Video After The Jump

Mizzay Entertainment and Bricksquad Monopoly came together for First Annual Celebrity Bowling competition at the BET Hip Hop Awards. Unfortunately, things didn't go as planned as a scrap broke out.

Waka's PR team issued a statement on the incident.

To be clear, while taking one of many photos with a fans during the evening, an artist who had previously been under his helm approached him with malice, words were said and our client was forced to defend himself. The aftermath, though dramatic, left no one seriously injured and saw the majority of the crowd dispersed without incident.

Nobody got seriously hurt, but somebody is definitely knocked the f*ck out on the floor in the footage below.

Video After The Jump

A 14-year old from Brooklyn, New York could teach a few rappers a thing or two about swagger.

Brian Bradley rapped a song about keeping your eyes off of his youthful looking mother, but not before he shocked the judges, specifically Simon Cowell.

Cowell was making a comment to fellow judge L.A. Reid, about Bradley sounding like him when he commented that he didn't have a deal yet because of politics.

"Yo, wait a minute Simon, I see you," Bradley said, temporarily stunning Cowell. "What is your problem man are you serious? I saw you man. I swear to my life you're lucky we're not in the streets. Because if this was the streets this is what I'd say to you." said Bradley before asking the soundman to cue his music.

By the time Bradley was done he had won over the crowd and the judges.

"You are arrogant, obnoxious, argumentative, but you are one of the most talented young people I've head in a long, long time," Cowell told him.

L.A. Reid was just as complimentary.

"I used to run this label called Def Jam and all the years that I was there I was looking for you, but you never walked in. So I'm the luckiest guy in the world that you walked into my life today."

Bradley who goes by the rap name The Astronomical Kid, released a music video for the song last October.

Video And Poll After The Jump

Red Cafe sat down with 93.7 radio hosts Jenny Boom Boom and DJ Craig G to get them up to speed on what he's been up to.

Red talked about his upcoming album dropping February 14, 2012, Machine Gun Kelly being on the Bad Boy team, Diddy and Papoose calling himself the "King Of New York."

"He's entitled to his own opinion," Cafe said. "It's like me saying Nikes are better that Adidas, it's my opinion. It doesn't offend me. Anybody on the block could say that. You can have your own opinion. He might really feel that way. But then you look at the numbers and can you even be in those kind of conversations. If somebody's asking me those conversations gotta be had with people like Jay-Z because of the amount of work he's put in and the amount of albums sold. There's other people that might not say Jay-Z -- I would say Jay-Z."

Who in your opinion is the real King Of New York?

Lil Wayne nabs the cover for Vibe's October/November issue

Weezy channeled Jimi Hendrix by dressing up as the legendary guitarist for the shoot.

Although the Young Money rapper took shots at Jay-Z on his latest album, Tha Carter IV, Wayne insists he has no real issues with anyone.

"There's no competition [with any artists]. Music isn't about competition no more. All the gangster rappers are happy, all the skateboard rappers are happy, all the white rappers are happy. ... Everybody just happy to do music these days," Weezy told Vibe via MTV News. "There are no problems. That sh*t died a long time ago with them old-ass rappers. We are just making music, making money and having fun — feeding our families. Competition is for the old guys."

Wayne also insists he doesn't feel pressured by, and isn't jealous of Drake's success.

"I don't look at it like that. Drake is my artist. If he wasn't my artist, then yeah maybe," Wayne said. "But that's my artist. He's not [just] a friend. We're more than friends. It's business. It would be impossible for it to be a competition. I mean, I'm the guy's boss."

Video After The Jump

Kid Cudi visited Conan O'Brien's show yesterday with tales of male groupies kissing him onstage and rocking his new Nike Mag sneakers.

The singer/rapper/actor was promoting the new season of How to Make It in America, which starts this Sunday on HBO.

Right off the bat Conan wanted to know how Cudi got his hands on a pair of the Nike Mag sneakers when only 1500 of the Back To the Future themed kicks were made.

"EBay," Cudi said. "I didn't have an eBay account before then and I just made one up and jumped on as soon as I heard. Technically I got five pair because I got my girlfriend a pair. I didn't want her made at me, so I got four for myself and one for her."

Cudi gives Conan a leather jacket he designed with Surface to Air, and also talked the weird incident at an L.A. concert when a male fan jumped onstage and kissed him in the mouth.

After months of hard training that culminated in a win over Victor Ortiz two weeks ago, Floyd Mayweather Jr. is taking some time off to enjoy the fruits of his labor and keep an eye on his whips.

Money May tweeted a pic of himself (above) babysitting his fleet on luxury cars earlier this week.

"Last night I was bored so I decided BabySit the whips. #MoneyTeam," he wrote twitter.

The champ has also been going in on Ortiz and his promoter Oscar De La Hoya via twitter. Clowning them both by sending out real pics of them looking way less than masculine.

Check out some of the hilarious tweets and pics below.

Video After The Jump

When Styles P decided to name his new album Master of Ceremonies, he didn't realize the title might confuse some fans.

"It's funny because I said I was the master of ceremonies, and I got a tweet 'damn Styles you down with the illuminati now?' And I laughed but I was sad at the same time because to them a master of ceremony sounded like some kind of illuminati term. I'm an MC, do your homework, this is where we come from," Styles told MTV's Sway.

Peniro went on to break down what it means to be an MC.

"That means I'm the MC for the night," Styles said. "When I speak I'm controlling the room. I'm the mic controller, I'm here to move the crowd. I'm here to talk for you to hear clearly what I'm saying. In hip-hop I think a lot of us have forgotten about MCing. Originally in hip-hop the DJ was the big thing. And as an MC you were kind of holding it down for the DJ and what he was doing. As time passed the MC became more popular," SP explained. "It's your job to talk to the crowd. And for me to give you something you can listen to, take home, or hear. At the end of the day I have to be saying something slick, or knowledgeable, or even hard, but I want you to go home and be like 'wow!'"

Showtime has announced planes to produce a documentary based on the life of Suge Knight.

The film “will delve deep into the life and storied exploits of the Death Row Records co-founder as well as the volatile and highly influential era in music that he presided over."

Showtime promises Knight will “personally reveal exactly how it all happened, why it all fell apart, and what the next chapter holds for one of America’s most iconic and mythologized figures.”

"Suge Knight’s reputation and rise to power in the music business has become the stuff of legend,” said producer Bradley J. Fischer told CNN. “Antoine Fuqua and I are thrilled to be partnering with Showtime to tell this remarkable story and take audiences behind a curtain that most have been terrified to even approach.”

Knight will also be producing the soundtrack through his new company, Black Kapital.

No release date information is available yet.

Video After The Jump

Machine Gun Kelly may be a relative newcomer to the hip-hop community, but the Cleveland rapper does not lack in the confidence department.

With his Lace Up movement spreading across the country and a new contract from Bad Boy Records in his back pocket, MGK is making moves.

He already has an artist in mind if he were to ever drop a collaborative album.

"DMX... because he and I are the same when it comes to passion," Kelly says. "I think me and him, our stage presence is crazy--our enegy is crazy. We both have different voices than everybody else. We both have that 'f*ck you' mentality, but's all positive though."

Would you like to hear a DMX and MGK collaboration?
