Bill Cosby is at the center of a scandal in which he's accused of drugging, then raping numerous women over the last several decades.
His attorney, Monique Pressley, appeared on CNN's New Day to defend her client and assert that Cosby's actions were not criminal.
"It's not really a revelation that Quaaludes were used in the 70's. They were commonly used as a party drug, and were also know to increase sexual arousal and Mr. Cosby admitted in his deposition to offering one person, who he was in a relationship with Quaaludes during that time period and that person accepted it," Pressley said. "For a person to offer in a consensual relationship to a person with knowledge, and for them to choose to accept it is not criminal."

When Meek Mill went off on Drake this week it put his girlfriend, Nicki Minaj, in a very awkward position, given the fact she and Drizzy are on the same label.
On Wednesday night during a tour stop in Virginia, Meek publicly apologized to Nicki, although he didn't back off of his assertion that Drake doesn't write his own rhymes.
"I wanna give out a special apology. Shout out to Nicki Minaj for my crazy ass going crazy on Twitter," Meek said, while playing with Nicki's hair. "I was just upset as a fan that he gave me a verse he didn't write. Shout out to Drake for breaking all the lanes he's breaking."
Meek had previously been upset when he found out that Drake allegedly didn't write his own verse on the song "R.I.C.O."

Toronto city councillor Norm Kelly didn't take kindly to Drake being attacked by Meek Mill. After hearing about the beef he fired off a tweet letting Meek know he's "no longer welcome in Toronto."
It didn't take long for the MMG rapper to fire back, questioning how Kelly could ban him from Drizzy's hometown.
Kelly later softened his stance.
Meek will be performing in Toronto on July 28, as part of Nicki Minaj's The Pinkprint tour. It will be interesting to see how fans will respond.

Joe has since apologized, so everything is cool now, but that didn't stop Jack Thriller and Urban Daily's #NoFilter crew from giving their opinion.

During Meek Mill's Twitter outburst where he accuses Drake of using ghostwriters, he dropped the name Quentin Miller. Everyone has since been scrambling to find out more information on who QM is.
What's known is that he's received writing credits for five songs on Drizzy's If You're Reading This It's Too Late. The tracks include "10 Bands," "6 Man," "Used To," "Know Yourself," "No Tellin" and "Know Yourself."
Miller is also credited on Drake's collaboration with Meek Mill titled "R.I.C.O.," off of Dreams Worth More Than Money. A song Meek claims Drake wrote none of.
According to Complex, Miller is an artist from Atlanta and a member of the group WDNG Crshrs. Other reports estimate that he's been a part of the OVO camp for about a year.
In December 2014, Miller released a mixtape titled Hey, Thanks a Lot 2. On one song in particular, "Cinematic," he uses a flow that sounds similar to Drake's. It was produced by one of Drizzy's go-to beat makers, Boi-1da.

Hip Hop legends Ice Cube and Dr. Dre have come a long way since the days of N.W.A., but they're reliving it vicariously through the upcoming biopic, Straight Outta Compton.
There's such a big buzz surrounding the film that there's even talk of a European reunion tour, which would also include Eminem, if everyone's schedules permit.
The two sat down with Tatiana Sigel of The Hollywood Reporter to chop it up about just about everything.
On Suge Knight coming to the set of Straight Outta Compton and subsequently running over and killing Terry Carter and injuring Cle "Bone" Sloan.
Dr. Dre: I was there. But I was just leaving, so I didn't know what happened until I was halfway home. I heard about it over the phone. Everybody was supportive everywhere we went, and we didn't have one issue throughout the entire filming of the movie. It's crazy that this happened during the fucking filming of the commercial. It's just a really unfortunate incident. Maybe [Knight] was looking for trouble. I don't know.
Ice Cube: It's the dangerous part of living in South Central. Some people don't care if you're making a movie or not. It's unfortunate because the movie is so good, so creative, so many talented people involved.

My father would call me before each scene to let me know what he was thinking. A lot of it was getting me to not act. I have so much of his mannerisms and things already in me that I wouldn't want to be onscreen doing an impersonation. You can do an impersonation or you could become the character. I really was trying to break down those acting walls and just let everything flow.

HEMPSTEAD, Texas (AP) — Police dashcam video shows a Texas state trooper trying to drag a black motorist from her car after a minor traffic infraction, then drawing his stun gun and threatening her for refusing to follow his orders.
The video shows the roadside encounter swiftly escalating into a shouting confrontation, with the officer holding a stun gun and warning 28-year-old Sandra Bland, "I will light you up," for refusing to get out of her vehicle.
Three days later, Bland was found dead in her jail cell. Authorities say she hanged herself with a black plastic garbage bag — a contention her family and supporters dispute.
The video posted online Tuesday by the Texas Department of Public Safety shows the trooper, who is white, stopping Bland for failing to signal a lane change. After he hands her a written warning, the trooper remarks that Bland seems irritated. The Illinois woman replies that she is irritated because she had changed lanes to make way for the trooper's car.
The conversation quickly turns hostile when the officer asks Bland to put out her cigarette and she asks why she can't smoke in her own car. The trooper then orders Bland to get out of the vehicle. She refuses, and he tells her she is under arrest.
Further refusals to get out bring a threat from the trooper to drag her out. He then pulls out a stun gun and makes the threat about lighting Bland up.
When she finally steps out of the vehicle, the trooper orders her to the side of the road. There, the confrontation continues off-camera, but it is still audible. The two keep yelling at each other as the officer tries to put Bland in handcuffs and waits for other troopers to arrive.
Still off camera, Bland can be heard protesting her arrest, repeatedly using expletives and calling the officer a "pussy." She screams that he's about to break her wrists and complains that he knocked her head into the ground.
Her death comes after nearly a year of heightened national scrutiny of police and their dealings with black suspects, especially those who have been killed by officers or die in police custody.
The case has resonated on social media, with posts questioning the official account and featuring the hashtags #JusticeForSandy and #WhatHappenedToSandyBland. Others referred to #SandySpeaks, the hashtag Bland used in monologues she posted on Facebook in which she talked about police brutality and said she had a calling from God to speak out against racism and injustice.
In an affidavit released Tuesday, the trooper said that after handcuffing her for becoming combative, she swung her elbows at him and kicked him in his right shin.
Trooper Brian Encinia said he then used force "to subdue Bland to the ground," and she continued to fight back. He arrested her for assault on a public servant.
The trooper, who has been on the force for just over a year, has been placed on administrative leave for violating unspecified police procedures and the Department of Public Safety's courtesy policy. The agency would not address questions about whether the trooper acted appropriately by drawing his stun gun or pulling her out of the vehicle.
"Regardless of the situation — it doesn't matter where it happens — a DPS state trooper has got an obligation to exhibit professionalism and be courteous ... and that wasn't the case in this situation," said Steven McCraw, the department director.
A law enforcement expert from Maryland said he was troubled by the video "from start to finish."
Vernon Herron, a senior policy analyst with the University of Maryland Center for Health and Homeland Security, said if the trooper intended to give her a warning, that's what he should have done, no matter what the woman said to him.
"A person's attitude or their demeanor is not probable cause to make an arrest," said Herron, who has more than 35 years of experience in public safety and law enforcement.
Court records show Bland had several encounters with police in Illinois and Texas over the past decade, including repeated traffic stops and two arrests for drunk driving, one of which was dismissed.
Bland was taken to the Waller County Jail about 60 miles northwest of Houston on July 10 and found dead July 13. A Texas Rangers investigation into her death is being supervised by the FBI.
Although a medical examiner has ruled Bland's death a suicide, supporters insist she was upbeat and looking forward to a new job at Prairie View A&M University, where she graduated in 2009. Bland's family and clergy members have called for a Justice Department probe, and an independent autopsy has been ordered.
At a memorial service Tuesday night at Bland's alma mater, her mother, Geneva Reed-Veal, reiterated that she doesn't believe Bland took her own life. She also spoke of her grief, saying, "I have a baby to put in the ground."
