WBC Suspends and Demands a public apology from @AdrienBroner #WBC #Boxing #Greenbelt http://t.co/z8LI6FaBIj
— World Boxing Council (@WBCBoxing) May 7, 2014
Immediately following his win over Carlos Molina at the MGM Grand on Saturday, May 3, Adrien Broner made racist remarks that now have him in hot water.
"I've beaten Africans and I just beat the f*ck out of a Mexican," Broner told Showtime's Jim Gray during his post-fight interview.
Molina is an American-born fighter who is of both Argentinian and Mexican descent
The World Boxing Council has suspended Broner and is demanding an apology from "The Problem." Read their statement below.
Adrien Broner , former WBC lightweight champion has offended many persons of the world with his words during the interview after the fight vs Molina .
The World Boxing Council holds human equality as its banner and will not accept a former WBC champion to make racially offensive statements.Since words have different meanings and can be interpreted in different ways , the WBC is issuing this open letter to Adrien Broner to either clarify what he meant with his words or to issue a public apology if those words were intended to be despective and offensive .
Adrien Broner is hereby suspended from participating in any WBC sanctioned Championship and will be excluded from the WBC Ratings until the time he makes a public apology satisfactorily to the public of the world .
Boxing is a great sport , it is a world sport and boxers are honorable and exemplary members of the community . FairPlay and human equality must always be upheld.
Broner should apologize because it's the right thing to do. But unless the remaining sanctioning bodies which include the World Boxing Aassociation, International Boxing Federation and the World Boxing Organization, also suspend Broner he really doesn't have a lot of pressure to do anything.
He can still be sanctioned to fight by any of the remaining organizations. The 24-year old Cincinnati fighter is currently the WBA International Super Lightweight Champion.

Suge Knight has had issues with Rick Ross dating back to the 2011 release of Meek Mill's song "Tupac's Back."
The former Death Row Records CEO hasn't forgotten. He posted up outside of 1 Oak in West Hollywood recently and went in on Rozay.
"I got a show called It Ain't Smart Being Stupid. I'ma invite motherfuckin Rick Ross on there. That ain't his real name, whatever," Suge said. "If he can get me I'ma shave my motherfucking beard. But when I beat his motherfucking ass, kick him square in his motherfucking ass and play with his titties. He need to shave his beard and go back to the police he is. I think 50 Cent is more aggressive than that motherfucking bitch ass motherfucker."
Suge wasn't done there. He also spoke on Oprah Winfrey, Eazy E, 2Pac, Kendrick Lamar's bad record deal and disses Russell Simmons, Puff Daddy and says Jimmy Iovine sent him to prison.

L.E.P. isn't having it and one of their members, G Count, has released a reply going at Game for using the group's name in the song and for jumping into Durk and Tyga's diss in the first place.
“You don’t know shit about Chiraq/Dickriding me to get a pass, you don’t know the G-Count like that/As far as Chicago riding with you, point ‘em out, them who?/Show me exactly who you talking about, I’ll green light it on them too," Count raps.

Steve Francis was once one of the premier point guards in the NBA. Since his playing days ended "Stevie Franchise" is often spotted out enjoying life. Recently, while at a club in Miami the former All-Star appeared to be enjoying himself a little too much.
Cameras caught Steve pouring a bottle of liquor all over himself while singing Beyonce's "Drunk in Love." He's late seen pouring water all over himself in what looks like an attempt to cool himself down before he passes out.
Is Steve rolling off that Molly?
We're not sure what's up. It's just a shame to see Steve like this.

Monica Lewinsky is ready to move on with her life. Saying "it's time to burn the beret and bury the blue dress. Her 1995-97 affair with then-president Bill Clinton made her a tabloid favorite and earned her the scorn of a nation.
"I, myself, deeply regret what happened between me and President Clinton. Let me say it again: I. Myself. Deeply. Regret. What. Happened," says the now 40-year-old Lewinsky in the upcoming issue of Vanity Fair. "Sure, my boss took advantage of me, but I will always remain firm on this point: it was a consensual relationship. Any 'abuse' came in the aftermath, when I was made a scapegoat in order to protect his powerful position,"
Charlamagne Tha God believes Monica should have just left it alone and not try to step back into the limelight. For that reason, he's given her the "Donkey of the Day."

The Wu Tang Clan are planning on selling just once copy of The Wu – Once Upon A Time In Shaolin, an album they recorded in secret.
Forbes flew to Moracco to film "Wu-Tang Clan's Secret Album Unveiled: Once Upon A Time In Marrakech," where they got the chance to hear a snippet of an unnamed song featuring Ghostface Killah and Cher.
"Flying more than 3,500 miles from New York to Casablanca for less than a minute of music may seem a bit extravagant. Renting a car and braving Moroccan traffic for 150 additional miles (with a malfunctioning GPS unit, no less) may have been unwise. But there’s more to it than just the audio: the Wu-Tang story has become one of the biggest of the year in the entertainment business," wrote Zach O'Malley Greenburg of Forbes.

LAGOS, Nigeria (Associated Press) — Islamic militants killed hundreds of people in an attack on a border town in Nigeria's remote northeast, escalating the country's violent insurrection in which more than 270 schoolgirls have been kidnapped.
As many as 300 people were killed when a band of extremists attacked the town of Gamboru Ngala, on Nigeria's border with Cameroon, according to local press reports. The attack and hundreds of casualties were confirmed Wednesday by Borno state information commissioner Mohammed Bulama who spoke to The Associated Press by telephone Wednesday. Shops and homes were set ablaze and razed in the attack, he said.
The news of the attack adds to Nigeria's growing crisis from the Islamic extremists' violent campaign of bombings, attacks and abductions. The militant Boko Haram rebels are holding captive 276 teenage students, after abducting them from their boarding school in Chibok, also in northeastern Borno state.
In the attack on Gamboru Ngala the militants sprayed gunfire into the crowds of people at a busy market that was open Monday night when temperatures cool in the semi-desert region, reported ThisDay newspaper.
Nigerian federal Senator Ahmed Zannah said the attack lasted about 12 hours, according to the newspaper. The insurgents set homes on fire and gunned down residents who tried to escape from the flames, reported the paper.
Zannah blamed fighters of Nigeria's homegrown Boko Haram terrorist network that has claimed responsibility for the kidnapping of 276 teenage girls and is threatening to sell them into slavery.
Boko Haram's five-year-old Islamic uprising has claimed the lives of thousands of Muslims and Christians. More than 1,500 people have died in their attacks so far this year. The insurgents say Western influences are corrupting and they want to impose an Islamic state in Nigeria, a country of 170 million of whom half are Christian.

Two photos of 13-year old Willow Smith in bed with 20-year old former Hannah Montana actor Moises Arias has a lot of people wondering what's going on.
In the photos Moises is shirtless. Both he and Willow, the daughter of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith look quite comfortable.
Moises posted the photos on his Instagram account, but later deleted them after getting lots of negative feedback. He's reportedly friends with Willow's 15-year old brother Jaden
There's been no public statement from Moises or Willow on the pics.
**UPDATE** May 8
Jada Pinkett Smith has responded to the controversial photo of her daughter Willow in bed with Moises Arias. In Jada's opinion we're all projecting our own dirty thoughts into an innocent situation.
"Here's the deal," she said via TMZ on Wednesday at LAX Airport. "There was nothing sexual about that picture or that situation. You guys are projecting your trash onto it. You're acting like covert pedophiles and that's not cool."

WASHINGTON (Associated Press) — President Barack Obama said Tuesday that the U.S. will do everything it can to help Nigeria find nearly 300 teenage girls missing since they were kidnapped from school three weeks ago by an Islamist extremist group that has threatened to sell them.
Obama said the immediate priority is finding the girls, but that the Boko Haram group must also be dealt with.
"In the short term our goal is obviously is to help the international community, and the Nigerian government, as a team to do everything we can to recover these young ladies," Obama said in an interview with NBC's "Today," in some of his first public comments on what he said was a "terrible situation" in the West African nation.
"But we're also going to have to deal with the broader problem of organizations like this that ... can cause such havoc in people's day-to-day lives," Obama said of Boko Haram.
The brazen April 15 abduction has sparked international outrage and mounting demands, including by some in Washington, for Nigeria to spare no effort to find and free the girls before they can be sold into slavery or otherwise harmed.
Nigeria's police have said more than 300 girls were abducted from their secondary school in the country's remote northeast. Of that number, 276 remain in captivity and 53 managed to escape.
Obama said he was glad the Nigerian government was accepting help from U.S. military and law enforcement advisers.
"Obviously, what's happening is awful, and, as a father of two girls, I can't imagine what their parents are going through," he told CBS News in an interview. Obama said the U.S. has long sought to work with Nigeria to contain Boko Haram.
"You've got one of the worst regional or local terrorist organizations in Boko Haram in Nigeria. They've been killing people ruthlessly for many years now and we've already been seeking greater cooperation with the Nigerians," Obama said in an interview with ABC News.
He said the kidnapping and subsequent outrage over Nigeria's inability to rescue the girls "may be the event that helps to mobilize the entire international community to finally do something against this horrendous organization that's perpetrated such a terrible crime."
The technical experts heading to Nigeria will include U.S. military and law enforcement personnel skilled in intelligence, investigations, hostage negotiating, information sharing and victim assistance, as well as officials with expertise in other areas, White House spokesman Jay Carney said.
U.S. armed forces were not being sent, Carney noted.
Obama commented during a series of previously arranged television interviews conducted in the White House Rose Garden, shortly after the Senate passed a bipartisan resolution urging the girls' safe and immediate return. Some lawmakers also observed a moment of silence on the Capitol steps calling for their release, and dozens of people also protested outside the Nigerian Embassy in Washington.
All 20 female senators urged Obama in a letter to pursue severe international sanctions on Boko Haram. A smaller group of mostly male senators urged Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan to address the root causes of unrest in his country.
Secretary of State John Kerry said the U.S. had been in touch with Nigeria "from day one" of the crisis. But repeated offers of U.S. assistance were ignored until Kerry got on the phone Tuesday with Jonathan amid growing international concern and outrage over the fate of the girls in the weeks since their abduction.
John Kerry and Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan
Kerry said Nigeria apparently wanted to pursue its own strategy, but now realizes more needs to be done.
"I think now the complications that have arisen have convinced everybody that there needs to be a greater effort," Kerry said at a State Department news conference. "And it will begin immediately. I mean, literally, immediately."
A statement from Jonathan's office said the U.S. offer "includes the deployment of U.S. security personnel and assets to work with their Nigerian counterparts in the search and rescue operation." The statement added that Nigeria's security agencies are working at "full capacity" to find the girls and welcomes the addition of American "counter-insurgency know-how and expertise."
Nigeria's Islamic extremist leader, Abubakar Shekau, has claimed responsibility for the abduction and has threatened to sell the girls. Shekau also warned that Boko Haram will attack more schools and abduct more girls. Boko Haram means "Western education is sinful."
