If O.J. Simpson ever gets out of prison he won't be returning to his Florida crib.

USA Today is reporting that JPMorgan Chase filed for foreclosure on his four-bedroom, four-bath house located in Kendall.

The former NFL great bought the house for $575,000 in 2000. It's currently valued at $478,000.

The 64-year old Simpson, nicknamed "The Juice" was a household name for years as a star running back in college at USC before turning pro and playing eleven seasons for the Buffalo Bills and San Francisco 49ers. After his football career ended Simpson found success as an actor and commentator on Monday Night Football.

Simpson's fame turned into infamy in 1994 when he was arrested for the murders of his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ronald Goldman in Los Angeles. Although he was  acquitted of the murders a year later, things were never the same for him and he became one of the most hated men in America.

On September 13, 2007, Simpson and six other men forced their way into sports memorabilia collector Bruce Fromong's hotel room at Palace Station in Las Vegas and robbed him at gunpoint. Simpson claimed that Fromong had memorabilia that belonged to him, but a jury didn't see it that way.

On October 3, 2008, Simpson was was convicted of kidnapping, armed robbery and 10 other charges related to the case. He was sentenced to a maximum of 33 years with the possibility of parole after nine. He is currently being held at Lovelock Correctional Center in Nevada.

Videos After The Jump

(CNN) -- The nation paused Monday to remember the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr., the civil rights icon who would have turned 83 this year had a bullet not cut short his life.

President Barack Obama marked the holiday with a service project at the Browne Education Campus in Washington on Monday morning.

He told the group it was the third year that he, his wife Michelle and daughters Malia and Sasha have engaged in some sort of service on King's birthday. While Malia was present Monday, Sasha "couldn't make it today," the president said.

"We're going to be doing a whole bunch of stuff to make the (school) facilities even better than they already are," Obama said.

He said there is "no better way" to honor King's life than by doing something on behalf of others.

"There's nobody who can't serve, nobody who can't help somebody else," he said. "Whether you're 7, or 6, or whether you're 76, you can find the opportunity to make an enormous amount of difference in your community."

Later Monday, the first couple will attend the Let Freedom Ring Celebration at the Kennedy Center.

U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder is scheduled to speak at the King Day at the Dome rally in Columbia, South Carolina on Monday, according to organizers of the event. The event will "commemorate Dr. King's life, draw attention to economic and educational equalities in the state, and protest the Confederate battle flag flying in front of the (state capitol) building," organizers said.

A federal holiday to honor King, who was assassinated in April 1968, was first observed in 1986. In 1994, Congress also designated it a national day of service.

On Monday, a group including Washington Mayor Vincent Gray, civil rights activist Dick Gregory and the Rev. Al Sharpton placed a wreath at the memorial honoring King.

"We must be reminded as to why Dr. King has been the one to deserve such a monument and such a holiday," Sharpton said. "... What he did was hold a banner of freedom and equality that actually transformed this nation."

On Sunday, park rangers also placed wreaths at the memorial. Members of King's family stood beside the towering 30-foot statue of him as crowds sang "Happy Birthday" at a ceremony.

"We're celebrating the best of what we are, but also what we must become, knowing that we've not arrived there yet," Martin Luther King III said.

On the civil rights leader's birthday -- January 15, 1968 -- Martin Luther King Jr. was planning a "poor people's campaign" to bring together Americans from all walks of life to demand "decent jobs with decent pay," his son said.

"He did not live to see that come to fruition, and so, 44 years later, we're still challenging our nation, particularly in light of the fact that there's so much poverty rampant in this nation," Martin Luther King III said.

The Martin Luther King Jr. memorial in Washington opened to the public last year. Sunday's ceremony came several days after officials confirmed that a controversial quote on one side of the monument would be corrected.

The line currently reads: "I was a drum major for justice, peace and righteousness."

The quote, which holds a prominent place among more than a dozen King's most notable lines at the site, sparked controversy last summer when poet Maya Angelou said it made the civil rights leader appear arrogant.

King's original words, from a 1968 sermon at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta, were: "If you want to say that I was a drum major, say that I was a drum major for justice. Say that I was a drum major for peace. I was a drum major for righteousness. And all of the other shallow things will not matter."

Angelou said that leaving out the "if" changes the meaning.

Interior Secretary Ken Salazar has given the National Park Service 30 days to consult with the Martin Luther King Jr. National Memorial Project Foundation, members of the King family and others to decide on a more accurate version of the quote, an official at the Interior Department said last week.

King's son said Sunday that he supported the move, because future generations may not know the context of the quote.

"It could be confusing. For us today, no, but for generations yet unborn, they may not understand," he said.

Rome (CNN) -- The Italian captain of the cruise ship that ran aground -- killing three people and injuring 20 more -- was arrested late Saturday and is being investigated for abandoning ship and manslaughter, said a local prosecutor in Grosetto, Italy.

Abandoning ship is the more serious of the potential charges, authorities said.

The captain, Francesco Schettino, had been earlier interviewed by investigators in Porto Santo Stefano about what happened when the 4,200-passenger Costa Concordia struck rocks in shallow water off Italy's western coast, said officer Emilio Del Santo of the Coastal Authorities of Livorno.

Authorities were looking at why the ship didn't hail a mayday during the accident near the Italian island of Giglio on Friday night, officials said. The ship is owned by Genoa-based Costa Cruises.

"At the moment we can't exclude that the ship had some kind of technical problem, and for this reason moved towards the coast in order to save the passengers, the crew and the ship. But they didn't send a mayday. The ship got in contact with us once the evacuation procedures were already ongoing," Del Santo said prior to the announcement of the arrest.

Giuseppe Orsina, a spokesman with the local civil protection agency, said 43 to 51 people were missing, though authorities are reviewing passenger lists to confirm the exact figure.

"These people could be still on the island of Giglio, in private houses or in hospitals," Orsina said.

The coast guard said 50 to 70 people could be missing.

Authorities said earlier Saturday they believed everyone was accounted for, but that they did not have a definitive list of names.

"Fear and panic are comprehensible in a ship long over 300 meters with over 4,000 passengers," Del Santo said. "We can confirm that the ship has a breach on the hull of about 90 meters, and that the right side of it is completely under water."

Two French tourists and a crew member from Peru were killed, Port authorities in Livorno said. One of the victims was a 65-year-old woman who died of a heart attack, according to authorities.

A surviving crew member, Rosalyn Rincon, 30, of Blackpool, England, said she wanted to know why the cruise ship was sailing so close to shore. She described a harrowing grounding of the vessel, whose tilting and rising water evoked the film "Titanic," she said.

"I'm pretty much angry, and I want to know why we were so close to the coast," said Rincon, who works as a dancer on the ship and was entertaining passengers by performing a trick inside a box with a magician when the accident occurred.

Nautilus International, a maritime employees trade union, called the accident a "wake-up call" to regulators.

"Nautilus is concerned about the rapid recent increases in the size of passenger ships -- with the average tonnage doubling over the past decade," said Nautilus general secretary Mark Dickinson in a statement. "Many ships are now effectively small towns at sea, and the sheer number of people onboard raises serious questions about evacuation."

The ship was 2.5 miles off route when it struck a rocky sandbar, according to the Italian Coast Guard. Local fishermen say the island coast of Giglio is known for its rocky sea floor.

12349156501?profile=original

Gianni Onorato, president of Costa Cruises, expressed "deep sorrow for this terrible tragedy," but said the cruise line was unable to answer all the questions that authorities are now investigating.

"On the basis of the initial evidence — still preliminary — Costa Concordia, under the command of Master Francesco Schettino, was sailing its regularly scheduled itinerary from Civitavecchia to Savona, Italy, when the ship struck a submerged rock," Onorato said in a statement before the announcement of the captain's announcement.

"Captain Schettino, who was on the bridge at the time, immediately understood the severity of the situation and performed a maneuver intended to protect both guests and crew, and initiated security procedures to prepare for an eventual ship evacuation," he continued.

"Unfortunately, that operation was complicated by a sudden tilting of the ship that made disembarkation difficult," Onorato said.

Some passengers fell into the chilly waters during the rescue, Italy's ANSA news agency reported.

The huge ship, which was lying on its side in shallow water Saturday evening, was carrying about 3,200 passengers and 1,000 crew members when it ran aground around dinner time.

12349157065?profile=original

Initial reports suggested as many as six people had been killed, but it was unclear why the number dropped. About 1,500 of the people aboard the ship were on their way home Saturday, the Civil Protection Authority said.

Passengers described how the lights went out and it then became clear the ship had hit something, prompting scenes of chaos.

Laurie Willits from Ontario, who was watching a magic show with her husband at that moment, told CNN: "We heard a scraping noise to the left of the ship and then my husband said 'we're sliding off our seats.'"

The couple ran to their cabin to get coats and life jackets before making their way to a lifeboat. Emergency instructions in English were hard to hear, Willits said.

Panic spread as people scrambled to find lifeboats in the dark as the ship quickly leaned to one side. Access to some lifeboats was hampered by the ship's tilt into the water, adding to the confusion.

Willits and her husband, who managed to get into a lifeboat about an hour to 90 minutes after the alarm was raised, watched from a pier on the island as the ship slowly sank until it was at an almost 90 degree angle in the water.

"I'm exhausted, I haven't had any sleep, I'm hungry," Willits said, but added that she was relieved to have been able to call her family thanks to the help of people on the island.

The coast guard said three helicopters were used to rescue some passengers from the ship.

Adm. Ilarione Dell'Anna, head of coastal authorities for the port city of Livorno, said an investigation is under way.

"There has probably been a technical blackout," he said. "The ship was dangerously near the coast. We worked all night in a state of maximum emergency.

"Fortunately the sea conditions have helped us, otherwise -- given the high number of people to rescue, 4,231 -- we could have had a completely different scenario: a real tragedy."

Many of those rescued in the early hours were taken to small churches and other buildings around the island for shelter. Some were still wearing the pajamas and slippers they had on as the ship went down, as they waited for help Saturday morning at reception centers set up on the island.

12349157463?profile=original

Costa said it was focusing on the final stages of the emergency operation and helping passengers and crew return home.

"It is a tragedy that deeply affects our company. Our first thoughts go to the victims and we would like to express our condolences and our closeness to their families and friends," Costa said on its website.

The Concordia, built in 2006, was on a Mediterranean cruise from Rome with stops in Savona, Marseille, Barcelona, Palma de Mallorca, Cagliari and Palermo, according to the cruise line. It was unclear how far into the cruise the grounding occurred.

Most of the passengers on board were Italian, as well as some French and German citizens.

CNN affiliate America Noticias, in Peru, said a group of 32 Peruvians were also onboard. Brazil's state-run Agencia Brasil said 53 Brazilians were on the cruise ship: 47 passengers and six crew members, according to the foreign ministry. An estimated 126 Americans were also on board, according to the U.S. State Department. There were no reports of injured Americans.

The United Kingdom's Foreign and Commonwealth Office was working with Italian authorities to identify British nationals on the cruise, a spokesman said.

Another Costa ship was involved in a deadly 2010 accident when the Costa Europa crashed into a pier in Egypt's Sharm el-Sheikh during stormy weather, killing three crew members.

The Biggest untold story in Music!!

I ran across a lawsuit against Young Money, Cash Money, LiL Wayne and Universal Music, the claims are that they hi-jacked the smash hit “Bedrock” from an artist out of Georgia named Blue Marley. I have been following the story and have looked into the evidence at hand, and it is pretty much undeniable to say the least. It appears like Done Deal Enterprises has their Bedrock assigned in Tunecore(according to the federal docs I looked at) with ISRC #'s and digital encoding ready for distribution months before Young Money can claim to have written it. So apparently it was definately jacked from Done Deal.Whats crazy is that Done Deal has all their paper work and back end buisness titened down like a major. I have never even heard of an indie doing this type of back end buisness unless some one, or everyone at DDE knows exactly what they are doing. From what my sources and I can gather, Universal and Young Money are completely down playing the whole thing, keeping the story completely out of the mainstream media. How come no one knows about this? There is no bigger story out there in Entertainment! Its a crying shame the world has come to what it is. Lets look at this circumstance and you tell me if this particular situation isnt a great template for where the world is today. So we know that in a jury trial situation, DDE is a definate winner due to the fact that the digital encoding doesnt lie. So why have they not settled with Done Deal and try to keep the integrity of every one involved? The same reason our goverment bailed out the banks, the car industry, and the oil companies. GREED!! The appitamy of greed to say the least.Remember the Casey Anthony trial? Millions of people watched her not only walk on murder charges, but get whisked away in a private jet after it was all said and done. Why? Because someone in entertainment(probably Universal) saw the numbers on that trial and realized it was worthtoo much money for her to go to prison!! They dont care about the little girl that died!! Its pathetic and a shame. Universal has more money than most gods but no one has morals or integrity anymore. They have basically acted like its not even going on trying to buy time. TYPICAL for big corporate buisness…Ill bet you if Blue Marley had an interview on Larry King next week they would jump all over settling it. Or mabey not, shit, people do not care about anything but money. Who cares that our kids worship these arrogant idiots like LiL Wayne. Its a dam joke if you ask me!! Whats even worse is the fact that the number one hip-hop artist and his label are the worst people in the business and are thieves. They have had over twelve lawsuits in the past 2 years alone and if you know their history, they came into the industry screwing people.(check out the Wendy Day story!) I would love to see Marley and Done Deal Enterprises get what they deserve and settle it, but another side of me hopes they tell them to go to hell and take them to jury trial and destroy everyone involved because that is exactly what would happen!! I am pledging to help DDE break this story because its what needs to happen for alot of reasons.Pass it along!! 12349181491?profile=original
