If you're a burglar it would be a good idea to avoid LL Cool J's crib because he isn't having it.
TMZ reports that a would be thief entered LL's Los Angeles home around 2 A.M. this morning. The only problem for him was that LL was home and heard noises leading him to go downstairs to investigate.
The "NCIS Los Angeles" star found the intruder who had tripped his alarm system and confronted him, eventually detaining him until the police arrived.
The Queens-bred rapper/actor came out of the scuffle just fine, but the intruder reportedly suffered a few bruises.

American Idol is apparently swinging for the fences in an effort to try and solidify their panel of judges for next season. Mariah Carey is already locked in. Nicki Minaj is heavily rumored to also be on board. And now TMZ is reporting that Fox has reached out to Kanye West.
West is not on board yet, but he has expressed interest.
"He's on the fence," says a source. He's not sure yet if Idol is his type of gig.
If Yeezy accepts the offer he would have to at least be paid what Mariah is making. Which is reported to be $18 million for a season.
Fox executives are interested in possibly going with four judges this season. A combination of two men and two women have been discussed.
Others in the running include Keith Urban, Brad Paisley and Enrique Iglesias.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. knows how to stunt big time. The pound-for-pound bext boxer in the world let the cameras follow along as he boarded his private jet, or "Air Mayweather" as he likes to call it.
PBF proceeded to pull out $1 million in cash as he headed out to Miami for some fun.

Lil Wayne is still working on his skateboarding skills, but he already has his own sneaker line thanks to SUPRA. Weezy had been wearing the company's Skytop sneakers since they were first introduced in 2007 without knowing they were skate shoes. Now that it's become well known that the rapper has a passion for skateboarding he has teamed up with SUPRA for his own brand of footwear. The collection of new models will launch May, 1 2013 at SUPRA retailers worldwide.
Wayne talked to MTV at the Magic Convention in Las Vegas about his upcoming sneaker line.
"I was just rocking 'em when I was skating and stuff and when I got real cool with the homey Stevie Williams, it was like a plug from him," Wayne told MTV News. "It was just a mutual respect on each end so it was just bound to happen. I look at the reality and the facts of it, like I been rocking this shoe before I even knew what it was. So for me to start skating and for these shoe lines to start coming at me like, 'Hey, we wanna give you your own skate shoe,' it was only right for me to mess with the people I been messing with even before they were a skate shoe."

American Idol's plans to add Nicki Minaj to their judging panel may have hit a major snag because TMZ is reporting that Mariah Carey is not happy about the decision and may walk.
According to the report, Mariah was led to believe she would be the only woman on the judge's panel. When Mariah was told that Nicki would be joining she hung up the phone.
The whole thing is still up in the air because behind the scenes the powers that be can't decide whether to have a panel consisting of two women and one man or two women and two men.
Randy Jackson's position on the new season has yet to be decided. Idol officials are still debating if he should be brought back in his familiar spot as a judge or take on a new mentor's role.
And finally there is the issue of the panel's race. Officials are worried that middle America may not tune if there is an all black panel of Minaj, Carey and Jackson.
Sounds like a real mess over at American Idol.
