Audio After The Jump

Max B may be locked behind prison walls, but the wave king is still getting his hustle on.

He just released a youtube video advertising a three verse  $500 special for a limited time only.

The former Dipset affiliate is currently serving a 75 year sentence after being convicted of felony murder, aggravated manslaughter, kidnapping, armed robbery and conspiracy for his role in setting up a 2006 robbery in Fort Lee, New Jersey that left one man dead.

Earlier this year Max said it's possible he could be released on appeal by the end of the year.

By the time the media is done with Tracy Morgan it would be surprising if he will ever want to do stand-up comedy again.

The comedian set off a firestorm of controversy earlier this month when he crossed the line according to some who were in attendance at his Nashville show, when he joked about homosexuals.

He's since apologized several times publicly and even met with homeless gay teens

Today Morgan was back in Nashville at a press conference organized by GLAAD to issue yet another apology.

Kevin Rogers, who initially brought the issue to light with a Facebook post titled, “Why I No Longer ‘Like’ Tracy Morgan — A Must Read” was one of the first people Morgan apologized to.

The first thing I want to say is that I apologize to Kevin [Rodgers], the people who were at the show for bumming them out, I want to apologize to my friends and my family and my fans and everyone in every community, who is offended with this," Morgan said. “I pride myself on 20 years, 18 years of standup, using it to heal people and not hurt. That was my whole thing and I hurt people with this. So, from the bottom of my heart, I apologize to everybody who I offended with my words on stage in Nashville and anywhere else. I just apologize to you… To err is human, but to forgive is divine. These young people here forgave me… I just want to take this opportunity to help and not hurt.

Whether or not Morgan is truly remorseful only he knows, but let's look at this situation for what it really is.

Morgan is being forced to go on this "apology tour" because he wants to save his job on the sitcom 30 Rock. You can't fault him for that. I'm sure he gets a hefty paycheck from the show.

But at heart Morgan is a stand-up comic. Usually comedians are given some latitude in terms of what they can or can't say. And Morgan has been around long enough that people know when you see him live he is liable to say anything.

Unlike Michael Richards 2006 racist tirade in L.A. when he repeatedly called a black audience member a n*gger, Morgan wasn't directing his homophobic rant at anyone in particular.

I'm not defending Morgan because I'm sure some of what he said was hard to stomach if you were a gay audience member. I just think that if he had to apologize, once should have been enough. And if you went to his comedy show not knowing that he's a loose cannon then maybe you should have done your homework first.

After a month-long manhunt Jimmy "Henchman" Rosemond was nabbed by U.S. Marshals today (June 21).

Rosemond had been on the run since being indicted last month for his role in a cocaine distribution ring.

"The Rosemond Organization distributed hundreds of kilograms of cocaine since 2008 and generated millions of dollars through its narcotics sales," according to a 21-page complaint obtained by the New York Daily News.

While on the run Rosemond was implicated by a man named Dexter Isaacs as being involved in the 1994 shooting of Tupac Shakur at a recording studio in NYC. Isaacs claims Rosemond paid him $2500 to shoot the rap star.

Additionally two of Rosemond's associates, Rodney Johnson, 37 and Brian McLeod, 40, were charged last week in the 2009 murder of G-Unit affiliate Lowell "Lodi Mack" Fletcher.

Much like the federal informant the Daily News has accused Rosemond of being, he was snitched on by members of his cocaine distribution ring. The group allegedly used road crates typically meant for musical instruments to ship cocaine and money coast to coast. The drugs and cash were vacuum sealed and covered in mustard to throw drug sniffing dogs off.

The Czar Entertainment boss had been hiding out at the W Hotel in New York when U.S. Marshals spotted him. He tried to run but was tackled, chipping a tooth on the ground when he fell.

In addition to the drug charges, Rosemond is accused of witness tampering and obstruction of justice, authorities said.

A North Carolina man desperate for health insurance robbed a bank of $1 so he could get locked up for medical reasons.

59-year old James Verone is down on his luck. He has a growth of some kind on his chest, an injured foot, two ruptured discs, carpal tunnel syndrome and arthritis. Without a job or health insurance the only idea he could come up with was to rob RBC Bank in Gaston, NC hoping to get a three year sentence so his ailments could get treated.

Verone entered the bank unarmed on Thursday (June 9) and handed a teller a note with his demand.

"The note said 'this is a bank robbery, please only give me one dollar,'" Verone explained while sitting in Gaston County jail charged with felony larceny. "This is the first time I've ever been in trouble with the law. I'm sort of a logical person and that was my logic. (That was) what I came up with."

Before leaving his house by cab to commit the robbery, Verone sent a letter to the Gaston Gazette listing the county jail as the return address.

When you receive this a bank robbery will have been committed by me. This robbery is being committed by me for one dollar,” he wrote. “I am of sound mind but not so much sound body."

Verone is currently in jail on $2000 bond.

Last night Lupe Fiasco went on the O'Reilly Factor to talk about his recent comments that President Obama is a terrorist.

The 29-year old rapper didn't back down from his previous statements, but did try to clarify them.

"To put it into context I was asked about a song I did called 'Words I Never Said' which addresses terrorism," Lupe said. "So the statement that I made which was the biggest terrorist -- Obama and the United States of America and it's foreign policy. It's really just an expression of me trying to understand critically the society."

Host Bill O'Reilly defended Obama, which is something new for Fox News.

"President Obama is not a terrorist," O'Reilly said. "He's trying to do what he believes is the right thing to do. The United States is not a bad nation, it's a noble nation. We're trying to defend ourselves against people who killed us on 9/11. And you go out there and talk to a lot of younger people, and this is what gets me. Your constituency are not exactly political science Ph.D's, they're impressionable young kids."

Watch the full interview below and let us know who you think made more valid points.

While Nicki Minaj and Lil Kim continue to duke it out for the title of best female emcee don't expect Sean Price to cheer either of them on.

"I like no female rappers... not one," The veteran Brooklyn rapper told VladTV. "They don't hold my interest except MC Lyte. I haven't bought a female album since MC Lyte 'Lyte As A Rock.' Rah Digga gets busy too. But other than that, none of 'em."

Sean said he's been tricked by one hit female wonders like Boss in the past and doesn't plan on letting it happen again.

"I've been fooled -- you know how they will have a nice single. I was one of those dudes [that] if the single was good I'd buy the album. I got fooled a few times," Sean said.

Troubled rapper DMX plans to get things going in the right direction when he is released from prison next month.

His release date from Arizona State Prison where he has been locked up the last six months, was pushed back one week from July 6 to July 13. But that is a minor setback for Dark Man X who promises "things will be different this time" when he is set free.

The 40-year old plans on putting out new music this summer and a reality show with fiance Yadira Borrego titled “X-tended Family.”

Borrega released a statement saying: "He is an amazing father and man. The media has never shown who he really is."

After what can only be described as a train wreck of a concert in Belgrade, Serbia, Amy Winehouse has cancelled several festival dates so she can get her act together.

"Despite feeling sure that she wanted to fulfill these commitments, she has agreed with management that she cannot perform to the best of her ability and will return home," her spokesperson said in a statement. "She would like to apologize to fans expecting to see her at the shows but feels that this is the right thing to do."

The news of the cancellations comes on the heels of Amy's appearance at Belgrade's Forest Festival. The singer was obviously wasted as she stumbled around the stage, half-singing, half-mumbling her songs in front of 20,000 fans.

Watch video of the concert below.
