Denequia was born in Hollywood Florida on December 16, 1984 to Dennis Towns and Joyce Riley-Butler. Denequia started sining at the tender age of 4 years old. She joined her church choir at the age of 5 years old. Amazed at her vocal ability her choir director gave her a lead part sining" Yes, Jesus Loves Me" a song originally sung by the late Whitney Houston. Denequia sang so well and she surprised the church congregation with how strong and loud her voice was to be such a small young lady. She instantly won the churches favor as she was invited to sing a solo every Sunday after that. Denequia continued sining throughout her childhood in local talent shows and even in class at school. She was often asked by teachers to stop singing during instruction or quite time in class. Denequia blew her fellow classmates away when she sung at her middle school talent show and won. She sung in talent shows as often as she could in her mind she looked at it as practice for the day she'd actually become a Star. Denequia was a member of her high school choir at Hallandale Beach High School. The choir was led by Lowell Lampkin. Denequia loved music so much that for all of her high school career she had concert chorus, gospel choir and chorus 1 for first, second and third period. She traveled to colleges singing with her school choir as well as sig in the community more than often. Denequia is a singer/ songwriter who is destined for greatness in this music industry. She is determined to make a name for herself and show the world that she is talented and deserves a shot at proving her worth as an artist.
Cyntoia Brown was sentenced to life in prison for killing a man when she was 16-years-old after being forced into prostitution. R. Kelly has been accused of running a sex cult as seen on the Lifetime series 'Surviving R. Kelly.' This morning Ebro in the Morning addressed pimp culture, and spoke to callers who have had the experience or knew someone who did in their lifetime.
Report via TMZ -- At least 1 alleged victim of R. Kelly and families of 2 other alleged spoke Tuesday night, planning to present Chicago prosecutors with what they believe is sufficient evidence to prosecute the singer for sexual abuse and other crimes ... TMZ has learned.
We're told a family member of one of the alleged victims was the leader on the efforts, and he will put together an evidence packet for the Cook County State Attorney. As we reported, State Attorney Kim Foxx said Tuesday afternoon she was "sickened" by the Lifetime docuseries, "Surviving R. Kelly" and asked anyone who was a victim or has information about a victim to come forward.
An attorney for another alleged victim -- who does not live in Chicago -- made it clear she was going to contact the appropriate authorities on behalf of her client.
Those behind the efforts said they were fanning out to find other victims who would join their united front before presenting their cases to the State Attorney.
As of 6:30 PM Central Time, the State Attorney had received no calls from alleged victims.
As for the two women who are still living with R. Kelly -- Joycelyn Savage and Azriel Clary-- we're told they are hiring lawyers in an attempt to stop their parents from their efforts to reclaim their daughters and get them out of the singer's house. The parents have been leading the charge against R. Kelly and believe he's brainwashed their daughters.

Atlanta Constitution Journal-- During a weather forecast Friday on Rochester station WHEC that showed a live shot of the city’s Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Park, Kappell appeared to refer to the area as “Martin Luther Coon King Jr. Park,” the Democrat & Chronicle reported.
WHEC general manager Richard A. Reingold confirmed Kappell’s firing and apologized to viewers in a statement during Monday night’s broadcast.
“These words have no place on News10NBC’s air, and the fact that we broadcast them disheartens and disgusts me; that it was not caught immediately is inexcusable,” Reingold said. “I regret that we did not immediately interrupt our broadcast and apologize on the spot.”
Kappell has been the chief meteorologist since October 2017. In a video he posted to Facebook on Monday night, Kappell apologized and called the incident “a simple misunderstanding” and said he spoke too fast and “jumbled a couple of words.”
“If you watch me regularly you know that I contain a lot of information in my weathercast which forces me to speak fast and unfortunately, I spoke a little too fast when I was referencing Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.” Kappell said. “So fast that I jumbled a couple of words. In my mind I knew that I had mispronounced, but there was no malice, there was nothing I could have... I had no idea the way it had come across to many people. As soon as I mispronounced it I put an emphasis on King and had no idea what people could have interpreted that as and I know some people interpreted that the wrong way.”
Kappell said he was disappointed by his dismissal.
"I am ... extremely disappointed at the decisions made by my television station, who I expected a certain level of support from and I did not receive at all," he said in his Facebook video.
Daz Dillinger of the rap group Tha Dogg Pound could be staring at significant prison time after being indicted on two felony drug charges.
It could have been much worse, but prosecutors dropped 11 of the 13 charges against him.
Daz's legal trouble stems from a September of 2018 drug bust at his Powder Springs, Georgia home. During the raid police found 117 grams of weed, including in several cigarillo packets and a green mason jar, and a bunch of THC oil.
TMZ reports that the 45-year old rapper, born Delmar Drew Arnaud, could be facing as many as 25 years in prison if convicted.
