DRUPY FLI MUSIK RELEASES NEW SINGLE AND VIDEO OF “SOULMATE” ON VEVO, VIMEO AND MTV
Nashville, Tennessee — June 23, 2014 — Drupy Fli Musik (DFM) launches his new single and video of “SoulMate” on his VEVO (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fzhsj8XF4AU), Vimeo (http://vimeo.com/96153487), and MTV (http://www.mtv.com/artists/drupy-fli-musik/) accounts.
“SoulMate” is produced by RePlay Beats for the Fli Musik Group. The song, strung on a catchy beat with instrumentals in the background, describes the connection between a man, and his life’s soul mate, his lady. This single is the first piece scheduled to launch from DFM’s upcoming project, TIME, which is in collaboration with Beau Burgess, creative director of Burgess Creative.
DFM, who’s previously headlined popular Nashville events, such as Y2K, and is a nominee of two Nashville Independent Music Award for Best Rap/Hip-hop performer and Hip-hop/Rap Artist of the Year (alongside Chancellor Warhol, Starlito and Fluid Outrage), is expanding his brand’s reach as an independent artist, through his work with Burgess.
In a move to strengthen the artist’s image, Burgess Creative is conceptualizing the design, layout and marketing roll out of his new initiative and website branding realignment. Burgess also connected DFM with a sponsorship from AxVaporizers, one of his company’s business associates, as part of his plans to cross-promote the artist’s work with corporate products and entities.
The new website launched on June 23, 2014, featuring the new single for streaming, and a promo trailer providing a sneak peak at the music video. The full video version, totaling four minutes and 18 seconds, and mainly shot in an urban setting, was created by TRVLR for Burgess Creative. In time for the release of his new work, Drupy Fli Musik signed a deal with one of CMOA’s creators, and public relations representative to a slew of Hip-hop A-listers, the Tara Thomas Agency.
With all of these accomplishments and goals set for the present and the near future, DFM is definitely on the rise to stardom.

19-year old Elyjah Marrow has been arrested and charged with involuntary manslaughter after killing his roommate, Daryus Johnson, also 19, at their Marietta, Georgia apartment on Tuesday, June 24.
“Marrow was not using proper firearms safety when handling the gun,” Officer David Baldwin told the Marietta Daily Journal. “That reckless handling of the firearm is what led to Johnson being accidentally shot and eventually killed.”
Marrow, the grandson of rapper/actor Ice-T, was also charged with reckless conduct, possession of a stolen firearm, intent to distribute marijuana and possession of a firearm while committing a felony
He is currently being held without bond at the Cobb County jail.
Marrow's father has been expressing his grief via his Twitter page.

Lil Boosie is looking to collaborate with 2 big artists in the near future. The Louisiana rapper told Rap-Up that he's already written a song for himself and Justin Bieber entitled "Stalking You."
“We’re looking at these bad girls, but it’s stalking you in a good way,” Boosie said of the record. “Like if you were mine, we’d be straight. That’s the record I got for him.”
Boosie is also looking to lock down studio time with Drake.
“I like Drake music. He got different music and even though it’s not the music I was raised on, I can listen to it and be like, ‘Yeah.’ I’d rather listen to Drake than a dude who talkin’ about the streets and he’s lying."
A movie entitled Boosie will be dropping soon as well. The Louisiana rapper says it will tell his life story.
“Even if you never listened to my music, just go check the movie out. Then you can see what I’ve been through and see this not no cakewalk.”

We're sorry to report that Bobby Womack has died at the age of 70. The legendary soul singer's sister told TMZ that he passed away in his sleep Friday, June 27.
An official cause of his death has not been released, but Womack has battled health problems for a number of years including colon cancer, diabetes, pneumonia and the beginning stages of Alzeimers.
Womack's career began in 1952. He remained active by continuing to tour and record new music. His latest album entitled The Best Is Yet to Come is set to be released later this year via XL Recordings.
In 2009 he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The singer's catalog is filled with classic songs including "Across 110th Street" and "If You Think You're Lonely Now."
