Wyclef Jean was celebrating his 42nd birthday last night at Webster Hall in NYC, when he spotted a couple of people in the crowd standing still.

The Fugees member halted the music and told everyone onstage not to follow him as he jumped into the crowd solo and got at a couple of haters.

"The whole crowd is moving and y'all just stand there man," he admonished. "Catch the vibes with us!"

'Clef then told the dj to start the music again and everyone started dancing to Shakira's "Hips Don't Lie."

Satisfied with the response Wyclef made his way back to the stage.

Other stars in attendance included Busta Rhymes and Shaggy.

50 Cent has made quite an impression on Gayle King.

As we previously reported, the two have already moved past the "get to know each other" stage. Gayle has even told her children that Fif might be their new stepfather.

Yesterday the talk show host took it a step further by getting a 50 Cent tattoo on her arm. She was more than happy to show it off to actor Kal Penn, who was a guest.

"Now this is the thing Kal...50 was here yesterday sitting in that very same chair," she said. "He was here yesterday and I was having a lot of fun with 50, 'cause you'll find I'm a fun girl before this is all over. And I said 'You know what would be funny? Is to get a 50 Cent tattoo on my arm.' So somebody came in this morning and did it. My children will be mortified and horrified, but they're out of town so it's ok."

Of course, all of this was in good fun. The tattoo isn't permanent, but Gayle is genuinely impressed by Fif. She thanked him for having such a great sense of humor and for appearing on her show.

Actor Samuel L. Jackson has been declared the highest grossing actor of all time by the Guinness Book of World Records.


Jackson has starred in some of Hollywood's biggest blockbuster films in his 20 plus year career.


Jurassic Park ($914 million), Pulp Fiction ($212 million) and the Star Wars prequels ($2.4 billion) are among his top earners according to the Chicago Tribune.


In all, Jackson's films have raked in a staggering $7.4 billion dollars at the box office, and that figure will continue to rise because the man simply never stops working. He averages four films a year. He's made more than 100 films since his 1989 debut in Harold Becker's Sea of Love, where he billed as simply the "black man."


In 2012 the actor will star as Nick Fury in the highly anticipated movie, The Avengers. That film is expected to do huge box office numbers as well.


Somewhere Tom Cruise, Johnny Depp and Arnold Schwarzenegger are scratching their heads wondering what just happened.

Prodigy's book, My Infamous Life: The Autobiography of Mobb Deep’s Prodigy, caused a lot of controversy when it released. It touched on a lot of subjects that some of his former associates would have rather left buried in the past.

P told MTV that the backlash was expected.

"I knew that gonna come," he told Sway. "I was just being real. It wasn't no publicity stunt. It was me being myself and telling my story."

Prodigy already has an actor in mind for the role of himself if thev book ever became a movie.

“I’d need a top actor…get Denzel [Washington] or something," he said.

Denzel has definitely proven he can adapt to any role. He has an Oscar for his portrayal of a rogue Los Angeles cop in the movie Training Day to prove it, but he's probably a little too old to play P.

Lloyd Banks recently met the always animated Odd Future crew. This comes on heels of a recent picture that surfaced of Tony Yayo in the studio working with OFWGKTA's Hodgy Beats Beats and Left Brain.

Usher probably won't make this mistake again.

According to TMZ the singer had just arrived at a Halloween party in Atlanta last weekend when he decided to park in a a spot designated for handicapped people. That's when a woman became irate and attacked him.

"This is my f*cking spot!" the woman screamed "You don't belong here!"

At one point she grabs Usher's hoodie.

"Do not touch me," he tells her, before she is eventually dragged away by her husband.

Lil Wayne is obviously no Jay-Z fan. The two have sent shots back and forth at each other for a while now. It's gotten to the point where Weezy doesn't even want to hear Hov's music, including his Watch The Throne album with Kanye West.

"I haven't heard the album," Wayne said in the latest issue of Vibe. "I'll probably never hear the album."

It could be that Wayne is too busy building his own empire over at Young Money to worry about what everyone else is doing. He realizes it's his job to bring the best out of his artists. That might explain why he's so hard on Nicki Minaj.

"I'm not satisfied with anything she's done," Wezzy says. "I believe she can do a whole lot more, and I believe she will do a whole lot more. It's not shocking, and it's not surprising. It's quite fitting. But other than that, it's nowhere near the end."

Lil Wayne's latest offering Tha Carter IV was expected do big first week numbers. However, few people thought it would sell nearly a million copies that opening week.

In an interview with Global Grind, 50 Cent says what a lot of people have been thinking about those numbers.

"To be honest with you, the Lil Wayne sales are a little suspect to me," 50 said. "Because it was trending 600,000 pieces that week. And they didn’t do a million copies, it was like 900,000."

Fif says Tha Carter III was a much better album.

"Tha Carter III was definitely hot. He did that," admits the G-Unit boss. "Tha Carter III commanded that energy, but the last one that just came out, those numbers are funny."

It must have been some party 28-year old Erin B. Holdsworth was coming from on the night of October 11, 2011. Police in the Ohio town of Bainbridge Township, say a drunken Holdsworth led them on a wild police chase that hit speeds of up to 128 mph.

When Holdsworth was finally stopped, she exited the vehicle stumbling wearing only a g-string and tennis shoes.

"In 26 years on working in Bainbridge Township as a police officer I don't ever recall having a subject in such a state of undress and being driving," a police officer said.

After being handcuffed and placed in the back of a patrol car, Holdsworth wasn't done acting like an idiot. She yelled at the police officers and kicked the glass divide.

She has been charged with operating a vehicle impaired (OVI), refusing a blood alcohol test, fleeing and eluding, criminal damage, driving under a suspended licence, speeding and reckless operation at Chardon Municipal Court according to the Daily News.

she is due back on court November 2.

Justin Bieber has worked hard for his money so excuse him while he stunts a little bit.

The 17-year old pop sensation was spotted cruising around Los Angeles in a one-of-a-kind Cadillac CTS-V Batmobile. The customized black-on-black whip comes equipped with suicide doors and HID headlamps, with JB's logo on the side panels. In addition, the Batman logo is displayed on the front and back and the word "Batmobile" is embossed on the trunk.

Now all JB has to do is avoid getting pulled over by the cops.

TMZ is reporting that the "Baby" singer was cruising around L.A. yesterday with good friend Sean Kingston following close behind in his black Rolls Royce, when they were pulled over for cutting off a cop.

Big Snoop Dogg gets serious in the latest installment of Double G News.

The Doggfather talks conspiracy theories surrounding flu shots, blue tooth technology, the 2012 apocalypse and drugs in the ghetto.

"I honestly believe that the government did put crack in the ghettos. Because I was one who sold crack and dibbled and dabbled around with it, and it just fell out the sky," he says. "It wasn't just like it was something that just we grew it or knew how to make it from scratch, it was given to us. And when it was given to us we passed it on to our homies. Snoop went on to compare the disparity between the punishment for possessing powdered cocaine vs crack.

Is it over already?

Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries have only been married two months, but according to published reports their marriage is already on the rocks.

US Magazine is reporting that the reality star and her NBA husband "are not getting along at all."

The problems seems to stem from Kim's hectic schedule and the fact that Kris is currently out of work due to the NBA lockout, which has no end in sight. So, while Kim is bringing in big money, Kris isn't making a dime. He's reportedly been spending a lot of Kim's cash partying and Kim wants him to be more productive.

Add that to the fact that Kris reportedly just isn't buying into the Kardashian clan hype.

"Kris is not drinking the Kardashian Kool-Aid, and it's causing major problems," a source told Us Magazine.

The couple dated for nine months before getting married in a lavish $10 million dollar wedding.

"On some levels she feels like she made a mistake," says the source.
