Power 105.1 radio personality Charlamagne Tha God chopped it up with Montreality recently about people comparing Kendrick Lamar to Tupac Shakur.
"No, they will never match up," CTG said. "We have to stop doing that to the new guys. We have to stop putting them on the same level as ghosts. And what I mean by ghosts is ... Guys like 2Pac, guys like The Notorious B.I.G, guys like Jay Z, Dr. Dre. Those are legendary figures who have already done it. You gotta think about all the different circumstances that surround somebody like Tupac Shakur. Tupac Shakur is a mythical figure. He's such a mythical figure that even in his death, people question if he's still alive."

Brooklyn, New York rapper and BSB Records recording artist, Young Lito, linked up with Mikey T the Movie Star and Report Card Radio to talk about 50 Cent.
He discussed what it meant to Troy Ave to have his favorite rapper co-sign him, the G-Unit Records boss being a legend, him keeping the same street mentality despite being rich and more.
"50 one hundred . 50 a real nigga," Lito said. "See 50 one one them niggas like ... you know he's a rich nigga, but you won't tell. That nigga cool. That nigga gon' mob with you in the spot, talk to you regular. He still got a street mentality and that's how you gotta be. A lotta niggas get that money and act funny. We done been in the club and I'll watch son. I'll watch 50 and he still be like, on point. 'Cause that's how we is. We watch how niggas moving. And I like that ... he official."
Lito went on to talk about 50's relationship with his boss, Troy Ave.
"That's Ave favorite rapper," Lito continued. "Before he met the nigga that's all Ave used to talk about. So, when he embraced us that shit was big. And I also looked at it like, I'm happy for my brother."

The wait is almost over.
Drake will release his highly anticipated fourth solo album titled "Views from the 6" on Friday, April 29, via OVO Sound/Young Money Entertainment/Republic Records. The Toronto rapper took to his Twitter account on Sunday to unveil it's cover.

Two of the hottest artists in hip hop at the moment have announced that they will be coming to a town near you this summer.
Drake has tapped Future as a special guest on his Summer Sixteen Tour in support of his forthcoming "Views from the 6" album. The 32-date trek kicks off in Austin on July 20. Additional stops include Toronto, Columbus, Philadelphia, Atlanta and Phoenix, before winding down in Vancouver on September 17th.
Fans in Chicago, Houston, New York City, Toronto and Los Angeles will be treated to multiple shows. Tickets go on sale Friday, May 6, via Ticketmaster.

Birdman stopped by New York City radio station Power 105.1 on Friday, April 22, for an interview with Angie Martinez about a wide range of topics.
The business mogul discussed his relationship with Lil Wayne, Drake's forthcoming "Views from the 6" album, his upcoming "Music Moguls" reality television show on BET, developing artists, the Cash Money Records biopic, signing with Universal for $30 million at age 18, reading the Bible for the first time when he went to jail and it changing his outlook on life, being mentored by Minister Louis Farrakhan, growing up without his mom and dad, living in Canada for a period a while, being homeless between the ages of 10 and16, his upbringing making his heart turn cold, supporting Mannie Fresh's idea to put out a new Hot Boys album with Wayne and Juvenile, the "Rich Gang 2" project, "Ms. Gladys" solo album, his dad being a pimp, his children, digging what Uncle Murda, Maino and Rihanna are doing musically, his love for 50 Cent's hit single "I'm the Man."

"Can I tell y'all my favorite song right now? 50 Cent's I'm the fucking Man," Birdman told Angie. "Y'all should be playing that all day, every day. That's my shit. I played that before I come here. I'ma play that when I leave here. I'ma play that on the plane. I'ma play that when I get home. And I'm late on that song 'cause Miami just started playing it. Damn, 50 spittin' on that bitch and the song tight. That's my favorite. Shout out to 50 Cent, keep doing your thing."
"Does he know that? Did you tell him?" Angie asks.
"Nah, I never told him," Baby replied.
Angie then quizzed the Cash Money Records co-owner about his relationship with 50 Cent.
"We cool ... we real cool," he said.

Everyone has a past and it’s often those with one's paved with hard times that make the best stories. Especially when those people pull themselves up and are able to breakaway from past mistakes and hardships, and more onward. Rushbilli is one of those people who have seen the worst of times, but isn’t about to let his stint in prison define him for the rest of his life. Instead, it’s pushing him towards his goals and getting him back into the rap game.Hailing from the same streets as Birdman, Rushbilli sees that as a sign that he can not only make it in hip hop - but go on to be a name that sits on the shelf alongside the likes of not only Birdman, but other men who have talent both in front and behind the mic. He’s not only an artist, he’s also got a business mindset that sets him apart from many of his peers; working on his music and his label as he starts to reinvest in his artistry.
It’s been awhile since he’s been at it, but before his stint in prison - he did his fair share of touring and went everywhere from Florida to California.
