Australian rapper goes HAM over the iconic Bad Boy For Life beat spitting bars of inspiration and success about making it from nothing independently and "appreciating it all because i built it brick for brick" This freestyle is the first piece of work since rebranding from Senior. to his full name and it is safe to say Senior is comfortable just being himself.
(AP) — An ex Texas cop was convicted of manslaughter Thursday for fatally shooting a Black woman through a rear window of her home.
Jurors also considered a murder charge against Aaron Dean but instead convicted him of manslaughter in the 2019 death of Atatiana Jefferson, 28.
Dean, 38, faces up to 20 years in prison on the manslaughter conviction. He had faced up to life in prison if convicted of murder.
Dean shot Jefferson on Oct. 12, 2019, after a neighbor called a nonemergency police line to report that the front door to Jefferson’s home was open. She had been playing video games that night with her nephew & left the doors open to vent smoke from hamburgers the boy burned.
Police body camera footage showed that Dean & a 2nd officer who responded to the call didn’t identify themselves as cops at the house. Dean & Officer Carol Darch testified that they thought the house might have been burglarized & quietly moved into the fenced-off backyard looking for signs of forced entry.
Dean fired a single shot through the window a split-second after shouting at Jefferson, who was inside, to show her hands.
Dean testified that he had no choice but to shoot when he saw Jefferson pointing the barrel of a gun directly at him. But under questioning from prosecutors he acknowledged numerous errors, repeatedly conceding that actions he took before & after the shooting were “more bad police work.”
Darch testified that he never mentioned seeing a gun before he pulled the trigger & didn’t say anything about the weapon as they rushed in to search the house.
Dean acknowledged on the witness stand that he only said something about the gun after seeing it on the floor inside the house & that he never gave Jefferson first aid.

ATLANTA (AP) — Rapper Gunna, who was arrested earlier this year along with fellow rapper Young Thug & more than 2 dozen other people, on Wednesday pleaded guilty in Atlanta to a racketeering conspiracy charge.
In May obtained an indictment that said members of the Young Slime Life criminal street gang committed violent crimes to collect money for the gang, promote its reputation & grow its power & territory.
Gunna, whose given name is Sergio Kitchens, entered an Alford plea, which allows a person to maintain his innocence while acknowledging that it is in his best interest to plead guilty.
“While I have agreed to always be truthful, I want to make it perfectly clear that I have NOT made any statements, have NOT been interviewed, have NOT cooperated, have NOT agreed to testify or be a witness for or against any party in the case & have absolutely NO intention of being involved in the trial process in any way,” the rapper said in the statement.
Kitchens was sentenced to 5 years, with credit for time served & the balance suspended. He also must do 500 hours of community service, including 350 hours speaking “to young men & women about the hazards and immorality of gangs & gang violence & the decay that it causes in our communities,” He also isn’t allowed to have any guns or to have contact with others charged except through his attorneys or music label.
The trial for others charged in the indictment is set to begin next month.
Young Thug, whose given name is Jeffery Lamar Williams & 2 others founded Young Slime Life, a violent criminal street gang that’s commonly known as YSL & is affiliated with the national Bloods gang. He has pleaded not guilty.
Kitchens is signed to Williams’ Young Stoner Life record label.
