We haven't heard much from D12 since Shady Records dropped Shady XV last year, but fear not - the Devil's Night mixtape is out now. In our latest interview, Bizarre, Swifty McVay and Kuniva assure us and their fans their latest project "is just a reintroduction of what's to come."
McVay calls Devil's Night "a homage mixtape," as it is for the fans who've supported them since they dropped their debut album by the same name in 2001. Though many are anxious to hear the guys together again, Kuniva made it clear that "Em[inem] didn't make this project at all." "We could've waited for him to go ahead and do it, but we wanted to really just let people know that we are also emcees too and we can handle ourselves," he explained. "We know how to do this sh!t and we need to reinvent ourselves - everybody knows who Em is..."

CAIRO (AP) — A Russian aircraft carrying more than 220 people crashed Saturday in a remote mountainous region in the Sinai Peninsula more than 20 minutes after takeoff from a Red Sea resort popular with Russian tourists, Egypt's Ministry of Civil Aviation said.
It is not immediately known whether there are any survivors among the 217 passengers and seven crew members but an Egyptian government spokesman said 50 ambulances were headed to the crash site to offer medical care if needed.
Adel Mahgoub, chairman of the state company that runs Egypt's civilian airports, said all passengers and crew were Russian citizens.
A ministry statement said Egyptian military search and rescue teams found the wreckage of the passenger jet in the Hassana area south of the city of el-Arish, an area in northern Sinai where Egyptian security forces are fighting a burgeoning Islamic militant insurgency led by a local affiliate of the extremist Islamic State group.
It said the plane, believed to be an Airbus model, took off from Sharm el-Sheikh shortly before 6 a.m. for St. Petersburg in Russia and disappeared from radar screens 23 minutes after takeoff. The reported time lapse between takeoff and loss of contact with the aircraft means that the plane was possibly flying at a cruising altitude of some 30,000 feet when it crashed.
Militants in northern Sinai have not to date shot down commercial airliners or fighter-jets. There have been persistent media reports that they have acquired Russian shoulder-fired, anti-aircraft missiles. But these types of missiles can only be effective against low-flying aircraft or helicopters. In January 2014, Sinai-based militants claimed to have shot down a military helicopter; Egyptian officials at the time acknowledged the helicopter had crashed, but gave no reason.
Civil Aviation Minister Hossam Kamal said an investigative team has arrived at the crash site to examine the debris and locate the flight's recorders, or the "black box."
Separately, Russia's Investigative Committee, the country's top investigative body, has opened an investigation into the crash, according to a statement issued Saturday by committee spokesman Sergei Markin.
Earlier in the day, an Egyptian official with the government's Aviation Incidents Committee told local media that the plane had briefly lost contact but was now safely in Turkish airspace.
Later, the same official, Ayman al-Muqadem, said the plane has crashed and that the pilot, before losing contact, had radioed that the aircraft was experiencing technical problems and that he intended to try and land at the nearest airport. The aircraft crashed at a site near the el-Arish airport, he said.
It was not immediately possible to independently confirm that technical problems caused the plane to crash.
Mahgoub said the aircraft had successfully undergone technical checks while at Sharm el-Sheikh's airport. A technical committee from the company was headed to Sharm el-Sheikh to collect security camera footage of the plane while it sat at the airport, including operations to supply it with fuel and passenger meals as well security checks, he said.
Roughly three million Russian tourists, or nearly a third of all visitors in 2014, come to Egypt every year, mostly to Red Sea resorts in Sinai or in mainland Egypt.
"It is too premature to detect the impact this will have on tourism. We need to know what happened first," Tourism Ministry spokeswoman Rasha Azazi told The Associated Press.

Former Ruthless Records co-founder, Jerry Heller, doesn't like the way he was depicted in the N.W.A. biopic, Straight Outta Compton.
He's brought out the legal guns and is suing just about everyone associated with the film, including NBC Universal, Ice Cube, the estate of Eazy E, Dr. Dre and others to the tune of $110 million for defamation, according to TMZ.

Heller says he never gave permission for his likeness to be used in the film. He also claims the scene in the movie where Suge Knight strong arms Eazy E into signing over Dr. Dre's contract to Death Row Records was stolen from his book.
He further alleges that his portrayal in the movie as the "bad guy" and "a sleazy manager who took advantage of Eazy-E, Dr. Dre and Ice Cube" was damaging and false.
Other lies in the movie according to Heller were:
-- He withheld a $75k check from Ice Cube
-- He fraudulently induced Dre and Cube to sign unfavorable contracts
-- He enjoyed lobster brunches while the contracts were being signed
-- He was fired by Eazy-E
In addition to the $110 million, Heller, is asking for a percentage of the movie's profits

Last week Khloe Kardashian called off her divorce to Lamar Odom and put her relationship with Houston Rockets basketball player James Harden on "hold."
The assumption at the time was that she had decided to try to work things out with her estranged husband, whose hospital bedside she had been at during his health crisis.
That "hold" on Khloe's relationship with Harden didn't last long. It's being widely reported that the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star flew from L.A. to Houston watch him play on Wednesday, October 28th, from a suite at the Toyota Center.
Where that leaves Odom is anybody's guess at this point. The good news for the former NBA player is that his health is rapidly improving and he will not need a kidney transplant, although he still faces months of physical rehabilitation.

(Des Moines Register) A Johnston school bus driver has been arrested on charges of assaulting a special needs student on his bus Thursday afternoon in front of other children, who posted video of the incident on social media.
Robert Alan Scarbrough, 61, of West Des Moines stopped the bus after a 15-year-old special needs student failed to follow instructions about assigned seats, according to an investigation by Johnston Police.
When the student uttered an inflammatory comment at Scarbrough, the bus driver pulled the student out of his seat. A brief struggle ensued, and the bus driver hit the student in the head and pushed him down onto the floor of the bus, police said in a statement.
A video of the incident posted on social media shows several children screaming at the bus driver, who yells profanity.
After pushing down the student, Scarbrough returned to the driver's seat and drove to the next stop, where several students ran off of the bus at about 12:15 p.m. in the 3600 block of Southeast Glenstone Drive in Grimes. They told a Polk County Sheriff's deputy that their bus driver had assaulted the student.
Johnston Police were then called to the scene.
Scarbrough is being held at Polk County Jail on charges of assault causing injury and child endangerment, with a $1,000 bond for each charge.
Fourteen-year-old student Elvedina Velagic, who said she was on the bus during the incident, said Scarbrough has yelled at students on the bus before, though she does not know any students who have reported it.
"He yells at us all the time. ... We were kind of used to the yelling," Velagic said.
Johnston Police Lt. Lynn Aswegan said he was not aware of any criminal reports related to Scarbrough's behavior on the school bus before Thursday. A school district spokesperson could not be reached Thursday evening to confirm whether prior complaints had been made to the school.
A search of online Iowa court records revealed no criminal history for Scarbrough.
Velagic said Scarbrough's actions Thursday happened after the special needs student almost missed the bus, then didn't follow Scarbrough's directions on where to sit and told the bus driver to "shut up."
Many students were scared when Scarbrough stopped the bus and began yelling at the special needs student, who Velagic described as "someone who is always very nice to everyone."
Several students yelled at Scarbrough to stop as he pushed the special needs student, Velagic said.
"He started yelling profanities at us," she said.
Almost every student exited the bus at the Grimes stop, where they found the sheriff's deputy, "because we were afraid of being on the bus with (Scarbrough)," Velagic said.
School district spokeswoman Laura Sprague confirmed that Scarbrough was put on administrative leave as the school district works with police to review the incident.
The school district later released a statement calling Scarbrough's actions "a series of poor choices regarding how to handle the student’s behavior."
Sprague said the school district is grateful the student was not seriously injured. District officials are offering counseling to students on the bus at Johnston Middle School starting Friday, and officials will take parents' questions at the district office, Sprague said.
School board members either could not be reached for comment or declined to comment on Scarbrough's actions Thursday.
Before the incident Thursday, the Johnston school district had already been considering privatizing its school bus service through a third-party contractor.
Johnston spent approximately $3.1 million transporting students during the 2015 fiscal year, an increase of about $600,000 from four years earlier.
The school district operates a fleet of 75 buses and employs about 60 drivers.
The district will request proposals from private busing companies to see how much money it could save before making a decision.
The student received medical attention in an ambulance on scene but did not need to be transported to a hospital for medical attention, according to a Johnston Community School District statement. The student was with his parents when he left the scene, police said.

Adele's third studio album titled 25 won't arrive until November 20th, but industry prognosticators are projecting that it will do huge numbers.
The music video for the project's first single, "Hello," has been viewed over 147 million times since it's October 22nd release. The song will take over the No. 1 spot on the November 14th Billboard Hot 100.
The single is expected to hit the 1 million mark in sales it's first week.
Pre-orders for 25 have topped 250,000 since Friday, October 23rd.
Billboard projects the album to sell between 1.3 and 1.8 million in it's first week. That would make it the biggest debut week for a female in the Nielsen era (1991 to the present).
Will Adele top 2 million? It's certainly not out of the question.
