalea’s “Fancy” and even Rae Sremmurd’s “No Flex Zone,” Kim will prove just how much more material she has to say on Hard Core 2K14.
“I think motherhood has made me a better person a better artist and I think motherhood has just made me not give a f—k,” she revealed. “Everything I do is for [Royal Reign]."
As for specifics on the 12-track project, Kim says Hard Core 2K14 will "defintiely include original songs." Among the many tracks will be the Jadakiss-featured "Real Sick" and "Trendsetter," which happens to be one of Kim's favorites.
"'Trendsetter’ represents the evolved me," she said, before adding, "Because that’s basically who I am."
"I’ve been a trendsetter since I walked into this industry. It’s a great thing to have people follow me and want to dress like me and want to be like me, that’s the most rewarding thing about being in the industry.’"
Check out more from Kim's sit-down with REVOLT above and stay tuned for more.

Since 2006 when he was hired as the commissioner of the NFL, Roger Goodell has made it clear that you either do things his way or hit the highway.
He implemented new rules regarding player conduct and handed out numerous fines and suspensions. When Goodell punished the New Orleans Saints in 2012 for the bounty scandal he told them ignorance was no excuse.
Now he finds himself in a similar situation. He has repeatedly denied seeing video of Ray Rice knocking out his then fiancee, Janay Palmer, prior to TMZ publishing it earlier this week.
"We assumed that there was a video. We asked for video. But we were never granted that opportunity," Goodell told CBS on Tuesday.
Rice was suspended for 2 games by the league initially. After the video went viral he was cut by the Baltimore Ravens and suspended indefinitely by the NFL.
A new Associated Press report cites unnamed sources as saying the video was delivered to the NFL in April. The AP also heard a 12-second voicemail from someone in the NFL office from April 9, confirming the tape had arrived and been viewed. A female voice expresses thanks and says: "You're right. It's terrible."
That means Goodell is either lying or doesn't know what's going on in his own office. Either scenario is unacceptable for someone in his position.
The National Organization for Women want him gone.
"The NFL has lost its way. It doesn’t have a Ray Rice problem; it has a violence against women problem," NOW said in a statement. "The only workable solution is for Roger Goodell to resign, and for his successor to appoint an independent investigator with full authority to gather factual data about domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault and stalking within the NFL community, and to recommend real and lasting reforms. The NFL sets the example for college, high school, middle school and even elementary school football programs. And the example it is setting right now is simply unacceptable.
Former FBI Director Robert Mueller has been hired to probe the league's investigation and how it gathered evidence in the case. What he finds out could go a long way in determining whether Goodell will still have a job in a month.

Vivid Entertainment, the porn company that brought us smut films from Kim Kardashian, Tela Tequila, Paris Hilton, Montana Fishburne, Farrah Abraham and other B-list celebrities believe they have their hands on the Mona Lisa of XXX films.
TMZ reports that Vivid CEO, Steve Hirsch has seen clips from a video that he believes shows Iggy Azalea with an ex-boyfriend.
Hirsch has offered the Australian rapper a multi-million dollar deal to sign off on what he feels will be the highest grossing celebrity sex tape ever released.
The problem for his is, Iggy denies that it is her in the video. Her camp says she is ready to file a lawsuit over the footage. So it looks like Hirsch may be out of luck of this one because without Iggy's consent the tape can't be released.
**UPDATE** September 12
Iggy Azalea's sex tape will probably never see the light of day because the rapper is now saying she may have been under the age of 18 when it was filmed.
After initially denying that it was her in the tape, the "Fancy" hit maker now claims an ex-boyfriend is trying to sell it out of spite, according to TMZ.
Porn giant Vivid Entertainment has offered Iggy millions to sign off on the release of the smut flick, but her lawyers told TMZ she has no intention of doing that. They claim a "spurned business suitor" (her ex-boyfriend) is trying to ruin her career. They added that it was filmed "without her knowledge or consent."
Iggy has said in past interviews and in songs that she came to the U.S. on her own at the age of 16.

NEW YORK (Associated Press) — With the solemn toll of a bell and a moment of silence, the nation paused Thursday to mark the 13th anniversary of the Sept. 11 terror attack at the hallowed site that has been transformed into a bustling plaza.
Family and friends of those who died read the names of the nearly 3,000 people killed in New York, at the Pentagon and near Shanksville, Pennsylvania.
Thelma Stuart, whose husband, Walwyn Wellington Stuart Jr., 28, was a Port Authority Police Department officer, said the nation should pray for its leaders, "that God will grant them wisdom, knowledge and understanding on directing them on moving forward."
The sad roll call paused only four times: to mark the times when the first plane struck the World Trade Center, when the second plane struck, when the first tower fell and when the second tower fell.
Adriana Fiori, reading her father Paul's name, wept. "You put me to bed 13 years ago not knowing it would be your last time," she said. "I miss you so much, Daddy."
Joanne Barbara, whose husband of 30 years, Gerard Barbara, was a FDNY captain who died, urged all to feel for not only the lost but "those who continue to suffer from the aftermath."
"May God bless America, and may we never, never forget," she said.
Little about the annual ceremony at ground zero has changed. But so much around it has.
For the first time, the National Sept. 11 Memorial Museum — which includes gut-wrenching artifacts and graphic photos of the attacks — is open. Fences around the memorial plaza have come down, integrating the sacred site more fully with the streets of Manhattan while completely opening it up to the public and camera-wielding tourists.
A new mayor is in office, Bill de Blasio, one far less linked to the attacks and their aftermath than his immediate predecessors. And finally, a nearly completed One World Trade Center has risen 1,776 feet above ground zero and will be filled with office workers by this date in 2015, another sign that a page in the city's history may be turning.
But painful memories were still acute and lingering. Franklin Murray of New York wore a shirt with a photo of his brother, Harry Glen, who worked at Cantor Fitzgerald, one of the companies that lost the most workers.
He said it gave him a "funny feeling" to know there was now a memorial. He has come to the ceremony before but "before it was getting harder, so I forced myself to get down here."
"Coming down to the area is rough," he said.
For some, the increasing feel of a return to normalcy in the area threatens to obscure the tragedy that took place there and interfere with their grief.
"Instead of a quiet place of reflection, it's where kids are running around," said Nancy Nee, whose firefighter brother, George Cain, was killed in the attacks. "Some people forget this is a cemetery. I would never go to the Holocaust museum and take a selfie."
But for others, the changes are an important part of the healing process.
"When I first saw (One World Trade Center), it really made my heart sing," said Debra Burlingame, whose brother Charles Burlingame was the pilot of the plane that crashed into the Pentagon. "It does every time I see it because it's so symbolic of what the country went through."
"I want to see it bustling," she said. "I want to see more housing down there; I want to see it alive and bursting with businesses."
The memorial plaza will be closed to the public for most of the day and available only to family members. It will reopen at 6 p.m., at which point thousands of New Yorkers are expected to mark the anniversary at the twin reflecting pools where the towers once stood.
The first ceremony at the site was held six months after the Twin Towers fell and was organized by then-Mayor Michael Bloomberg and his aides. Bloomberg, who took office just three months after the attacks, remained in charge, acting as the master of ceremonies for the next decade. He attended on Thursday, along Rudy Giuliani who was mayor during the attacks, along with New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, and New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo.
